Obituary:
Joe C. Winn, 70, of 107 1/2 W. Wisconsin avenue, Kaukauna, a retired Chicago and North Western railway employee, died at 4 p.m. Saturday at his home after a heart attack.
He was born July 29, 1889, in Greenbush. He was a member of the Fond du Lac polic force before moving to Kaukauna in 1928. He was employed by the railroad for 26 years, retiring in 1954. He also operated a mail pickup for the Kaukauna post office.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic church, Kaukauna, with burial in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Greenwood Funeral home, Kaukauna, where the rosary will be said at 8 p.m. today.
He is survived by his widow; three sons, Eugene, Kaukauna, John, Sheboygan, and Vernol, Gardenia, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. John Gilson, De Pere; and three grandchildren.

Obituary:
John R. Winn, 90, Green Bay, died peacefully, May 11, 2013, at a local hospital. Born in Fond du Lac, June 8, 1922, he is the son of the late Joe and Ella (Pratt) Winn. John served in the United States Army during World War II. He married the former Margaret Maccaux on June 3, 1946, at St. Philip the Apostle Church. John and Marge owned and operated Winn Sewing Center for many years. He was an avid golfer.
He is survived by his wife, Marge; sister-in-law, Mildred Kraft all of Green Bay; many nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his son, John Michael Winn; brother, Gene Winn; as well as many other relatives.
