DODGEVILLE - Mr. John A. Korback, age 69, of Dodgeville died Sunday, November 20 at home after a long illness. Mr. Korback was born near Dodgeville, March 24, 1908. He was married to the former, Ann Sablak on September 5, 1939. They farmed in the Dodgevile area from time of their marriage until 1965, when they moved to the city. He was a member of St Joseph Catholic church in Dodgeville, the Catholic Order of Foresters and the Holy Name Society. He is survived by his wife Ann; one brother, Franks of Fennimore, one sister, Mrs. Wilbur (Mary) Richards of Boca Raton, Florida; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 25 at 11 a.m. in ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC church, Dodgeville. Reverend Henry N. Kalscheur will officiate. Burial in St. Joseph cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday at the LULLOFF-PETERSON FUNERAL HOME Dodgeville, where the parish rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m.

DODGEVILLE/PRAIRIE DU CHIEN - Mr. Frank N. Korback, age 70, of Praire du Chien, died on Monday, January 28, 1980 in a Praire du Chien nursing home, after a long illness. He was in Dodgeville township on June 19, 1909 and married the former Mary Reger in 1934. They had lived the Dodgeville area until 1949, when they moved to the Fennimore area. They retired to Prairie du Chien in September of 1979. Mr. Korback was a retired farmer, Insurance Agent and a Real Estate Appraiser. Survivors are his wife, Mary; two sons, Gene of Beloit, Don of Prairie du Chien, two daughters Mrs Jack (Lorie) Fizsimmons of Chicago, Christine of Monroe; a sister and brother-in-law, Wilbur and Mary Richards of Boca Raton, Florida; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Ann Korback of Dodgeville; and seven grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 31, at 11 a.m., at ST JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Dodgeville. Reverends Henry Kalscheur and Lawrence Korback with officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Friends may come Wednesday, from 3 to 9 p.m. at LULLOFF-PETERSON FUNERAL HOME, Dodgeville, where a rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m.
