    Dorschner, Bernard J.Bernard J. Dorschner, 80, New London, passed away on Friday, Nov. 25, 200 5, at Kindred Hearts in New London. Bernard was born on March 10, 192 5, in Hortonville son of the late Peter and Viola (Wolf) Dorschner. On Apr il 29, 1944, he married Virginia Huettner. She preceded him in death in 20 01. Bernard was a life long resident of New London. He served his count ry in U.S. Army from 1943-1946. Bernard was attached to the 146 Anti-Aircr aft Artillery out of Fort Hood. He served in the Asiatic Pacific Theatre d uring World War II. Bernard formerly worked at Quality Packing House in N ew London and also at Gilbert Paper, Menasha where he retired in 1987 aft er 33 years of service. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the V FW and the Fish & Game Club. Bernard loved fishing, camping, hunting, spor ts, working around the house and boating, he formerly raced speed boats.He is survived by his daughter Sandra (Theodore) Gray, Columbus, Wisconsi n, and his dog BJ.He is preceded in death by a sister Val Wendt, two brothers Raymond and Mi lford Dorschner and a granddaughter Holly Kay Dorschner.Funeral Mass for Bernard Dorschner will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 200 5, at 10:00 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London wi th Fr. David Lewis officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, mil itary rites will be held. Friends may call on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 f rom 4-8 p.m. at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London, a 7:00 p. m. VFW service and a 7:30 p.m. Knights of Columbus prayer service wi ll be held. Friends may also at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. unt il the time of service.Cline & Hanson Funeral Home 209 W.
