    Obituary:
    Age 79, of New London, passed away on Sunday July 15, 2012 at St. Joseph Residence in New London. He was born on October 18, 1932 in the Township of Ellington, (Outagamie County), son of the late Carl & Mary (Helein) Weiland. Don proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. On July 5, 1954 he was united in marriage to Marlene "Molly" Paulson. She preceded him in death in 2007. He worked for many years at Luebke Roofing in Appleton. Don enjoyed being outside, fishing, cooking, building things and listening to polka music. He is survived by a daughter, Tammy Weiland, New London. Three sons, Rob Weiland, New London, Tim (Kathy) Weiland, New London, Rodney Weiland, New London. One brother, Ray (Susie) Weiland, Hortonville. Three sisters, Marge Lund, Black Creek, Mae (Ronnie) Tyler, Shiocton, Eleanora Ferge, New London. Two grandchildren, Lindsey & fiancée Matt and Mackenzie. Besides his wife, Don was preceded in death by a brother Clarence. The Funeral Service for Don will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday July 17, 2012 at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London with Rev. Kate Croskery-Jones officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in the Floral Hill Cemetery. Military Rites will be held.
