Green, Karen J.
Karen J. Green, age 58, of Little Chute, died Wednesday April 21, 20 04 at home. She was born August 19, 1945 to Arthur H. and Dorothy (Cour t) Van Handel in Appleton, WI. She married Roger Green on September 11, 19 65 in Appleton. Karen enjoyed traveling and playing golf, especially at t he Irish Waters Golf Course. She loved her grandchildren and cherished t he time she spent with them.
She is survived by her husband, Roger; her four children: Jeff (Sara) Gre en and their son, Justin, Rick (Pam Green and their two children, Mariah a nd Zach, Jay (Jane) Green and their three children, Jacob, Josh and Jeb, a nd Missy (Mark) Leurquin and their three children, Kayla, Tyler and Mega n. She will also be missed by her father, Arthur Van Handel, a sister, Dar lene (Don) Lopas, a brother, Richard (Donna) Van Handel, a sister in la w, Charlotte (Pat) Schommer, a brother in law, Norman (Sandy) Green, numer ous nieces and nephews and a special family friend, Glen (Cheri) Sprangers .
Her mother, Dorothy and her mother and father-in-law, William and Lorrai ne Green preceded her in death.
The funeral service will be 5 p.m. on Friday April 23, at ST. JOHN CATHOL IC CHURCH, 323 Pine Street, Little Chute with MSGR. James Vanden Hogan off iciating. Friends will be received on Friday at Church from 2 p.m. until t he time of service. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Par k. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established. The Boettcher Fami ly Funeral Home, Kaukauna is assisting the family. 766-2099.
