    Norbert Joseph Vonck passed away on July 2, 2010. Norbert was born in Green Bay, on May 5, 1914, to Frank and Marie (Kaysers) Vonck. In Dec. of 1933, he married Dolores Robinson. They shared 52 years together. Then in November of 1986, he married Edna Christensen. They shared 23 years together. He was employed by Lawrence University for over 30 years. He spent the last two years of his employment there as the caretaker of Lawrence University's Bjorklunden property in Door County. Norbert was a man known for his firm handshakes, his work ethic and someone that loved the outdoors. His passions were gardening, fishing, clock making, hunting, woodworking and raising beagles. In his younger days, he raised many litters of beagles and trained them to be hunting dogs. He will be remembered for the pride he took in all of his projects.
    Norbert is survived by his wife Edna Vonck, Oconto Falls; his daughter Mary (Don) Abel, Darboy; daughter-in-law Linda Vonck, Larsen; stepdaughter Valerie (Tom) Allen, Manitowoc; stepdaughter Imogene (Von) Solberg, Racine; stepson Ron (Karen) Christensen, Green Bay; sister Cecelia Van de Loo, De Pere; sister-in-law Elaine Paveletzke, Menasha; brother-in-law Owen Schoenebeck, Green Bay; grandchildren Vicki (Alan) Auer, Florida, Shari Dickson, Florida, Bonnie (Carl) Van Vreede, Darboy, Dennis Vonck, Milwaukee, Julie (Jean-Didier) Allongue, Mequon, Timm (Christina) Abel, Darboy, Carrie LaBounty, Florida, and Stacie Vonck, Florida. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may visit at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the mass. Entombment will take place in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.

    Cecilia Marie (Vonck) Vande Loo, 92, Green Bay, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 28, 2010, in the company of loving family members. Cecilia was born Sept. 10, 1917, in Allouez, Wis., daughter of the late Frank and Marie (Keysers) Vonck. Cecilia married Francis Vande Loo of De Pere, Wis., on June 17, 1939, in Appleton.
    In her youth, Cecilia lived in Kimberly and Appleton, where she graduated from Appleton High School. After graduation, she worked for an Appleton law firm. Prior to World War II, Cecilia and Francis' home was in Brillion. Following the War, they made their home and raised their family in Wrightstown. They lived their final years in De Pere.
    Cecilia was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family in De Pere. Her strong faith, her deep love for her husband and their seven children, and her desire to help others, guided her life. Cecilia was a member of the Brown County Medical Association Auxiliary, Our Lady of Charities Guild, the Hilly Haven Women's Golf League, and an officer in the Christian Mothers Society. She volunteered her time at St. Paul's Catholic School and Church in Wrightstown, Brown County Mental Health Center, Rennes Rehab and Health Center, St. Vincent de Paul, Meals on Wheels, and The Abbot Pennings Foundation. Cecilia donated time as a Den Mother for the Boy Scouts of America. She was a Troop Leader in the Girl Scouts of America, as well as an advisor for the Marian Award. For a number of years, Cecilia and Francis taught religious education and led groups in the Renew program.
    Cecilia cherished a wide variety of music, her beautiful flower gardens, her children's activities and any type of sports activity, but especially golf and basketball. She enjoyed entertaining, complemented by her flair for cooking and baking. Cecilia and Francis enjoyed spending their winters during retirement in Arizona and Florida. A special relationship with her grandchildren brought her great happiness.
    Cecilia is survived by her children, Francis Bud (Jan) Vande Loo, Winter Springs, Fla.; Patricia (Dick Micek) Hogan, Arvada, Colo.; Ronald (Darlene Atkins) Vande Loo, Washington, D.C.; Susan (Charles) Pauly, Fishersville, Va.; Marcy (Dave) Kopecko, Grafton, Wis.; Stephen (Debbie) Vande Loo, Roswell, Ga.; and Jeff (Candie) Vande Loo, Suamico, Wis.; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In April, 2010, Francis, her husband for over 70 years, preceded Cecilia in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, Theodore and Norbert Vonck; sisters, Roberta Mauel, Genevieve Busch, and Dorothy Muntner.
    Visitation for Cecilia will be Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010, at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 N. Tenth St, De Pere, from 5 to 7 p.m. Visitation will continue Monday, Aug. 2, 2010, at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, 1307 Lourdes Ave, De Pere, from 2 p.m. until time of Mass.     Vonck, James F. (Jim) Town of Winchester 71, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, February 28th, 2008, the day of his 22nd wedding anniversary to his loving wife Linda. Jim was born August 16, 1936 in Appleton, Wisconsin, son of Norbert and Dolores Vonck (Robinson).
    Jim served 5 years in the U.S. Marine Corp. Once a Marine always a Marine. He worked for Banta Corporation for 40 years and 17 years for the Neenah Taxi Company. Earlier in life, Jim enjoyed square dancing, hunting and fishing with his father, Norbert and son Andy, playing fast pitch baseball, bowling and riding his motorcycle. Later he loved listening to Polka music, riding his tractor and continued to be an avid gardener. He was excellent at grilling, making his famous popcorn and spicing up his chili recipe. He told great jokes and played a mean game of pool. Jim is remembered for his zest for life, strong work ethic, love of family and wonderful personality. He always had a sparkle in his eye and a grin that made you smile.
    Jim is survived by his wife, Linda, two children: Dennis Vonck, Muskego and Bonnie (Carl) Van Vreede, Darboy; his father Norbert and step mother Edna, Appleton; grandson Jay Van Vreede; step granddaughter Stephanie Van Vreede; siblings: sister Mary (Don) Abel, Darboy and brother Donald, Florida. In Laws include: Vivian Plamann, Jeanette (Jack) Yogerst, Gerri (Ron) Schroeder, Marian Sepich, Nancy (Roy) Mandel, David (Carleen) Koehnke, Ralph (Betty) Koehnke, Marvin (Cathy) Koehnke, Robert, Richard, Gary and Roger Koehnke. He is further survived by his sister in law, Pat Koehnke, brother in law Lloyd Arnoldussen and many other beloved nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his son, Andrew, his mother Dolores and sister Joyce Dickson. Also his faithful dog and true companion, Pecos. He was also preceded in death by mother in law Agnes Koehnke, father in law Ralph Koehnke, sister in law, Beatrice Arnoldussen, brother in laws: Harold Dickson, LeRoy, Kenneth and Donald Koehnke, Donald Houle and Melvin Plamann.
    The family would like to thank Dr. Gail McNutt, nurse Connie and the staff at the Veterans Administration. Dr. Anthony Phillips and nurse staff, especially Kathy at the Martha Siekmen Center, Hospice and ThedaCare at Home. Also the nurses and staff at the 3rd floor Cancer Center in Appleton Medical Center, with another special thanks to Nurse Jen. To all, your special kindness and care are greatly appreciated.
    As per Jims wishes, there will be no funeral services held.
    Jim, our wonderful son, husband, dad, brother, grandfather and friend, you were loved beyond words and will be missed dearly. Semper Fi& Hoorah!

    Donald J.Vonck, 64, died Thursday, April 8, 2010, at St. Mary's Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida after a lingering illness. He was born January 27, 1946, in Appleton, the son of Norbert and Dolores (Robinson) Vonck.
    After graduating from Appleton West High School, he joined the Navy and served in Vietnam. He settled in Florida where he married Brenda Pearce. He was an avid golfer, excellent cook, loved fishing and spent many hours reading. His grandchildren were the joy of his life.
    Don is survived by his father Norbert (Edna) Vonck, Oconto Falls, children: Carrie LaBounty, Stacie Vonck, both Florida, his sister Mary (Don) Abel, Darboy, grandchildren: Lauren and Alexandra LaBounty and Alana Vonck.
    He was preceded in death by his mother Dolores Vonck, sister Joyce Dickson, brother James Vonck, nephew Andrew Vonck, and brother-in-law Harold Dickson.
    Funeral services were held in West Palm Beach, Florida.
