Obituary:
Bernice Bushman, 83, Appleton, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Sunday, September 5, 2010, at Cherry Meadows Hospice. She was born on December 23, 1926, in Appleton, the daughter of the late George and Hulda (Hameister) Wolff.
On June 5, 1948, Bernice married John Bushman at St. Therese Catholic Church in Appleton. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Bernice was a caring person and her family meant the world to her.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, John A. Bushman, Appleton; eight children, RoseAnn Bushman, Appleton; David (Sandy) Bushman, Appleton; Jerry (Jean) Bushman, Appleton; Linda (Gordon) Craig, Omro; Bruce (Carol) Bushman, Navarino; Susan Burton, Clintonville; Bonnie (Markus) Wittman, Appleton; and Janet Jahnke, Appleton; 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; brother, Alvin (Sharon) Wolff, Appleton; brothers-in-law, James (Emogene), Don (Harriet), Joe (Carol) and Clem Bushman; sisters-in-law, Virginia Hoerning and Kathryn Johnson. Bernice is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Emil, Elmer, Doris and Irma; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Monica VanderVelden, Sylvester Bushman, MaryAnn LaChapel and Eugene Bushman.
The funeral liturgy for Bernice will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 9, 2010, at SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH, 222 E. Fremont Street, Appleton. Interment will take place at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Appleton. A time of visitation and support will be held on Wednesday at the Wichmann Funeral Home Tri-County Chapel from 4 to 8 p.m., when a prayer service will take place. Visitation will also be held at the church on Thursday from 10 to 10:45 a.m.
A very special thank you to her granddaughters, Heather, Sarah, Stacy, Beth and Wendi, for their extra special care, and the staff of ThedaCare at Home Hospice and Cherry Meadows Hospice.

Obituary:
Bruce A. Bushman, age 56, of Navarino, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 3, 2016. He was born on April 15, 1959 in Appleton to the late John and Bernice Bushman. Bruce was employed with Miller Electric for 38 years and volunteered 14 years of his time to the Navarino-Lessor Fire Department and EMS. He thoroughly enjoyed hunting, being up north and time with his grandson. He was very well known for helping others.
Bruce will be sadly missed by his wife of 33 years, Carol, children: Timothy (Jennifer) Lemke of Neenah; Kristin Bushman of Green Bay; Jonathan (Jamie) Bushman of Wauwatosa, brothers: David and Jerry Bushman, sisters Rosie, Linda, Susan, Bonnie and Janet, and one handsome grandson Dane as well as other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A gathering to celebrate Bruce's life will be held at Wichmann Funeral Homes, Tri County Location on Monday, March 7, 2016 from 10:30am to 1:30pm. There will be a brief service at 1:30pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.
The gathering will resume at 5:00pm at the Navarino-Lessor Fire Department, Hwy 156 in Navarino.
