Obituary:
Robert J. Hoes, 66, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2013. He was born on October 11, 1947 to the late Albin and Catherine (Ebben) Hoes. Bob served in the Vietnam War where he was awarded the Military Merit Medal. In the Army he received specialized electronics training working on Cryptographic equipment. He recently retired after working 22 years for Miller Electric. Bob enjoyed researching genealogy, history, geography, and many other subjects. He liked playing trivia, and often won, due to his extensive general knowledge. Bob was also known for his gruff and dry sense of humor. Bob is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda (Olson), his son Aaron (Kileen) Hoes, daughter Angela (Matt) Schilcher, siblings Carl (Jean), Rick (Joyce), and Mary, his cousins and other extended family members. Visitation for Bob will be held on Tuesday, December 10th at Pilgrim Lutheran Church 1731 St. Agnes Dr., Green Bay from 9:00 am until 10:45 am with a service to follow at 11:00 am.
