    Rich Evers was called to his eternal rest while at their cottage in Pickerel on August 24, 2015 at the age of 90. Rich was born April 6, 1925 in the Town of Vandenbroek, Wisconsin to the late Martin and Mary (Vanderloop) Evers. He proudly served his country during WWII. Rich was a member of the Freedom VFW Post 7692. He married Dorothy DeWildt on November 9, 1946 at Holy Spirit Parish in Kimberly. Rich was a farmer in the town of Grand Chute and was still living on the home farm. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, traveling, playing cards, going to the Casino and being at their cottage in Pickerel. Rich loved having family and friends to their home and cottage.
    He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Dorothy (DeWildt) Evers; children and grand-children: David (Alice) Evers of Combined Locks and Kevin, Tim, Julie and Chad; Gary (Debra) Evers of Kaukauna and Melissa, Amy and Ric; Carol (Steve) Warner of Darboy and Jeff, Keith, Brian, Matt and Dan; Darlene (Les) Seggelink of Kaukauna and Eric, Jessica and Alicia; Linda (Roy) Baumruk of Grand Chute and Nicole; Marty (Sue) Evers of Appleton and Rebecca, Deshonda, Michael, James, Rachael and Martin; and Crystal DeWildt (formerly Mary Evers) (special friend Dean Fahrbach) of Seymour and Jayson and Kallista; and Ashley (daughter of Bruce Evers); 48 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Rose (Joe) Dietzen, Norbert (Helen) Evers, Margaret Christensian, Sister Cecil Evers, Jerome (Lois) Evers, Tom (Sue) Evers and Father Len Evers; and sisters-in-law: Ione Schommer and Joyce McCann. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    He is preceded in death by his son, Bruce Evers; three infant children: Carol, Gary and Joseph; infant great grandchild Nathan; parents Martin and Mary (Vander Loop) Evers; in-laws: George and Anna (Van Munn) DeWildt; siblings: Geraldine (Elmer) Theunis, Don Christensian, Jerome, Margaret, Cecilia, Bertilla and Martha Evers; brothers & sisters-in-law; Anna (Sylvester) Vanden Boogard, Hank, Joseph, Clementh DeWildt, Adrian (Catherine) DeWildt, Paul Schommer and Ron McCann.
    Visitation will be held Thursday August 27, 2015 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 Pine St. Little Chute) beginning at 12:00 Noon until time of Mass at 4:00 p.m. The Rev. Msgr. James Vanden Hogen will officiate and Rich's brother, Rev. Len Evers will concelebrate. The Freedom V.F.W. Post 7692 will conduct military rites immediately following Mass.     See Image Evers, Bruce N. HilbertFormerly of Appleton, age 45, died suddenly Monday, April 7, 2003. He w as born December 28, 1957 in Appleton, son of Richard and Dorothy (De Wild t) Evers. Bruce was an attorney with Gill & Gill, S.C. since 1986. He grad uated from St. Norbert College in 1979, with a B.S. in finance, the Univer sity of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1983, with a B.S. in Accounting and the Unive rsity of Wisconsin-Madison with a Doctor of Law, (J.D.) in 1986. He was ad mitted to the Wisconsin Bar in 1986 and also admitted to practice in Easte rn and Western District of Wisconsin, State of Michigan/ Western Distri ct of Michigan and the Western District of Texas. Bruce was listed in Stra thmore's "Who's Who Registry of Business Leaders." He was member of Outaga mie County and American Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin. Br uce was an active contributor to Habitat for Humanity and the Valley Kid s' Foundation. He also performed numerous pro bono legal efforts on beha lf of those less fortunate in our community. Bruce will be remembered by t he many lawyers who came in contact with him who, without exception, fou nd him to be not only highly competent but an ethical and hard working att orney who vigorously represented his clients. Bruce will be missed by h is friend and fellow attorney with Gill & Gill, Gregory Gill, who saw Bru ce meet many legal challenges with determination and success. He will al so be greatly missed by Linda and Sara of Gill & Gill. Bruce will be remem bered by his former wife and friend, Laura Kleine. Bruce and Laura work ed successfully together as friends and parents for the common good of the ir beautiful daughter, Ashley.
