Bolwerk, Helen
Helen Bolwerk, Combined Locks, 67, died Friday June 23, 2006, at Appleton Medical Center. She was born Nov. 28, 1938, to the late David and Lucille (Nackers) Van De Hey in Appleton. Helen married Robert Bolwerk on May 5, 1959, at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Together they shared 47 years of marriage. Helen was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She cherished her role as a homemaker and loved spending time with her four grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Bolwerk; her three children, Terri (Scott) Burton and their two children, Kari & Jay; Jane (Bruce) Bleier and their two children, Jonathan & Stephanie and Al (Chris) Bolwerk. She is further survived by her brother Jack (Marion) Van De Hey; and two sisters, Carol (Robert) Boots and Barbara Van De Hey.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Ronald.
Helen's Mass of Christian Burial will be 4 p.m. on Tuesday June 27, 2006, at ST. PAUL'S CATHOLIC CHURCH with Fr. Robert Vandenberg officiating. Friends will be received on Tuesday at Church from 2 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place in Holy Name Cemetery, Kimberly. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established. The Boettcher Family Funeral Home is assisting the family. 920-766-2099.
