    Pairon, La Vern J."Ja ck"La Vern J. Pairon, "Jack," Kaukauna, age 65, passed away at home unexpecte dly on Tuesday, August 15, 2006. He was born in Appleton on May 28, 194 1, the son of the late Paul and Angeline (Vandenberg) Pairon. After high s chool he served in the United States Army, spending much of his servi ce in Alaska. On May 2, 1966, he married Joan Kramer in Reno, NV. Jack w as employed at Thilmany for 26 years, retiring in 1993.He was an avid sports fan, enjoying the New York Yankees, Boston Red So x, Green Bay Packers, the Badgers, and especially watching his granddaught er, Brittany, compete in Tae Kwon Do tournaments. He will always be rememb ered for wearing the caps of his favorite teams.Jack is survived by his wife of 40 years, Joan; daughter, Sherry Jens en of Kaukauna; grandchildren: Brittany (special friend, Shawn Schatzke) P airon; Cody Jensen and Chelsey Jensen, all of Kaukauna; great-grandchil d, Faith Schatzke; brother, Dan (Pat) Pairon of Milwaukee; sister, Pauli ne (Larry) Henry and their children, Lauren (Michael) Knight and Mariam He nry, all of Anderson, SC; and his little dog, Peaches.
    Numerous in-laws preceded him in death.The funeral service will be at 12 p.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2006, at t he Fargo Funeral Home, 400 W. Wisconsin Ave., Kaukauna, with Mary Carrive au officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday f rom 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Holy Name Cem etery, Kimberly.The family extends a special thank you to the outstanding medical staff th at cared for Jack at Appleton Medical Center.
