    Femal, Harold E. "Harry" AppletonAge 82, died Monday, January 13, 2003 at Rennes Health Center. He was bo rn in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on February 7, 1920; the son of Edward and Frol lea (Hoffmann) Femal. Harold was the owner and operator of Femal Service I nc. In 1946 he married Gudrun "Lilla" Femal, she preceded him in dea th on December 31, 2002. This past November they celebrated 56 years of ma rriage. Harold served in the Army Air Corp during World War II, as a demol ition specialist. Harry and his wife enjoyed many years living on Shawa no Lake.He is survived by his four sons: Ronald (Barbara), Robert "Bob" (Susan), E rik (Marsha) and Richard, all of Appleton; nine grandchildren and a great- grandchild; brothers: Kenneth Femal and Lloyd (Maxine) Femal, both of Appl eton; sister, Doris Frost, Chandler, Arizona. In addition to his wife a nd parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Peters.The funeral will be Thursday, January 16, 2003 at 6 p.m. at the Valley Fun eral Home with military honors to follow. The visitation will be Thursd ay from 4 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial w ill be in Highland Memorial Park. The family would like to extend their de epest thanks to the Nursing Staff at Rennes Health Center for all their ki ndness. Valley Funeral Home 2211 N. Richmond St. 733-5435
