    Garvey, Wilhelmina "Minni e" AppetonAge 95, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2002 at Franciscan Care Cent er in Appleton. She was born July 22, 1907 in Sevenum, Holland, daught er of the late Christiaan and Jacoba (Scheurs) Philipsen. She married Jam es Garvey April 29, 1929, sharing 32 years together before his death Decem ber 10, 1961. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Chris tian Mother's Alter Society. Survivors include 2 sons and a daughters-in-l aw: Emmett (Red) and Doris Garvey, Neenah; Daniel and Patty Garvey, Wright stown; a daughter Loretta Randall, Appleton, a sister-in-law: Mrs. Geor ge (Ann) Philipsen, Appleton; 7 grandchildren: Mike Garvey; Dean Garvey; R uth Garvey; Jim Garvey; Erin Garvey; Daniel Garvey; Kelly Garvey; 6 gre at grandchildren; Mike, Becky and Nick Garvey; A.J. Garvey; Hunter and Cal eb Garvey; special niece Lorayne (Tony) Evers, Little Chute. Preceding h er in death are 5 brothers: John, William, Ted, George, and Rev. Michael O'Rourke officiating. Burial will take pla ce at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Freedom. Friends may call at the Brettschneid er-Trettin-Lederer Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, November 19, 2002 fr om 4 P. M until 7 P.M. and at the church on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until t he time of service. A parish wake service will be held at 6:30 P.M. Tuesda y.     Randall, Loretta M. (nee Garvey), Appleton, age 77, died Wednesday, August 29, 2007, at Franciscan Care Center. Loretta was born March 12, 1930, to the late James P. and Minnie (Philipson) Garvey. She graduated with the class of 1948 at Appleton High School. In May of 1962, Loretta was united in marriage with David Randall. He preceded her in death in 1997. She worked for many years with the Department of Taxation both in Appleton and Milwaukee. She was an avid Milwaukee Braves and Brewers fan. She was a member at St. Mary Catholic Church, Appleton.
    She is survived by her brother, Dan (Patty) Garvey, Wrightstown; her sister-in-law Doris Garvey, Neenah; further survived by many nieces and nephews and her special cousins Joan Murphy and Lorayne Evers.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and a brother Emmett "Red" Garvey.
    A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 1, at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Lederer Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Michael O'Rourke officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
    The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Mary Ellen at Franciscan Care Center and to Dr. John Elisberg for their kindness, care and concern.

He was born Aug. 4, 1932 in Appleton, son of the late James and M innie (Philipsen) Garvey. Red married Doris Smith. He was a Neenah reside nt for over 40 years. Red was formerly employed with American National Ca n, retiring in 1994. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a m ember of the American Legion Hawley Dieckhoff Post #33 of Neenah. Red w as an avid bowler for many years and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.Survivors include three sons, Mike (Cynthia) Garvey, Greenville; Dean Garv ey, Menasha; Jim Garvey, Neenah; a daughter, Ruth (Scott) Gadicke, Appleto n; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; a brother, Dan (Patty) Garve y, Wrightstown; and a sister, Loretta Randall, Appleton;He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Christie and a brother-in-la w, David Randall.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2004 at 5 p.m. at Neenah 's Westgor Funeral Home, with Jordan Kuczwara, Theda Care at Home Hospi ce Chaplain, officiating.     Dean "Hound Dog" Garvey, age 52, passed away on Thursday May 22, 2014 at his home. He was born on June 28, 1961 in Neenah, son of Leah Garvey and the late Emmett Garvey. Dean was a graduate of Menasha High School. He owned and operated F.A.S.T. Auto since 2002. He loved working on cars and going up north jet skiing, 4 wheeling and snowmobiling. Dean would help anyone in need, he cared about everyone and gave his time and resources. He was a dear friend to tons of people.
    Dean is survived by his mother, Leah Garvey; son Andrew Garvey; brother, Michael (Cindy) Garvey; sister, Cheri ( Virgil Van Asten) Becker; half -brother, Jim half- sister, Ruth; nieces and nephews Mike, Becky, Nick, Jan, Elliott and Lainey, other relatives and friends.
    Memorial Service will be at 11:00am on Saturday May 31, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Second Street, Menasha; with Father Paul Paider officiating. Friends and family may visit at the CHURCH from 10:00 am until the time of service.
    A special thank you to Nurse Kristy from Theda Care and Deacon Rick Dvorack.
