    John H. Seegers, 89, died Saturday morning, June 10, 2006. He was born February 6, 1917, to the late John and Marie (Wyngaard) Seegers, in Darboy and had been a Kimberly and Combined Locks resident. John had been employed by Kimberly-Clark Corporation for nearly 40 years retiring in 1976. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and "the cabin". John was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, Kimberly and the Kimberly-Clark Quarter Century Club.
    He is survived by three sons, Ralph (Vonnie) Seegers, Combined Locks; Dalton (Lola) Seegers, Combined Locks; Dennis (Carol) Seegers, St. Germaine, Wis.; seven grandchildren, Vicky Keel, Kelly (Mike) Mueller, Nikki (Lonnie) Nienhaus, Sara Seegers, Stacey (Boyd) Thiel, Bradd (Wendy) Seegers, Gina (Josh) Szablewski; 14 great-grandchildren, Ryan and Alex Keel, Brianna and Aaron Mueller, Cody and Cole Gracyalny, Jadyn Nienhaus, Lexi and Hunter Thiel, Sam, McKenna and Kynan Seegers, Erin and Evan Szablewski; two brothers, Louis (Catherine) Seegers, Kaukauna; Herman Seegers, Waupaca; two sisters, Lucina Kuepper, Kimberly; Lillian (Joe) Hermsen, Appleton; sisters-in-law, Arlene Becher, Cedella Schmitt, Esther Clegg, Virginia (Dave) Timm; a brother-in-law, Ray Haase; many nieces and nephews; and two special friends, Betty Forster and Peggy Prast.

    The funeral liturgy for John will be held at 5 p.m., Tuesday, June 13, 2006, at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH-KIMBERLY, with Father David Belongea. OFM Cap. officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Combined Locks. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday, from 3 p.m. until the time of the mass. A memorial fund is being established.

    Louis Seegers, age 92, passed away at Brewster Village early on Saturday morning, July 6, 2013. Louis was born in Darboy on March 19, 1921, son of the late John and Marie (Vanden Wyngaard) Seegers. Over the years, Louis was involved in a variety of careers. He was in the restaurant and bar business in Green Bay, Appleton, Chilton, and Hilbert; he worked as a driver for the New Hope Center in Chilton; and also worked as a maintenance supervisor at the Chilton High School for twenty years. He loved horse racing, playing cards, visiting the casino, and telling stories. During World War II, he served his country as a member of the United States Army.
    Louis was married to Florence Schmidt, and together the couple had two sons. Later, he married Gladys Owen, and the family grew larger. In July of 1987, he married Catherine Buchinger Popp, and the roots of his family tree grew once again. He is survived by his wife: Catherine Seegers of Kimberly; four sons: Roger (Connie) Seegers of Appleton; Wayne (Janice) Seegers of Fremont; Scott (Judy) Owen of Santa Cruz, California; and Stephen (Beverly) Owen of Hilbert. Catherine also has nine children: Patricia (Gerald) Moehn of Stockbridge; Susan (Judd) Vollmer of Menasha; Fredrick (Rose) Popp of St. John; Kathleen (Gerald) Theel of Kiel; Peter (Sue) Popp of St. Nazianz; Nancy Robers of Arizona; Gregory (Shirley) Popp of Menasha; Maxine Orth of Cleveland; and Rachel (Paul) Anciaux of Hixton. Louis also leaves behind 49 grandchildren, 50 great- grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; a sister: Lillian (Joe) Hermsen of Kimberly; and two sisters-in-law: Mary Margaret Schmidt of Seymour and Dorothy Buchinger of Appleton. He was preceded in death by his parents, ten brothers and sisters, Catherine's ten brothers and sisters, and two grandsons: Douglas Moehn and Travis Seegers.
    The funeral liturgy for Louis will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Holy Spirit Parish - Holy Angels Church in Darboy. Msgr. James Vanden Hogen will officiate, and burial with full military honors will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Tuesday morning from 9:00 AM until the hour of the service.

    Lillian E. Hermsen, age 90, of Kimberly, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2014. She was born on June 23, 1923, to the late John and Marie (Vanden Wyngaard) Seegers. Lillian was born in the Town of Buchanan, and graduated from Kimberly High School in 1941. On October 1, 1942, Lillian married Joseph Hermsen at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Darboy and the two spent 71 happy years together. She worked at Zwickers throughout her life, filling multiple roles within the company. Lillian was a 4-H leader in Hollandtown for many years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, spending time with family, bingo, cards and doing crafts. Lillian also enjoyed spending winters in Florida as well as summers at Shawano Lake. She and Joseph were long-time members of Holy Spirit Parish.
    Lillian is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Hermsen; children: Ronald (Joan) Hermsen, Lakewood; Karen (George) Broeren, Kaukauna; Kathy (Steve) Hermes, Kimberly; Darlene (Dennis) Van Dyke, Darboy; Randolph (Diane) Hermsen, Kaukauna; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Rose (late Clarence) Seegers and Catherine (late Louis) Seegers; siblings-in-law: Lorraine (late Leo) Hooyman, Eleanor (late Ed) Behling, Grace (Ralph) Schmidt, Mildred (Lawrence) Whippich, Lloyd (Marlene) Hermsen; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

    Herman Seegers, Age 85 of Fremont, passed away on Monday, July 16, 2012, at home following a long struggle with cancer. He was born in Darboy, WI to John and Marie (Wyngaard) Seegers on March 2, 1927.
    Herman was in the Navy serving from 1944 - 1946 on the Tuscaloosa. He worked for most of his life at Kimberly Clark and Millcraft Homes. In the last years of his life, he managed the Red Banks Motel. He loved going dancing more than anything. He was very active in his church, the United Methodist Church in New London, WI.
    Herman is survived by his eldest daughter, Margie (Stan) Prellwitz and three more daughters; youngest son, Perry (Tina) Seegers and one additional son; brother, Louis (Catherine) Seegers; two sisters, Lucina Kuepper and Lillian (Joe) Hermsen; one sister-in-law, Rosemary Seegers; grandchildren, Penelope (Allen) Bartotto, Gwendolyn Prellwitz (special friend Karl Lobring), Chris Manley, Sarah Seegers (special friend Michael Soiney), Annabelle Seegers and seven more grandchildren; great- grandchildren, Nikolaus, Zachary and Micheyla Bartotto, Kenedi and Lawson Seegers, and ten more great-grandchildren.     Daryl J. Haase, 71, of Freedom, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015. He was born on June 6, 1944, son of the late Ray and Marie (Seegers) Haase. Daryl married the love of his life, Darlene Schuh, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church on May 6, 1967. He was a proud United States Air Force Veteran.
    Daryl retired from Stokley/Chaquita canning factory as an industrial mechanic after many years of service. He enjoyed singing, hunting, fishing, playing cards and cribbage, long Sunday drives to look at the crops, anything outdoors and especially spending time at the cottage. Daryl loved attending and watching his grandkids activities and sporting events. You could be certain to hear a duck call or the tease of getting tossed into the lake when Grandpa was near. He joined the Freedom Volunteer Fire Department in 1972 where he held the positions of Lieutenant Officer, Stock Holder and Fire Inspector. He became an honorary member of the department in 1987.

    Stephen John Kuepper Jr., age 78, of Kimberly, passed away unexpectedly of cardiac arrest on Saturday, January 11, 2014, with his loving family by his side. Steve was born on April 26, 1935, in Darboy son of the late Stephen and Lucina (Seegers) Kuepper.
    Stephen and LaVerne (Menting) were married on October 4, 1954, and were to celebrate their 60th anniversary this year. They are members of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Kimberly.
    Stephen loved his family and they were always his top priority. He also had a love for reading, enjoyed hunting and fishing, he was a Ducks Unlimited sponsor and enjoyed attending numerous other conservation banquets, he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
    After 41 years of devoted service at Kimberly-Clark, he retired in 1993 as Staff Assistant in Manufacturing.
    He is survived by his loving wife, LaVerne; four children: Craig (Pam) Kuepper, of Menasha; Russ (Chris) Kuepper, of Minocqua; Todd (Judy) Kuepper, of Wabeno; and Kerri (Tom) Jacob of Larsen; nine grandchildren: Justin (Courtney) Kuepper, Ryan Kuepper, Lee (fiancé Mary) Kuepper, Lucas (friend Alicia) Kuepper, Daniel Kuepper, Holly (Jay) Kelley, Travis (fiancé Ashley) Kuepper, Teshara (Jacob) Strey, and Nathan Qualley: three step grandchildren, Corey Kuchler, Billy Kuchler and Tarynn Kuchler; also three great-grandchildren: Liam Kelley, Graecyn Strey, and Lylah Strey; five brothers; Ken (Ariel) Kuepper, Richard (Kerry) Kuepper, Douglas (Tamara) Kuepper, Steven (Diana) Kuepper and Corey Kuepper; one sister Diane (Tim) Lettau; brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Bob Miller, Sandy (Tom) Konen, Jeff (Kathie) Menting, Rick (Dawn) Menting and Barb Menting. She was born on June 28, 1937 in the Town of Harrison, the daughter of the late Stephen and Lucina (Seegers) Kuepper. On October 3, 1953, Carol married Robert E. Miller Sr. at Holy Name Catholic Church in Kimberly. They just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. She was a faithful member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London. Robert and Carol were foster parents to 64 children over the years. She had a love for reading and was well known for her excellent baking and cooking skills. Carol was a reporter for the Press Star for many years. She served as president to the Chamber of Commerce in New London. She was part-owner of The Pantry in New London with her mother Lucina. Later, Bob and Carol started the rental business of C & B Rental and sold it to start Carol's Party Plus and then later Carol's Attic until retirement.
    Her family meant the world to her, and she looked forward to the family gatherings and eating together at local restaurants. Carol is survived by her 3 children: Robert E.     The Funeral Mass for Carol will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London. A visitation for Carol will be held on Friday at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London from 4-7 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will also be at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

    Wayne A. "Buddy" Seegers, age 73, of Fremont, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, February 26, 2017, at his home, with his family at his side. He was born on April 16, 1943 in Kimberly, WI, the son of the late Louis and Florence (Schmidt)Seegers. He was baptized into the Kingdom of God on September 9, 1949, and later made his solemn vow of Confirmation on April 15, 1964. Wayne worked for Pendergast Sleep Shop for 38 years before retiring. After retirement, Wayne worked for Koeppens Medical Transport for 4 years, before his health no longer allowed him to. In 1994, Wayne married Janice Snell. He was a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Dale, where he served on many boards. He enjoyed camping and fishing, as well as traveling to auctions and rummage sales all over the area. Wayne will always be remembered as a big man with an even bigger heart. His kind and gentle manner were loved and will be missed by many. Wayne is survived by his wife, Janice; his children, Steve(Sue)Plach, Richard(Kim)Plach, Gregory(Kisandra)Plach, and Heidi(Rick)Kramer; his grandchildren, Hannah, Matt, Nick, Samantha, Kelsey, Megan, Lindsey, Braxton, Rickey, Riley, Amy, Chris, Alex, and Brianna; three great-grandchildren, Hailee, Finley and Dena; his brothers, Roger(Connie)Seegers,

Burial will be in Community Lutheran Cemetery in Freedom. Visitation will be held on Thursday, at the church, from 9AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.

    Russell Steven Kuepper, 56, of Minocqua, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, February 2, 2014. He was born on January 18, 1958 in Kimberly, WI to LaVerne (Menting) and the late Stephen Kuepper, Jr.
    On August 10, 2012, Russ wed Christine (Richardson) Kuchler in Minocqua, WI. Together, they shared their passion for the outdoors….camping, motorcycling, snowshoeing and fishing. Russ was also an avid hunter and enjoyed deer hunting with his sons.
    Russ truly had a gift when it came to photography. He especially enjoyed taking pictures of nature and wildlife. This talent, along with his creativity, was the foundation for his business, "Diverse Design Group." Russ was also recently employed at Allied 100 as a graphic designer.
    Russ loved his wife and family unconditionally. He was very proud of his children and was looking forward to taking Chris and his two sons to Alaska this coming summer for his eldest son's wedding.
    He is survived by his loving wife, Chris; three children, Lee (fiancé, Mary Riddick) Kuepper of Kenai, AK, Lucas (friend, Alicia Thelen) Kuepper of Madison and Daniel Kuepper of Madison; three step children, Corey Kuchler of Minocqua, Billy Kuchler of Wattford City, ND and Tarynn Kuchler of Minocqua; mother, LaVerne Kuepper of Kimberly; two brothers, Craig (Pam) Kuepper of Menasha, Todd (Judy) Kuepper of Wabeno; one sister, Kerri (Tom) Jacob of Larsen; father-in-law, Ed Richardson of Woodruff; mother-in-law, Joann Richardson of Minocqua; sister-in-law, Pam (Scott) Cisney of Corsicana, TX and many nieces, nephews and friends. Russ was preceded in death by his father, Stephen Kuepper, Jr.; infant brother, John; maternal grandparents, Peter and Agnes Menting; paternal grandparents, Stephen and Lucina Kuepper; and special relative, Adeline Bright. He was also preceded in death by many aunts and uncles.
    Services will be held at Nimsgern Funeral & Cremation Services in Woodruff on Saturday, February 8, 2014, with visitation from 9:30 to 11:30 with a short prayer service to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Russ's family to be designated at a later date.

    Tad Seegers, 32, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital on Oct. 30, 2009. Tad was born on Aug. 13, 1977, in Appleton, to Betty L. (Meyer) Seegers. He graduated from Appleton East High School. Tad was a faithful employee of Fabco and The Binding Edge.
    He enjoyed success as a bowler at the state level, was a talented video game player, enjoyed gardening, solving puzzles and his cats. Tad especially enjoyed time spent with his family. Tad eagerly looked forward to attending the Special Touch Bible Camp each summer at Spencer Lake.
    Survivors include his loving mother, Betty L.
