    Obituary:
    Gladys S. 79, and Leo P. Gerrits, 89 of Appleton completed their journeys to their Heavenly home. Gladys on Thursday May 3, 2012; and Leo on Sunday May 6, 2012 at Brewster Village, with family by their sides. She was born in Appleton, July 1, 1932, daughter of the late Henry and Theresa (McDaniel) Lamers. He was born in Wrightstown on November 16, 1922, son of the late Antone and Ann (Bushman) Gerrits. Gladys and Leo were united in marriage on May 5, 1959 and were blessed with 53 years together.
    Gladys spent her years raising her five children, and had a great love and talent for arts and crafts. She also had a great love for music. Gladys will be remembered for her selflessness, always putting her loved ones needs before her own.
    Leo served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII. He was employed for 40 years as a laborer for International Associates Machinists and Aerospace Workers. He enjoyed playing pool and horseshoes. Leo will be remembered for his dedication to his family, and his love of animals.
    Gladys and Leo were long time members of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Appleton. They will both be deeply missed by their family and many loving friends.
    Gladys and Leo are survived by their five children, Ronald (Debbie), Appleton, Sandra (Michael) Bodwin, Sturtevant, Diane (Pat) Nimtz, Hartford, Dennis (Abby), Chicago, IL, and Karen Liethen (Brett Jacobs), Appleton; six grandchildren, Kayla Duffy, Kevin Duffy, Michael Green, Jordan Green, Haleigh Green, and Samantha Bodwin; Gladys' sister, Carol (Bob)Dorsey; and her loving friend, Judy Kaddatz.
    A Mass of Christian Burial for Gladys and Leo will be 11:00AM on Friday May 11, 2012 at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1617 W. Pine St, with Fr. Dennis Ryan officiating.     Gerrits, Donald G. "Seymore", Kaukauna, age 82, died unexpectedly Tuesday June 3, 2008, surrounded by his family at Appleton Medical Center. Donald was born in Wrightstown on June 23, 1925, to the late Anton and Anna (Bushman) Gerrits. He proudly served in the Army during World War II. On October 23, 1948, Donald married Ruth Heiman at St. Joseph Parish in Appleton. He retired from Kaukauna Cheese in 1987. Donald was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, making crafts and bowling. He also liked to play Bingo, Sheephead and Cribbage as well as trips to the casino. Donald received the Fan Appreciation Award at the Holy Cross Basketball Tournament.
    Donald is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ruth; ten children: Kaye (Tom) Eiting, Combined Locks; Joyce Larson, Kaukauna; Don (Peggy) Gerrits, Kaukauna; Carla Bates, Kaukauna; John (Terri) Gerrits, Kaukauna; Pam (Jim) Rosin, Kaukauna; Lori (Mitch) Sultze, Kaukauna; Cork Gerrits and special friend Steve Klug, Oshkosh; Lynn (Keith) Fiala, Kaukauna; and Amy (Jay) Jansen, Kaukauna; 27 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; siblings: Leo (Gladys) Gerrits and Evelyn Hibbard; and sisters and brothers-in-law: Agnes Gerrits, Henry (Marcie) Heiman, Carl (Rita) Heiman and Dorothy (Merlin) Moderson.     Gordon J. Schreurs, age 82, of Brewster Village, Appleton, WI, formerly of Little Chute, died Thursday, November 8, 2007, at Brewster Village. He was born March 14, 1925, to the late George and Eva (Gerrits) Schreurs in Wrightstown. Gordon married the former Theresa Boots on November 20, 1948, at St. John Catholic Church in Little Chute. He enlisted into the U.S. Army on July 10, 1943, and served until his honorable discharge on January 10, 1946. Gordon worked in the paper industry his entire life, retiring from Midtec in June of 1986.
    He was a longtime member of St. John Parish and the American Legion Jacob Coppus Post 258. Gordon loved card playing and most recently enjoyed bingo. He was a great outdoorsman, especially enjoying, fishing and hunting in his younger years.
    He is survived by his son, Daniel Schreurs; his three daughters: Donna (Larry) Blake and their daughter, Kandace; Mary Schreurs and Barbara Schreurs; his sister, Elizabeth (Leonard) Maufort; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Theresa; his infant daughter, Julie; two infant brothers, Clayton and Vincent; and an infant sister, Lois.
    The Mass of Christian Burial will be 5 p.m. on Monday, November 12, 2007, at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH, Little Chute with Rev. David Funk, OFM Cap. officiating. Friends will be received on Monday at Church from 2 p.m. until the time of service.     Mary Jane Johnson, age 89, of Kaukauna, passed away at Cherry Meadows, Appleton, on Wednesday, November 19, 2014. Mary Jane was born on April 6, 1925, in Wrightstown, to the late John and Agnes (Gerrits) Schreurs. She married Donald R. Johnson on August 26, 1961, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Wrightstown: he preceded her in death on March 25, 1995. Mary Jane was a faithful member of Holy Cross Parish for more than 50 years. She was employed as Head Cashier at the former Home Mutual Insurance Company for over 30 years, retiring in 1985. Mary Jane was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed going out to eat and playing cards with "The Girls," doing number puzzles and playing bingo, and spent many enjoyable summers at the cottage in Northern Wisconsin.
    Survivors include her son, Patrick (Judy) Johnson; her grandchildren, Andy (Katie) Johnson of Walford, Iowa, and their children, Kyle and Kara; Chad (Angie) Johnson of Kaukauna, and their children, Alaina and Grant; Rebecca (Dave) Ernsthausen, Chicago, Illinois; her sisters-in-law, Lorraine Schreurs and Shirley Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.     Ethel M. (Schreurs) Femal, Age 85, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Parkside Care Center. Ethel was born on September 26, 1926 in Wrightstown, Wisconsin the daughter of the late John and Agnes M. (Gerrits) Schreurs. She grew up in Wrightstown, graduated from Wrightstown High in 1944 and married Clifford R. Femal on October 10, 1947. Ethel was a devoted mother and wife and with Cliff raised three children in Kaukauna. She worked for short periods at the Woolen Mill in Appleton and at Kaukauna Klub Cheese. She liked to garden and put a little love in all the fruit and vegetables she canned and the food she prepared. Ethel was a longtime member of Holy Cross Church and the Fox Valley Golf Club. She enjoyed golf, fishing, playing cards and was an avid Packer fan.
    Ethel is survived by her daughter: Barbara (Paul) Tanoura, Honokaa, Hawaii and his children, Kristian and January; a son, John (Julie) Femal, Eugene, Oregon and their two childen, Brenden and Claire Femal; a granddaughter, Nicole (Femal) Earle, Augusta, Georgia; and great granddaughter, Courtney Earle; four step great grandchildren, Hayley, Kristina, Isaac and Trevor, all of Hawaii; her sister, Mary Jane Johnson and five in-laws, Lorraine Schreurs, Clayton McCabe, Robert Geenen, Bill Baldwin and LaVerne Femal.

He was born April 29, 1941, in Green Bay, Wis., a son of the late Edward M. and Elizabeth (Fritsch) Gerrits. On June 5, 1962, Budd married the former Ione Lamers at St. Paul Catholic Church Wrightstown.
    Budd was active in his community with the Lions Club, Choir Director of Askeaton, on the Town of Holland Zoning Board, Wrightstown Community School Board, member of St. Pat's Askeaton Church and the finance committee for church, St. Paul's Men's Choir, and was involved with the Baylander Barbershop. Some of the awards Budd received are the Outstanding Young Farmer, Host of Breakfast on the Farm, Host of Night on the Farm, Farm Technology Days in 2008, Lions Club award, was a Master Agriculturist of Wis., and he was a strong advocate for agriculture.
    Budd is survived by his wife, Ione Gerrits; children, Thomas (Anne) Gerrits, Carolyn (William) Waring, Michael (Cindy) Gerrits and Julie (Michael) Fischer; grandchildren, Cassaundra (fiance, Jon), Nicholas, Craig, Michael, Christopher, Matthew, Megan, Melissa, Jonathan, Lindsey and Claire.     Diane Lynn Nimtz, 52. With her two dogs at her side, Diane Lynn Nimtz (nee Gerrits) was born into eternal life on the morning of Thursday, April 23, 2015.
    Born in Appleton, Wisconsin on May 4, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Gladys (Lamers) and Leo Gerrits, whom she now is reunited with.
    Diane is survived by her husband Patrick Nimtz of Hartford; daughter, Kayla Duffy of Milwaukee; son, Kevin Duffy (Karleissa Rogacheski) of Milwaukee; siblings Ronald (Debbie) Gerrits of Appleton; Sandra (Michael) Bodwin of Sturtevant; Dennis (Abby) Gerrits of Chicago; and Karen Liethen (Brett Jacobs) of Appleton; aunt, Carol (Bob) Dorsey; countless friends who have been touched by her life; and of course, her two dogs, Roscoe and Chena.
    Diane spent her years working as a nurse, where she dedicated herself to the needs and comforts of her patients. Coworkers will remember her for her hardworking spirit and sweet nature. Diane will always be remembered as a loving woman who was in every sense of the word, a nurturer-from her profession to the love and dedication she showed towards her husband and two children, and the kindness she showed to the pet rabbits, birds, cats, and dogs who have come and gone throughout her life. While Diane's love for her family and "fur babies" will never be forgotten, she will also be remembered for her passion with interior design and her love of nature through camping, biking, sitting outside to watch thunderstorms roll in, and of course, being an avid gardener who greeted springtime with excitement as she planned out what she would be planting that season. Diane lived with Diabetes for fifty years. While Diane's life was cut tragically short, she will continue to live on through her children and her loved ones, whose memories of Diane have now become the most sacred of treasures.
    Visitation for Diane will be from 1 -3 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2015, at Shimon Funeral Home, 824 Union St, Hartford, WI with a Catholic prayer service at 3 p.m., officiated by Fr. David of St. Kilian Parish.
