    Obituary:
    Tim Verhagen, age 49, of Appleton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday December 15, 2007. Tim was born in Appleton on July 16, 1958, son of Merle and Gloria (Vande Burgt) Verhagen. Tim enjoyed spending time up north with his mom, dad, and family playing sheepshead, swimming in the lake and taking walks. Tim had a passion for helping others and making them smile. He loved to stop by and visit with a bouquet of flowers. He was always willing to lend a hand and will be remembered for his generosity and huge loving heart. Tim was a devoted son, brother and uncle and a dedicated worker at Gary's Flowerland where he was employed for 33 years.
    Survivors include his mom and dad; brothers: Mark Verhagen, Little Chute; Bill (Brenda) Verhagen, Appleton; and their children: Andrew and Brandon; Merle (Lora) Verhagen, Appleton; and their children Peyton and Ava; sisters Debby (Jeff) Evers, Appleton; and their children Amy, Holly, and Jason; and Lynn (Randy) Verhagen, Little Chute; and their children Casey and Logan.
    Tim was preceded in death by his grandparents John and Antonette Vande Burgt and Wilbert and IreneVerhagen; uncle Fred Verhagen and cousin Jody Bellin.The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 20th at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 500 W. Marquette St. Appleton, with Fr. Quinn Mann officiating. Friends will be received directly at the church from 2:00 p.m. Thursday until the time of the service. A reception in the church hall will follow the service. Interment will take place at St. Mary of the Lakes Cemetery in Lakewood, WI.
    Tim, We miss you. We love you. You'll be forever in our hearts. Love, Deb & Jeff, Mark, Bill & Brenda, Lynn & Randy and Merle & Lora.
    We'll miss all the beautiful flowers you brought us, but we'll miss you more.We love you. Until we meet again.. Love, Mom and Dad
