    Obituary:
    Thomas H. "Tom" Vande Walle, 81, De Pere passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2013. Tom was born on November 30, 1931 in De Pere the son of the now late Urban and Margaret (Rice) Vande Walle. Tom was employed for over 29 years at N.W.T.C. in the maintenance department doing anything and everything that needed to be done - Tom could do it all! He had many passions in life but was well known for his cooking, candy making abilities and his love of gardening especially his red roses.
    Tom is survived by his loving wife Norma, a son Peter Vande Walle, his daughter and and son-in-law Lara and Mike Fritts, Annapolis, MD; two granddaughters, three sisters and one brother-in-law Elizabeth Ernst, Jean (Bill) Rentmeester, Judy Twomey, one sister-in-law Jean Vande Walle, two brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law Marty (Rocky) Hockers, Frank (Dawn) Hockers. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by two brothers Richard and Glenn, one sister Carol Byron, 3 brothers-in-law Gus Ernst, Richard Byron and Tim Twomey.
    In accordance with Tom's wishes private services were held for the immediate family. Entombment at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Chapel Mausoleum.
    In lieu of other expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations may be made to Unity Hospice. The family would like to offer a special thank-you to the staff of Unity Hospice for all of the compassion and dignity shown to Tom. Also, a warm note of appreciation to the staff of Allouez Parkside Village for the wonderful care and attention.
