    Obituary:
    Norbert J. Leitermann, 94, Little Chute, passed away peacefully with his family by his side Saturday, October 13, 2012. Norbert was born July 15, 1918 in Antigo, son of the late John and Rose (Hermann) Leitermann. On December 27, 1945, Norbert married Jean Vandenberg at St. John's Catholic Church in Little Chute. She preceded him in death on December 6, 2009. Together they enjoyed square dancing and playing cards. Norbert also enjoyed ice fishing and repairing small engines. Norbert was a long time member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, the Catholic Order of Foresters, and the St. John Cemetery Committee. He proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII in the South Pacific.
    Norbert is survived by his sons: David (Mary) Leitermann, Appleton; Marc Leitermann, Little Chute; John (Linda) Leitermann, Springfield, IL; a daughter Jo (Gregg) Friedmann, Boulder, CO; grandchildren: Michael (Jayme) Leitermann and their daughter Brianna; Peter (Tara) Leitermann and their children Rose, Lydia and Patrick; Katie (Josh) Verstegen and their children Joshua, Hannah and Olivia; Sarah (Greg) Ulman; and Joseph Leitermann; a sister, Rita; sisters-in-law: Martha, Helen, Mary and Yvonne; a brother-in-law, Roy (Sharee) Vandenberg; and many other family members and friends.
    Norbert was preceded in death by his wife, Jean; a daughter-in-law, Patty; a granddaughter, Anna; and 8 brothers and sisters.
    Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 323 S. Pine St., Little Chute, with Msgr. James VandenHogen officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the church from 2:00 p.m. Tuesday until the time of the mass. Full military honors will be conducted by the Jacob Coppus American Legion Post 258 Little Chute, immediately following the mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts will be distributed to charities.
    The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff and volunteers of St. Paul Villa, Home and Hospice.

    Leitermann, Anna M.Anna M. Leitermann, of Appleton, age 17, died unexpectedly Friday, July 1 6, 2004 as the result of an automobile accident. She was born the daught er of David and Mary (Jansky) Leitermann on June 25, 1987 in Appleton.Anna was a fun-filled young woman with a zest for life. She had a smile f or everyone and touched many with her kindness, at home, school, and wor k. Her sunny personality would brighten any room. Her days were filled wi th her love of singing and dancing, which included cheerleading, choir, a nd Christmas Stars. She will be sadly missed by all the people her life h as touched.She will be sadly missed by her parents, David and Mary; brothers and sist ers: Michael (Jayme) Leitermann of Oshkosh; Peter (Tara) Leitermann of Lit tle Chute; Kathryn (Joshua) Verstegen of Appleton; and Sarah Leiterma nn of Appleton; maternal grandparents, Louis and Florence Jansky of Applet on; paternal grandparents, Norbert and Jean Leitermann of Little Chute; au nts and uncles: Louis Jansky; Robert (Sue) Jansky; John (Shelley) Jansk y; Thomas (Brenda) Jansky; Joseph (Traci) Jansky; Marc Leitermann; John (L inda) Leitermann; and Jo (Gregg) Friedman. She is further survived by t wo nieces: Rose Leitermann and Kaylie Taplick; numerous cousins, other rel atives, and many friends.Mass of Christian Burial will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at S t. Pius X Catholic Church, 500 W. Marquette St., with Father Don Zuleger o fficiating. Visitation will be from 3 p.m.until the time of mass at the ch urch. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. A memorial wi ll be established.Her love lives on in the lives she touched, with her gentle, caring wa y, in the words she spoke,
    in the hearts she warmed, in the joy she brought each day.
