Obituary:
Leo Goetzman, 53, Beloit, died in Beloit at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday after an illness of one year. He was born Sept. 17, 1906, in Kaukauna, and was a truck driver for the Freeman Shoe company, Beloit. He was a brother of the late Cletus Goetzman, former editor of the Kaukauna Times.
Funeral services will be at Greenwood Funeral home, Kaukauna, at 10 a.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Peter Salm, pastor of St. Mary Catholic church, Kaukauna, in charge. Burial will be in the St. Mary cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 8 a.m. Thursday.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Goetzman, Kaukauna; two sons, Lavern and Norbert, both of Beloit; two sisters, Mrs. John Ditter and Mrs. Irvin Hopfensperger, both of Kaukauna; and six grandchildren.
