    Henry "Hank" Martin Kilsdonk, 94, longtime Culbertson, Montana resident, passed away at the Roosevelt County Long Term Care Center in Culbertson early Sunday morning, September 30, 2012.
    Henry "Hank" Martin Kilsdonk was born April 25, 1918 in New Rockford, ND to Martin and Mary Elizabeth (Williamsen) Kilsdonk. He was raised and educated in Jamestown, ND, attending the Saint John's Academy.
    Hank joined the CCC's in August of 1935 and was honorably discharged in May of 1939. During this period of service, Hank traveled and lived in several states, the last being Montana. While in Montana he met Mildred Rasmussen. Hank and Millie were united in marriage on May 25, 1939 at St Anthony Catholic Church in Culbertson, MT. They were married 58 years until Millie's passing in 1997.
    In 1944, Hank and Millie purchased a farm north of Bainville, MT. Even though Hank had other jobs over the years, farming was his greatest passion.
    After retiring, Hank and Millie traveled extensively throughout the United States in their motor home visiting family and friends. They were active members of the "Good Sam's Club" and enjoyed meeting and making new friends.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Mary Elizabeth; his wife, Mildred (Rasmussen) Kilsdonk; two sons, Martin John (Mary) Kilsdonk and Eldon Mathew Kilsdonk; one daughter, Veralyn Angela (Jim) Smith; and several siblings.
    Everson Funeral Home of Williston is caring for the family.
    His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning, October 6, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. (MDT)) at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Culbertson, Montana. Father Francis Schreiber will officiate.
    A wake will be held Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. (MDT) at St. Anthony Catholic Church.
    Friends may call at the Church on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.(MDT), and Saturday at the church for the hour preceding the funeral.
    Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery in Culbertson.

    Veralyn A. Kilsdonk Smith, 63, of Cheyenne, Wyo., died Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
    She was born on July 17, 1946, in Williston, N.D., to Henry and Mildred Kilsdonk. She was raised in Culbertson.
    On June 27, 1987, she married James Smith in Culbertson.
    She was an active member of the Cheyenne Lady Newcomers and Friends group where she enjoyed the company of her many friends. She enjoyed travel by air or by land as a copilot or passenger to visit family and friends.
    She was preceded in death by a brother, Eldon Kilsdonk; and a son, Dereck Baerwald.
    She is also survived by six brothers and two sisters, Ralph Kilsdonk of Kanona, N.Y., Rodney Kilsdonk of Sidney, Stanley Kilsdonk of Fairview, Mildred Owings of Broken Arrow, Okla., Martin Kilsdonk of Queensland, Australia, Kathleen Kilsdonk of Culbertson, Tim Kilsdonk of Hornell, N.Y., and Odean Kilsdonk of Culbertson; three children, Brenda Young of Hayden Lake, Idaho, Kristi Mogen of Douglas, Wyo., and Anganett Burzen of Austin, Texas; and four grandchildren.
    Cremation has taken place at Schrader's Sunset Park Crematory. Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, Oct. 22, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Culbertson, Mont. Inurnment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Culbertson.
    Everson Clayton Stevenson Chapel of Culbertson was entrusted with the arrangements.
