Obituary:
Frank Fritsch, a well known former resident of our city, died suddenly at his home in Grimms on Wednesday last, the cause of death being heart failure. Mr. Fritsch was engaged in some little task in his home when stricken. Apparently he had been a well man and when members of the family found the dead body the tragedy took then entirely unawares. Physicians who were summoned declared death had come to him instantaneously and without pain.
Decedent was born in the town of Maple Grove in 1867. Some time after his marriage to Miss Annie Barth he removed with his family to Brillion and for many years was a trusted employe of the Ornsby Lime Co., and later the Western Lime and Cement Co. which conducts a large lime and crushed stone products plant here. About five years ago he was promoted to a foremanship and then superintendent of the large Grimms plant and was highly regarded by his employers for the careful and diligent discharge of his duties. His relations with the men under him were always the most friendly.
Surviving him are the sorrowing widow and ten children, five sons and five daughters. The sons are Ruben, Melvin, Edward, Victor and Lester. The daughters are Alma, Ester, Pearl, Ethel and Vivian. All the children are at Grimms. He is also survived by four brothers, Charles, John, George and Anton, two sisters, Mrs. Mary Sorenson, and Mrs. Sara Grundschnable, both of Dorchester.
The funeral will take place tomorrow and will be in charge of the Brillion Lodge of Odd Fellows. Interment will be in Brillion.
