    Obituary:
    Edward A. Hartzheim, age 62, of Black Creek, passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side, Friday morning, September 16, 2011 following a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was born on January 22, 1949, son of late Henry and Artista (Blaugh) Hartzheim. On March 27, 1976 he was united in marriage to Jill Kranzusch, in Appleton.
    Ed began his working career at Murphy's Construction and retired from Valley Express, Oshkosh. He was previously an over the road truck driver for 20 years. He also had a passion for farming and farmed in the Town of Cicero on the family homestead. He loved spending time with his grandsons and his many friends. Ed enjoyed breakfast at the Memory Mall in Nichols and was proud to say he made it to all 50 States after his recent visit to Alaska.
    He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in the Township of Cicero, and considered the members of his church his second family.
    Survivors include his wife Jill; daughters: Vicki (Ben) Van Vleet, Nichols; Dana Hartzheim (fianc? Colin DeCair), Champaign, IL: grandsons: Brandon, Jerad and Ethan; mother-in-law, Joyce Kranzusch, Appleton; sisters: Sharon (Robert) Dewey, Manitowoc; Janice Mitchell, Winter, WI; Joyce (John) Kranzusch, Florence; Rose (Pat) Bosshart, Freedom; many aunts, nieces and nephews; good friend, Ken Roskom.
    Preceded in death by his son Scott.
    Friends may call on Monday, September 19, 2011 at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour from 4-8 PM. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Township of Cicero from 3:00 PM until services at 4:00 PM with Rev. Ty Stoneburner officiating.     Ed was a supportive, caring, and loving husband, father and grandfather. He never met a stranger, and everyone was a friend. He was kind, loyal and giving who was there for anyone who needed his help. He will never be forgotten and will remain in our hearts forever. We love you and miss you.
    A special thank you to Unity Hospice, the Bellin Cancer Team and the staff at Bellin Hospital. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.

    Hartzheim, Scott Allen
    Scott Allen Hartzheim, age 27, of Seymour, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, December 7, 2006. He was born November 15, 1979, in Appleton, the son of Edward and Jill (Kranzusch) Hartzheim. He was a 1998 graduate of Seymour Community High School and was employed with Appleton, and was formerly employed with Georgia Pacific, and Richco Structures. Scott enjoyed snowmobiling, Nascar, riding motorcycle and customizing his vehicles. He was a member of the Nichols Go Getters Snowmobile Club.
    He is survived by his parents: Ed and Jill Hartzheim, Black Creek; his two sisters: Vicki (Ben) Van Vleet, Nichols; Dana Hartzheim, Carbondale, IL; his paternal grandfather, Henry Hartzheim, Black Creek; his maternal grandmother, Joyce Kranzusch, Appleton; and his great-grandmother, Hilda Kriplean, Appleton.
    He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Kranzusch; and his paternal grandmother, Artista Hartzheim.
    Friends may call at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, 358 S. Main St., Seymour, on Sunday, December 10, 2006, from 5-8 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday, December 11, 2006, at the IMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH - CICERO, N9580 County Rd. X, Black Creek, from 5 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 6:30 p.m., with Reverend Ty Stoneburner officiating.
