Obituary:
On August 15, 1928, he was appointed to the Catholic University of America where he did graduate work leading to the degree of doctor in Canon Law. On April 20, 1944, the monsignor was appointed pastor at Sauk Centre. During his pastorate the parish saw many improvements including renovation of the convent and the construction of a new grade school. In recognition of his service to the diocese, the late Pope, Pius XII conferred on Msgr. Kremer the honor of a domestic prelate in December 1954. He was invested in the robes of a Rt. Rev Monsignor by Bishop Bartholome in Sauk Centre April 19, 1955. Besides his pastoral duties, Msgr. Kremer held several diocesan positions. He had been diocesan officialis, secretary to the board of diocesan consultors, Secretary-treasurer of the St. Cloud Children's Home Board of Directors, Censor Librorum, and director of the Catholic University of America. Burial will be in the Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud.
