She was born January 1, 1874 in Vandenbro ek where she was a resident until moving to Little Chute in 1948. She w as a member of St.Elizabeth Society of St. John's Catholic Church. Survivo rs include five daughters; Mrs. William (Mary) Van Derra, Hollandtown, Mr s. Chris (Rose) Hogan, Moline, Ill., Mrs. George (Hattie) Fox, Miss Franc is Weyenberg, Little Chute. One daughter, Mrs. Peter (Ann) Dercks, preced ed her in death in 1956. Marriage Notes for George Weyenberg and Marie Dercks from the Kaukauna Tim es, May 25, 1922, Little Chute SectionOn Monday morning at 8 o'clock at St.John's Catholic Church Miss Marie Der icks, daughter of Mr.and Mrs.Nick Dericks of the Town of Vandenbroek, beca me the bride of George T.Weyenberg, son of Mr. and Mrs.Theodore Weyener g, also of Vandenbroek. The Rev.J.Sprangers officiated. The attendents we re Miss Rose Weyenberg, a sister of the groom, and Willard Van Den Heuve l, cousin of the bride. The bride was gowned in a pretty white Canton cre pe dress with a veil and carried a bouquet of roses. The bridesmaid was go wned in a pretty pink crepe gown and carried a bouquet of pink carnatio ns. About 100 couples were present and a delicious wedding dinner and sup per was served. In the evening a barn cance was indulged in and young a nd old enjoyed themselves.

He was employed at the Kimberly Clark Corp. Kimberly un til his retirement. He was a member of the Holy Name Society, a memb er of the Jacob's Coppus Legion Post #258 a member of the Golden Agergs a nd a member of the Quarter Century Club. He was a World War I Veteran. Sur vivors are his wife, Clara (Dercks) Weyenberg, four daughters, Mrs.Ervin ( Jane) Van Dyke, Mrs.Donald (Dolores) De Groot, both of Little Chute, Mrs .Joseph (Angelia) Van Bakel, Amarillo, Texas, Mrs. Morris (Rita) Powell, N avarino, two sons Mark and Thomas, both of Little Chute, two brothers Matt hew Rt.1, Kaukauna, Henry, Larsen, five sisters, Mrs.William (Mary) VanDer a, Hollandtown, Mrs.Clem (Dora) Hogen, Moline, Ill., Mrs.Chris (Rose) Vand enHeuvel, Appleton, Mrs. George (Nellie) Fox, Little Chute, Miss Francis W eyenberg, Kimberly 20 grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.

She enjoyed playing sheepshead, crochetin g, cooking and helping on the family farm. Weyenberg, Matthew T., To wn of VandenbroekAge 96, passed away at his home on Wednesday, October 22, 2003. He was bo rn in the Town of Vandenbroek on December 20, 1906; son of the late Theodo re and Georgiana (Jansen) Weyenberg. On September 16, 1936 he married Loui se Seegers in Darboy. She preceded him in death in 1946. He then married V irginia Kortz on November 27, 1948. They enjoyed over 50 years together a nd celebrated their golden anniversary in 1998. Matt worked at Thilmany Pu lp and Paper for seventeen years. He then operated a dairy farm in the To wn of Vandenbroek until his retirement in 1961. When he first operated t he farm he raised bees and made his own honey. Following his retiremen t, he continued living at the farm. Henry Weyenberg, age 98, Little Chute, passed away peacefully Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012, at Parkside Care Center, surrounded by his loving family. Hank was born March15, 1914, in the Town of VandenBroek, son of the late Theodore and Georgianna (Jansen) Weyenberg. He married Florence (Bloy) Weyenberg on April 25, 1936, sharing 63 years of marriage until her death in December 1999. Their only son Roman A. Weyenberg also preceded Hank in death on August 6, 2006. Hank was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute. He was employed by Kimberly Clark Corp. as a painter and in field service until his retirement in 1977. Hank enjoyed many years of retirement building his home in Little Chute using the many trades he learned throughout the years and sharing those talents with family and friends. Grandpa will be remembered for playing volleyball, marble game, sheepshead and swimming at their home on Lake Poygan. All of us will cherish the memories made annually at his birthday celebration at Van Abels in Hollandtown. We will miss our Grandpa!
Survivors include his seven grandchildren: Ken (Wendy) Weyenberg, Ted (Cindy) Weyenberg, Roman Weyenberg Jr., Sandy (Don) Miller, Gary Weyenberg, Terry Cotter, Sally Holzwarth; 14 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, daughter-in-law, Jean (Hooyman) Weyenberg; sisters-in-law: Mabel DeGraves and Margaret Gresel; brothers- in-law: Leonard (Shirley) Bloy and Adolph (Charlotte) Bloy Jr.; many nieces and nephews and special godchildren.
Along with his wife and son, Hank was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Shirley (Stadler) Weyenberg, brothers and sisters: Mary Weyenberg, George Weyenberg, Ann (Weyenberg) Dercks, Mary II (Weyenberg) Van Dera, Rose (Weyenberg) VandenHeuvel, Gertrude Weyenberg, Matthew Weyenberg, Dora (Weyenberg) Hogan, Hattie (Weyenberg) Fox and Frances Weyenberg.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 12, 2012, at St. John Catholic Church, 323 S. Pine Street, Little Chute, with Fr. Jim Hablewitz officiating. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of the mass.
A memorial has been established in Henry's name.
The family would like to thank Hank's dear friends Jeff and Diane VanAsten, Betty Wydeven, Alice Mignon, Katie Kuepper and John Gloudemans for their countless visits and time spent with him. Van Dyke, Jane F.Jane F. Van Dyke, of Little Chute, age 82, died Tuesday, April 26, 200 5, at her residence with her family at her side. She was born in Little Ch ute on July 24, 1922, daughter of George and Marie (Dercks) Weyenberg. S he graduated from St. John High School in 1940. On August 31, 1946, Jane m arried the love of her life, Ervin Van Dyke at St. John Nepomucene Cathol ic Church, where she was a lifetime member. Jane was a loving wife, cari ng mother, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed by everyone w ho knew her. She enjoyed golf, bridge, reading and cross-stitch. Jane w as a legal secretary for G.H. Van Hoof, Little Chute attorney. During Wor ld War II, when Gerry went into the service, she worked for Judge Jol in at the Outagamie Courthouse in Appleton. When Gerry returned from servi ce, Jane went back to his law firm until her children were born. She retur ned to the legal profession for a brief time, working for the District Att orney in Outagamie County. When her children were older, she worked for t he Village of Little Chute as Deputy Clerk. She retired from this positi on in 1985.She is a 58-year member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #436, Wright stown, where she served as president of the unit in 1949 and 1950. Weyenberg, age 80, of Little Chute passed away Friday, May 20, 200 5, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton He was born August 22, 1924, s on of George and Marie (Dercks) Weyenberg in Little Chute. He graduated fr om St. John High School, Little Chute. Mark married Rosemary Wiegand, Augu st 31, 1946, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute. Mark w as a United States Marine serving in the Pacific during WWII. Mark was a 6 0-year member of the Jacob Coppus Post #258 of Little Chute.He worked f or 38 years at Hewitt Transmission Company retiring in 1987.The most important part of our Dad's life was his 58-year love affair wi th our Mom and raising, caring for and cherishing the five of us. Wh en we think of our Dad, as we were growing up, we think of his streng th as our provider and protector. As we grew into maturity he continu ed to provide for and protect our Mom who had Alzheimer's disease. He w as truly an inspiration to all of us. Clarence C. "Cunny" Dercks, a lifelong resident of Little Chute, age 84, was peacefully received into the arms of Jesus on Monday May 23, 2011, at Theda Clark Medical Center with his family at his side.
He was born in Little Chute on November 14, 1926, to the late Peter and Ann (Weyenberg) Dercks. He was a 1944 graduate of St. John's High School. Cunny proudly served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He was a 65-year member of the Jacob Coppus American Legion Post 258, was a loyal member of the Firing Squad since his retirement and has been the Commander of the squad for the past several years. He took great pride in his role as Commander and touched countless families with compassion in their time of loss. It was his passion to serve his fellow Veterans. He was thrilled to participate in the first Old Glory Honor Flight to Washington D.C. out of the Fox Valley on October 27, 2009, to visit the World War II Memorial. Clarence married the love of his life, Betty Van Roy on October 4, 1952. She preceded him in death May 17, 2005. While working at his job at Kimberly Clark, he also served as Machinist Union President for many years. In addition, he started his own business, Dercks Radio and TV out of his home. After his retirement in 1986 from Kim-tech, he and his wife became snowbirds, wintering with family and friends in Orange Beach, AL. Cunny loved time spent outdoors, including time spent with his family at his cottage on Arbutus Lake.
Clarence is survived by his children: Lilly Warnke, Little Chute; Pete (Karen), Pickerel; Jim (Pat) Appleton; Nancy (Mike) Wydeven, Kaukauna; Barb (Dan) School, Darboy; and Don (Heidi), Vandenbroek; grandchildren: Scott (Kim) and Adam Warnke, Chris (Amber), Andy (Heidi), Matt (Jenni), Ben (fiancee Erin), Beth, Jimmy, Jessi, Holly and Jeremy Dercks;, Michael, Kevin and Elise De Bruin, Amanda Wydeven, Lance School, Lindsey (Craig) Romenesko, great-granddaughters: Alexandria, Makayla, Faith and Emma, and was looking forward to the arrival of his first great-grandson in July; brother and sister: Mark (Bernice) and Betty (James) Peerenboom; and sisters and brother-in-law: Rita Dercks, Harold Vandenberg and Rita Van Roy. Mark J. "Gus" Dercks, Appleton, age 86, died peacefully Monday August 10, 2015 at Rennes Health and Rehab Center in Appleton. He was born in Little Chute on November 10, 1928 to the late Peter and Anna (Weyenberg) Dercks. Gus married Bernice Hopfensperger at Holy Cross Parish in Kaukauna on September 7, 1948. Gus was a lifelong and active member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Little Chute, where he was an usher and mass server. He was also a member and past president of the St. John Athletic Association. For work, Gus took great pride in managing the Auto Center at Sears and retired after 37 years of service.
In addition to being a man of strong faith and work ethic, Gus loved people. He truly appreciated spending time with family and friends as well as meeting new people. He enjoyed bowling, fishing (and teaching his grandchildren to fish), playing Sheepshead and visiting the family cottage on Shawano Lake. No matter where he was or who he was with, Gus was always willing to talk or watch his sports! Gus was an avid fan of the Packers, Brewers, Bucks and Badgers - even telling nurses during his final days how he was at the Ice Bowl. We know heaven he'll be cheering "Go Pack Go." Gus was a man of many great stories, each one a memory his family will treasure.
Finally, Gus expressed an unconditional love for his wife of 66 years, Bernice. His respect, commitment and compassion for her was unwavering and a positive model to his children and many others.

Henry A. Van Dera, age 87, of Kaukauna, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2009, at Stanford Hospital, California with his family at his side. Henry was born July 2, 1921, and grew up in Hollandtown. He is the son of the late William and Mary (Weyenberg) Van Dera. After serving in the US Army in World War II, he married Blanche Van Den Heuvel on June 7, 1945. They made their home in Kimberly. In 1954, they moved to the farm where his wife had grown up and farmed until 1970. Henry also worked in the paper mill where he retired in July 1978 after 35 years. For retirement Henry and his wife moved to Kaukauna for the summer months and enjoyed the winter months in California. Henry was a member of St. Aloysius Parish. He was also a member of the American Legion for 65 years, and the Knights of Columbus for 66 years. His favorite retirement pastime was playing sheepshead.

Theodore J. "The Cat" "Ted" Van Dera, formally of St. John, 84, died peacefully at Parkside Care Center, Little Chute, with his wife and daughter at his side, on Dec. 24, 2006, following a lengthy illness of Parkinson and Alzheimer's. He was born Sept. 21, 1922, in Outagamie County, son of the late William and Mary (Weyenberg) Van Dera. On May 2, 1944, he married Jean Vandenberg at St. Peter and Paul Church in Wrightstown. Ted worked for Oscar Bolt Construction for many years. He retired from Lunda Construction after many years of building bridges throughout Wisc. and Minn. Ted was a member of the Wisc. Carpenters and Laborer's Unions. He and his wife Jean also owned and operated Ted and Jean's Bar in St. John, for 34 years. Ted enjoyed the northwoods as well as crafting wood and working with his hands. The couple moved to the northwoods on Boundary Lake after Ted's retirement and returned to Kaukauna in 1999.
Ted will be deeply missed by his wife, Jean of 62 years; a daughter, Pamela Van Dera, New Holstein; a son, Ted Jr. (Jean) Van Dera; three grandchildren, Jason, Justin, and Amanda; a great-grandson on the way; a sister, Loretta Nackers, Kaukauna; brothers, Henry (Blanche) Van Dera, Kaukauna; Peter Van Dera, Appleton; sister-in-law, June van Dera, Appleton. Peter Van Dera, age 89, of Freedom, passed away at the Jack and Engrid Meng Unity Hospice in De Pere on Sunday, May 26, 2013 with his family by his side. He was born on May 10, 1924 in the Town of Vandenbroek, the son of the late William and Mary (Weyenberg) Van Dera. Peter served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. On November 25, 1948, Peter married Elaine Hietpas at St. John Catholic Church in Little Chute. She preceded him in death on April 15, 1976. He worked over 40 years at the Kimberly Mill, retiring in 1989. Peter was a Charter member of the Fox River Beagle Club, and loved square dancing, and polkas. He proudly attended the Stars and Stripes Veterans Honor Flight to Washington D.C. in July of 2012. Many knew him as a very outgoing man, who always had a good joke to share that made everyone laugh. He always said, "If you don't make your own fun, you're not going to have any."

The funeral liturgy for Peter will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Freedom. Fr. Dan Felton will be officiating. Interment will take place at St. John Catholic Cemetery in Little Chute. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday at the church from 10:00 am until the time of mass. She was born March 3, 1927, in Hollandtown, daughter of the late William and Mary (Weyenberg) Van Dera. At the age of 85, she retired from Building Services Group where she was employed for many years cleaning in the Kaukauna School System. She was an active member with St. Katharine Drexel Parish at St. Aloysius Catholic Church of Kaukauna.

Romie was born on May 30, 1936, in the Town of VandenBro ek to Henry and Florence (Bloy) Weyenberg. Romie was a member of Holy Cro ss Church in Kaukauna. He served in the military as a Naval Reservist. Rom ie made many close friends in his 40 years in the paper industry at Ast en Forming Fabrics (Wisconsin Wire Works), retiring in 1995. After some ye ars in plant production, he found his niche in sales where he worked build ing many relationships.Many will remember the fun get-togethers over the years he and Shirley hos ted. Romie had a natural gift for making friends everywhere he went with h is engaging sense of humor. He had a great love of cars, fishing, boatin g, golf and playing spider solitaire on the computer. Daniel John Van Dyke, Little Chute, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. He was born on October 23, 1947, in Appleton to the late Ervin and Jane (Weyenberg) Van Dyke. He graduated from Little Chute High School in 1965, and attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh until he was drafted into the Army. He served in the US Army from 1967-1969 during the Vietnam War. Dan enjoyed golfing and playing cribbage with his friends as well as reading, cooking, and baking.
Dan is survived by his children: Andrea (Jade) Olson of Buffalo Grove, IL, Vicki (Kevin) Quinn of Green Bay, and Bridget (Lee) Busse of Green Bay; grandchildren: Walker Olson, Cooper Olson, Savannah Olson, Gavin Quinn, and Teagan Quinn; sister: Barbara (Mark) Mollen and nephews: Jason (Sheila) Mollen, Matthew (Trisha) Mollen, and Benjamin Mollen. He is further survived by his former wife, Gail (Nick) Brittnacher, and many close cousins and friends.

She married the love of her life Thomas Spoehr on May 3, 1975 together they celebrated 42 years together. She loved to play bingo, spending time up at the cottage on Legend Lake, being with her dog Roxie, but most of all spending time with her family and friends.

Clyde "Clydeee" Van Dera, Freedom, age 51, died unexpectedly on Sunday, February 11, 2007, at his home. He was born in Appleton on July 18, 1955, the son of Peter Van Dera of Freedom and the late Elaine (Hietpas) Van Dera. On September 11, 1980, he married the former Mary Kamps in Combined Locks. For over twenty years, he had been employed as a rural mail carrier for the Appleton Post Office. Clyde was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed his annual hunting and fishing trips to his cabin in Crandon as well as snowmobiling and motorcycling. Clyde was a Master Mason of the Manawa Lodge and was also a Noble of the Beja Shrine in Green Bay. In addition, he raised pheasants and chickens at his game farm. He was always able to fix just about anything that someone else (or he) broke and was always willing to lend a hand when needed. He also enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and his trusty sidekick T-Bone. Clyde will be remembered as a caring and generous man who constantly placed the needs of others before those of his own. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Van Dera, Freedom; three children: Jeremy Van Dera, Freedom; Jenna Van Dera, Madison; and Jesse Van Dera, Freedom, and his special friend Carrie Van Asten; his father, Peter Van Dera, Freedom, and his special friend Glenna; and adopted "grandparents" Russ and Beata Huss. Clyde also leaves behind six brothers and sisters: Carl (Vicki) Van Dera, Freedom and their children Carl, Craig, and Kristy; Diane (Mark) Romenesko, Kaukauna, and their children Dana, Dawn (Mike) Halverson, and Liz; Gary "Butch" (Geneva) Van Dera, Wrightstown, and their children Adam, Lee, and Brad; Steve (Gail) Van Dera, Freedom, and their children Melissa (Jim) Marvin and Nick; Nancy (Scott) Bornemann, Kaukauna, and their children Derek and Brittany; and Cheryl (Todd) Poellet, of De Pere, and their children Ben and Nathan. Clyde is further survived by a former sister-in-law Kay Van Dera, Kaukauna, as well as many other relatives and friends.
Clyde was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine, in 1976 and Mary's parents Clarence Kamps in 1976 and Josephine Kamps in 1994.

Danielle C. Vandenberg, Kaukauna, age 39, died unexpectedly after a long battle with health issues on Monday, November 13, 2017. She was born in Kaukauna on March 18, 1978, the daughter of Paul and Pam (Willemsen) Vandenberg. Danielle enjoyed her job at Jack's Pizza. She liked to shop, both in stores and on-line. Her favorite purchases were shoes and purses. Danielle also enjoyed eating out, cocktails and wine, going up north and watching the Hallmark Channel. She had a knack for electronics and her family relied on these skills. Danielle was happiest when she was with her family - whether it was going on vacation, sister time or doting on her niece and nephews, she loved it all. She treasured her dog and cat, Penny and Piglet.
Danielle is survived by her parents, Paul and Pam of Little Chute; sisters: Vicky (John) Dougherty, Sally (James) Salber and Wendy (fiancé Sean Wiese) Vandenberg; nephews and niece: Joshua, Tessa, Paul, Clayton and Colin; aunts and uncles: Judy (Bill) Verhagen, Jo (Cliff) Verstegen, Mary (Steve) Mischler, Pete (Marilynn) Willemsen, Bridgette Froland, Christy Mader, Pam Willemsen, Thad (Lori) Willemsen, Matt (Chieko) Willemsen and Tom (Karen) Willemsen. She is further survived by many cousins, other relatives and friends.
Danielle was preceded in death by her grandparents: Harold and Marie Vandenberg and Harold and Ethel Willemsen; nephew Corbin; and uncles, Dave Froland and Andrew Willemsen.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 17, 2017 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 Pine St. Little Chute) beginning at 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:30 a.m. The Rev.
