    Obituary:
    Edith E. (Bruecker) Nytes, 96, Kaukauna, passed away peacefully Friday, Aug. 27, 2010. She was born Feb. 20, 1914, in Dundas, Wis., to the late John and Mary (Huss) Bruecker. On May 30, 1939 Edith married Aloysius A. Nytes and they celebrated 63 years of marriage together before Aloys passed away on July 2, 2002.
    She spent 67 years on the family farm where she and Aloys raised their five children. Edith loved playing the piano and spent many years singing in the St. Paul Martha Choir. She was a long time member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Wrightstown.
    Survivors include her five children, Allan (Bernice) Nytes, Mackville; Robert Nytes, Chicago; Jerry (Joan) Nytes, Kaukauna; John (Sandee) Nytes, Appleton; and Mary Ann (Tom) Nettekoven, Kaukauna; 11 grandchildren, Sheila (Tony) Grossman, Lynn (Mark) Schwalbach, Karen (Jon) Hendricks, Dan (Shelly) Nytes, Andrew Wellens, Lisa (Joel) Janssen, Penni (Mark) Kramer, Laurie (Steve) Friday, Kathy Kierszh, Janine Nytes, and Tim Nettekoven; 14 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Clara Rademacher, Hollandtown.
    She was preceded in death by her husband Aloysius; her parents; grandson, Chad Nettekoven; four brothers, George (Ceil), Raymond, William (Emma), and Arthur (Janet); and eight sisters: Gertrude (Henry) Haen, Min (Joseph) Schneider, Julitta (Paul) Bosch, Olga (Bernard) Brochtrup, Ann Bruecker, Rose (Elmer) Broeren, Lucina (Sylvan) Bodoh, and Alvira Bruecker.
    Family and friends may call on Monday, Aug. 30, 2010, at St. Clare Parish/St. Paul Site, 437 Main Street, Wrightstown from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the church on Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dennis Bergsbaken officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Catholic Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed to Edith's family at www.cotterfuneral home.com
