    Kenneth L. Van Dehy, Sr., Kaukauna, age 87, born to eternal life on Monday, November 21, 2011 at Appleton Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born on May 17, 1924 to the late Martin and Esther (Lang) Van Dehy. On August 30, 1947 Kenneth was united in marriage to the former Betty Hammes at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Milwaukee and together they celebrated 63 years of marriage. Ken was an US Navy Veteran serving during WWII and a member of The Jacob Coppus Post #258 in Little Chute. He was employed by Kimberly-Clark for many years until his retirement. Ken was proud to have raised his children on the family farm in Hollandtown. He especially enjoyed the time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ken would also enjoy a good day on the lake musky fishing. He enjoyed watching a relaxing game of football on the weekends and checking his numbers at the end of each quarter. Cribbage would pass the hours away when family would come.
    He is survived by his five children: Diane (Randy) Jarvis, Ed (Joan), Patty (Paul) Vande Voort, Jeff (Karen), and Guy (Laura); his grandchildren: Heather, Mark (Carrie), Rick (Jody), Jenny, Sarah, Jim, Sharon, Sally (Bob), Spencer (Vicky), Shaun, Samantha, Philip (Jane), Preston, Patrick (Sara), Parker, Porter, Ben (Marissa), Theo, Tim, Will, Zeke, Corey, Theresa (Dustin), and Tony; his great-grandchildren: Michael, Sasha, Nadia, Shelby, Blake, Eddie, Adiah, Andrew, Grace, Ashlyn, and Eli. He is further survived by a sister, Gerri Zierler; his in-laws: Joyce Stolga, Glenna (Ken) Kahl, Jerry Hammes, Paul Hammes, Marie Van Dehy, Dorie Hammes, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
    He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Betty, his parents, two daughters: Kathy and Janet, a son Kenneth L. Van Dehy, Jr., a grandson, Parry Vande Voort; brothers and sisters: Bud (Esther) Van Dehy, Vern (Gladys) Van Dehy, Josephine (Clarence) Kamps, Margaret (Jerome) Seaver, Marion (Bob) Van Handel, Martin Van Dehy, Jr., Jean Hildebrand, and Verlon Zierler; three brothers-in-law: Erv Hammes, George Hammes, Al (Laurie) Hammes; two sisters-in-law: Francie (Joe) Dirksmeyer and Nola Hammes.
    The Mass of Christian Burial for Kenneth will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 25, 2011 at St. Katharine Drexel Parish at ST. FRANCIS CHURCH, 433 County Rd CE, Hollandtown with Fr. Jerry Pastors celebrating. Full Military Rites by The Jacob Coppus Post #258 of Little Chute will follow the mass. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery in Little Chute at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
