    Obituary:
    Donald Wickesberg was born in Black Creek, WI on January 19, 1932. He was born to Launce and Viola Wickesberg (nee: Grunwaldt). Donald died at Cherry Meadows with his wife, Marnna, at his side holding his hand. On May 2, 2012, they had been married 48 years. She loved him dearly and was always proud of him. Donald went to Seymour High School, and was very involved in sports. He went on to the University of Wisconsin in Madison, and was in ROTC. He graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He then joined The United States Air Force and became a 1st Lieutenant Pilot. He was honorably discharged from the Air Force reserve as a Captain. Donald worked at Ethel Corp. in Detroit, and then was transferred to San Bernardino, CA. Loving Wisconsin, Donald moved back to Black Creek his home town, and got a job in Neenah. Along the way, he met a girl from Racine, and they eventually got married. Several years later, he went to work at TEC Systems, Inc. in DePere, WI. Donald retired at age 59. He decided that it was time to do some things he had always wanted to do, and help out his family in any way he could. I don't think there was anything he couldn't do. We are both Christians, and are members of St. Marks Lutheran Church in Neenah. Donald was a very honest and humble man, and always supported those in need. He will be missed by many.     With tearful eyes we watched him suffer And saw him fade away;
    Although we loved him dearly We couldn't make him stay.
    A golden heart stopped beating Hard working hands to rest;
    God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best!
