Obituary:
Kerrie L. Van Straten, 49, Shiocton, passed away on Dec. 1, 2007, at her residence. Kerrie was born on Sept. 11, 1958, in New London, daughter of Charles and Audrey (Pieper) Conradt. She was a 1976 graduate of Shiocton High School. On July 24, 1982, Kerrie was united in marriage to Randy Van Straten. She enjoyed quilting, volunteering at various Shiocton School functions and riding her horse. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London.
Kerrie is survived by her husband of 25 years, Randy; her parents, Charles and Audrey Conradt, Shiocton; a daughter, Annette "Annie" Van Straten, Fond du Lac; a son, Theodore "Ted" Van Straten, Shiocton; three sisters, Laurie (Mike) Behnke, Greenville; Kay Conradt, Neenah; Amy (Jim) McGlone, Greenville; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gerald and Arlene Van Straten, Shiocton; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Diane Powers, Shiocton; Wayne (Diana) Van Straten, Shiocton; Doug (Sue) Van Straten, Shiocton; and Jenny (Marvin) Garrison, Wind Lake. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Greg Conradt.
Funeral services for Kerrie will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London with the Rev. John Schewe officiating. Burial will be in the Bovina Cemetery in Bovina Township. Friends may call at the Shiocton Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 3, 2007, and at the church in New London on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
