    Elaine M. Seidler, age 74, of Shawano, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2007, in Shawano. Elaine was born on June 10, 1933, in Shawano, the daughter of the late Elmer and Irene (Rusch) Daniel. On December 2, 1950, she was united in marriage to Melvin J. Seidler in Appleton. Melvin preceded her in death on May 14, 2007. Elaine was a member of the Peace United Church of Christ in Shawano where she taught Sunday school, was a member of the Women's Circle, and helped with the funerals. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, gardening, and homemaking.
    Elaine is survived by her daughter, Diane (Don) Radtke of Bonduel; her son, Duaine (Kim) Seidler of Appleton; daughter-in-law, Sandy Seidler of Green Bay; six grandchildren: Marie (special friend, Mike Beverlin) Steffen, Ann (special friend, Joe Pryal) Seidler, Bob Seidler, Chad (Sharlet) Radtke, John (Kristy) Seidler, Jamie Greenwood; and five great-grandchildren: Ashleigha Steffen, Ameilia Abraham, Brittany Nowell, Molly Greenwood, and Josie Greenwood. She is further survived by three brothers: Ken Daniel, David Daniel, Adam Daniels; and four sisters: Darlene Peterson, Pat Boucher, Lois Daniel, and Joanne Huntington.
    Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin; two sons: Richard, Randy; her parents; and a sister, Jeanette Jeffers.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 30, 2007, at the Peace United Church of Christ in Shawano with the Rev. Marty Black officiating. Burial will be in the Lake Drive Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Friday after 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano is assisting the family with the arrangements. A Memorial fund has been established for the Peace UCC Sunday School Fund.
