    WENZEL SCHMIRLERWenzel Schmirler, 72, died Friday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Earl Vandebogart, 817 Richmond St. Mr. Schmirler had been suffering as the result of paralytic strokes for a number of years and another stroke on Thursday evening caused his death.Mr. Schmirler was born in Karlsbad, Austria and came to this country in 1872. He lived in Seymour (Outagamie County, Wisconsin) for 12 years and then came to Appleton where he was a resident for more than 40 years.He is survived by 8 children and 13 grandchildren. The children are: Mrs. Joseph Rankin, Mrs. Earl Vandebogart, Mrs. John Heckel and Joseph Schmirler, Appleton, Wenzel and Robert Schmirler, Oshkosh, Anton Schmirler, Green Bay, Mrs. Isadore Wachtel, Chicago.Funeral services will be held at 9 o?clock Tuesday morning from St. Joseph church. Burial will be made in St. Joseph Cemetery.[Mrs. Schmirler, the former Thekla Sigl, died in 1910. Mr. Schmirler was born June 25, 1851 and died September 7, 1923]
