    Obituary:
    Katherine M. Ver Haagh, 91, Green Bay resident, died on Wed. morning, Feb. 6, 2013 after a short illness. She was born on March 31, 1921 in Allouez to the late Frank and Christine (Piron) Kolb. Katherine graduated from East DePere High School. On March 30, 1940 she married Francis Ver Haagh in Green Bay. Katherine was a 4-H Leader for many years. She also volunteered at Heritage Hill and Parkview Nursing Home, reading to the residents. She was also a member of the DePere Historical Society. She and her husband were members of the former Jerry Voelker Dance Club and the Happy Hoppers. Katherine also served as editor of the St. Louis Parish newsletter. She loved geneology and playing sheepshead. Katherine was a proud Homemaker and was Brown County Homemaker of the Year twice.
    She is survived by her children, James Ver Haagh, DePere; Jeanne (Ralph) Weaver, Suamico; Daniel (Mary) Ver Haagh, Red Banks; daughter-in-law, Terry Ver Haagh, DePere; Barbara Ver Haagh, Sun City, AZ; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Bernice (Donald) Smith, Allouez; sister-in-law, Pat Urban-Kolb, Milwaukee; special friend, Sally Hanna; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis; two sons, Wayne and Kenneth Ver Haagh; one granddaughter, Venus Ver Haagh; daughter-in-law, Marge Ver Haagh; and brother, Harvey Kolb.
    Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. on Friday from 4 to 8pm. Parish Wake Service 7pm at the funeral home with Parish Director, Pat Ratajczak officiating. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30am at St. Louis Church, Dyckesville. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am with Rev. John Van Deuren officiating. Entombment at Nicolet Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be sent to the Ver Haagh family at www.prokowall.com.
    In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund is being established in Katherine's name.
    The family would like to express a special thank you to the 4th floor staff of Bellin Hospital; Unity Hospice, Dr. Amy James and Dr. Michael Swift; and all others who helped with Katherine's care.
