    Catherine "Katie" M. Haen, 96, Wrightstown, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010. She was born Feb. 15, 1914, in De Pere, daughter to the late John and Louisa (Titulaer) Coenen. She married Peter Haen on May 10, 1939, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in De Pere, and he preceded her in death in 1995. She was a longtime member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Wrightstown, where she was active in the Ladies Society, Golden Agers, and also belonged to the Green Bay Square Dance Club, and was a volunteer driver for the Commission on Aging. Catherine liked gambling, playing cards, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.
    She will be dearly missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Louise and Mike Geurts, De Pere; two grandchildren, Doug Geurts, De Pere; and Michelle (Todd) West, Suamico; three great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jeremy, and Mitchell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    Catherine was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four sisters, Esther (Corneil) Peeters, Agnes (Robert) Hannon, Helen (Larry) Rentmeester, and Dorothy Coenen; two special Godchildren, Larry Peeters and Bruce Rentmeester.
    Family and friends may call Wednesday, June 16, 2010, from 9 a.m. until the hour of Mass at St. Clare Parish-St. Paul Site, Wrightstown. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at church, with Fr. Dennis Bergsbaken officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. DeWane-Cotter Funeral Home, Wrightstown, is handling arrangements.     Helen Elizabeth (Coenen) Rentmeester, 83, Allouez, died peacefully Thursda y, Feb. 12, 2004, at Bishop's Court. Helen was born Jan. 5, 1921, in Rockl and to the late John W. and Louise (Titulaer) Coenen. Helen devoted her li fe to her God, her husband and her family. Her words of kindness and w ay of gentleness granted much serenity and stability to her family in go od times and in bad. She was a rock on which her children, grandchildre n, friends and extended family came to depend when they needed advice, she lter or prayer. Even those who knew her only in her final months came to a ppreciate her gentle ways. At the end, she died as she lived; quietly, gen tly and peacefully. Helen was a long-time, active member of St. Mary of t he Angels Parish.Survivors include her beloved husband of 58 years, Lawrence; five sons a nd two daughters, Ken (Ruth Robinson) Rentmeester of Middleton; Greg (Lyn n) Rentmeester of Green Bay; Bruce (Vicki) Rentmeester of Homer, AK; Jo hn Rentmeester, Jane Rentmeester, and Roy (Gwen) Rentmeester, all of Gre en Bay; and Kaye (Steve) Schneider of Ledgeview; 14 grandchildren (Bret t, Brody, Desire, Kurt, Kyle, Kory, Ryan, Caitlin, Carrie, Nicole, Ange la and Brandon Rentmeester and Rachel and Michael Schneider) and two gre at grandchildren (Elizabeth and Breanna).     Robert "Bob" Peeters, 75, De Pere entered eternal life on Tuesday, No v. 5, 2002. The son of the late Cornelius and Esther (Coenen) Peeters w as born on May 27, 1927, in Green Bay. Bob was a graduate of De Pere Hi gh School and a World War II Navy veteran. On Feb. 18, 1950, he married h is wife of 52 years, Patricia "Pat" Burke at St. Francis Church in De Per e. She preceded him in death last week, Wednesday, Oct. 30. He was a memb er of Local 1203 at Milprint in De Pere where he worked for 40 years unt il his retirement in 1989. Bob especially loved spending time at his cotta ge in Mountain, Wis. and tending to his garden at home. He enjoyed playi ng cards with friends and his Milprint Retiree Monday Morning Breakfast Cl ub.
    Survivors include six children and spouses, Bob and Barb Peeters, De Per e; Mark and Susan Peeters, De Pere; Mary and Jim Oates, Ashwaubenon; Patri ck and Beth Peeters, De Pere; Julie and Steve Boyea, Ashwaubenon; and J im and Shana Peeters, De Pere; 16 grandchildren; one brother Irv and Vi Pe eters, De Pere; two sisters, Florence and Don Baeten and Gen and Rollie Sm its, all of De Pere; and one sister-in-law, Vicki Peeters, De Pere.

    De Pere - Lorraine M. Schroeder, 87, died peacefully in her sleep with her family by her side on May 1, 2018. Lorraine was born on May 23, 1930 to the late Agnes (Coenen) and Lawrence Vander Heiden.
    Lorraine attended De Pere High School and on September 16, 1947 she married Orville Schroeder at St. Raphael's Cathedral in Dubuque, Iowa. They spent 67 wonderful years together before Orville passed away in 2015. Together they raised seven children and showed them what true love was.
    Lorraine is survived by her seven children Mary Kay (Steve) Jauquet, Dale (Jayne) Schroeder, Denise (Kurt) Gajeski, Nancy (Pat) Burke, Steven Schroeder, Renee (Kevin) Perock, and Susan Beining.
    She is further survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren Colleen (Mike) Vien and their children Gunnar, Emily, Megan, and Alex; Polly (Ryan Juley) Jauquet, Neil (Amanda) Jauquet and their children Cora and Jansen; Andrew (Kristen) Schroeder and their son Mac; Jenny Titulaer and her son Orville; Adam Titulaer; Ryan Burke, Colin (Libbi) Burke, Shannon Mach and her daughter Ava; Cassidy and Ross Perock; Danielle, Megan, and Allison Beining; sisters-in-law: Betty Schroeder, Rosella Schroeder and Joan Schroeder.
    Lorraine was proceeded in death by her husband, daughter Lois, grandson Benjamin Jauquet, parents, stepfather Robert Hannan, and her sister Helen Vander Heiden.
    Family and friends may visit at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Drive, Ledgeview, on Saturday, May 5, from 9:00am until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00am with the Rev. Richard Getchel officiating and Rev. Jim Neilson, O.Praem as homilist. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, De Pere.     Rentmeester, Bruce P.Bruce P. Rentmeester, 53, Homer, Alaska, passed away unexpectedly on Oc t. 2, 2004, in Rochester, Minn. Bruce was born on Sept. 16, 1951, in Gre en Bay, the son of Lawrence and the late Helen (Coenen) Rentmeester. Bru ce attended St. Mary of the Angels Grade School and was a 1969 gradua te of Premontre High School. Bruce also attended the University of Wiscons in-Madison and Kenai Peninsula College in Kenai, Alaska.Bruce left Green Bay in 1974, hitchhiking to Alaska through a snowsto rm to work on the Alaska pipeline. He stayed in Alaska, ultimately worki ng as an operations technician for British Petroleum on the North Slope f or 15 years. Bruce met the former Vicki Kroeger in Homer, Alaska, in 198 5. On Nov, 14, 1990, Bruce married Vicki in her hometown of Jefferson Cit y, Mo.Those who had the privilege of knowing Bruce came to love and respect h im as a very intelligent, independent, genuine person who cared deeply abo ut his wife, his family, and his friends. His generosity was evident to th ose who came in contact with him. Bruce and Vicki enjoyed entertaining vis itors to Alaska, taking them sight-seeing, clamming, fishing, hiking, boat ing and showing them around Alaska.Bruce enjoyed many hobbies and interests ranging from hunting, fishing a nd snowmobiling to working with construction equipment to real estate deve lopment. Bruce was talented in many ways — an accomplished craftsman who b uilt his own home, a successful businessman who started projects from scra tch, and most importantly, a genuine friend who enjoyed being with peopl e, who could listen intently and solve problems, and was impatient with an yone who didn’t reach for the stars as he had.Bruce is survived by his loving wife and soulmate, Vicki; his father, Lawr ence Rentmeester, Green Bay; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Ken a nd Ruth Rentmeester, Middleton; Greg and Lynn Rentmeester, Green Bay; Jo hn Rentmeester, Green Bay; Roy and Gwen Rentmeester, Denmark; two siste rs and one brother-in-law, Jane Rentmeester, Green Bay; Kaye and Steve Sch neider, Ledgeview; and by Vicki’s sister, Elaine Herring and her husban d, Bruce, Leavenworth, Kan. He is further survived by many loving niece s, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Rentmeester; father and moth er-in-law, Joe and Mary Lou Kroeger; brother-in-law, Jody Kroeger; and sis ter-in-law, Kathy Rentmeester.Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday Oct. 8, 2004, at Proko-Wa ll Funeral Home. Visitation will continue after 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oc t. 9, until the 11 a.m. funeral service at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 16 30 E. Mason, with Rev. James P. Neilson O.Praem officiating. A memorial se rvice will be held at a later date in Homer, Alaska.
    Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
    Vicki would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses at Mayo Clinic a nd in Homer who cared for Bruce for their dedicated professionalism and co mpassionate care and for all those who prayed for Bruce and his recovery.
