Obituary:
Helen M. Bellile, 94, New London, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, at her home in the presence of her loving family. Helen was born July 16, 1913, in Hortonville, daughter of the late Robert and Helena (Baer) Taubel. On March 21, 1934, she was united in marriage to Frederick Bellile. He preceded her in death Nov. 5, 1974. Helen lived in New London most of her life where she was employed at Hamilton Canning Company. During her life she also was employed by the Hortonville Canning Company and was a certified babysitter. She was a member of the MPB Catholic Church and the Catholic Women.
Helen is survived by her daughters: Donna Southard, Clintonville; Arylene (Dick) Wanty, Waupaca; Sharon (Gordon) Werdin, Wautoma; Kathleen (Robert) Brush, New London; and son: Fred (Mary) Bellile, New London. She is further survived by her sister-in-laws; Laura Bellile, New London and Dorothy Jackson, New London; brother-in-law Carl Bellile, New London; 20 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, three brothers, her grandson James Southard and great-great-grandchildren Sarah Schroeder and Tristin Knutson.
Funeral services for Helen will take place Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008, at 11 a.m. Due to construction at the New London Catholic Church, the service will take place at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Hortonville with Rev. David Lewis presiding. Friends and family may call at the church on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Theda Care Hospice and Dr. Carlos Yu for the wonderful care they showed Helen.
