    Jape, Thomas A. "Yuppy"
    Thomas Jape, 81, Neenah, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, Wednesday, August 10, 2011. He was born April 18, 1930, in Neenah, son of Edward and Pauline (Lansing) Jape. Thomas married Germaine H. Pitsch February 23, 1952, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Neenah, where he currently was a member. Thomas owned and operated a carpentry and cabinet shop and was employed at Neenah Printing Company until his retirement. He enjoyed going to his cabin in Wausaukee along with spending winters in Florida with his wife Germaine. Thomas was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was an awesome carpenter and built his girls anything they wanted. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving his country in the Korean War with the Seabees.
    Thomas is survived by his wife, Germaine; daughters: Chris (Pete) Peterson, Menasha; Paula (Warren) Popp, Greenville; Terri (Greg) Jesser, Fridley, MN; Sue (Mark) Westphal, Neenah; Kathy Inocelda, Neenah; Karen (Pete) Braun, Merrimac; 8 grandchildren: Stacey, Phil, Derek (Christie), Anna (Nate), Ben, Season, Nicole, Adam (Melanie); 7 great grandchildren: Emma, Ray, Keagan, Mara, Davontre, Amiyah, Aubrey and Asia; a brother, David (Lynn) Jape, Neenah; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
    He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald and a sister, Eunice.
    Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August, 19, 2011, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 620 Division Street, Neenah, with Fr. Michael Ingold officiating. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Friday until the time of the mass. Military honors will be performed by members of the U.S. Navy, and members of the Hawley-Dieckhoff American Legion, Post #33, Neenah, following mass at the church. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
    Sincere thanks to Dr. Goggins, St. E's Oncology staff, Affinity Home Care, Hospice, and our dear friends and family.
    To our Dad: You were the best Dad in the whole world and we miss you so much.
