Friends may ca ll at the Greenwood Funeral Home, Kaukauna, after 7 p.m. Friday. Rosary w ill be prayed at 8 p.m. The only survivors are nieces and nephews.

    Arnold P. Stuiber
    223 Whitney St., Kaukauna Age 76, passed away Wednesday evening following a four month illness. He was born June 14, 1894 in Kaukauna and was a life resident of Kaukauna. He had worked for Combined Locks Paper Co. and the C. N. W. Railroad shops, Kaukauna and was employed at Badger Tissue Mills from 1932 until his retirement in 1959. He was a World War 1 veteran. He is survived by his wife, -Linda; four sons, Harold, Alpadena, California, Sylvester, Brown Deer, David, Madison, Kenneth, Neenah; two brothers, John, Antigo, George, Kaukauna; 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Kaukauna with burial in the parish cemetery. Rey. Charles Fredericks will officiate. Friends may call at the Greenwood Funeral Home after 5 p.m. Thursday and there will be a prayer service at 8 p.m. Thursday evening.

    Obituary:
    Steven J. Thon, 93, Kaukauna, passed away peacefully at his home on Feb. 19, 2010. He was born Dec. 15, 1916, in the Town of Harrison, the son of the late Herman and Mary (Zollpriester) Thon. At the age of 18 Steve lost his father, he ran the family farm to support his mother and his seven younger siblings and continued farming until his retirement in 1982. Steve was a kind and gentle person, in retirement Steve enjoyed working on small engines, cutting wood, shaking dice, taking drives and helping out at St. Vincent DePaul.
    Steve is survived by his brother: Robert Thon, Kaukauna, with whom he lived with; his sister and brother-in-law Marian (Norman) Parizek, Chilton; and many nieces and nephews and other relatives.
    Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Mary; sisters, Georgia (Henry -James) Meyerhofer-Rochon; Florence (John) Hruska; Bernice (Raymond) Carducci; Marilyne (Leslie) McConnell and Gladys (Francis) Clavers; brother Kenneth (Betty) Thon.
    A special thank you to Steve's grand-nieces and nephew's for all their care.
    Funeral Services for Steve will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday Feb. 28, 2010, at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of service. 920-766-2099

    Bernice M. Carducci, 83, formerly of Palmer Township, died Thursday, September 23, 2004 in the VNA Hospice of St. Lukes. Born April 17, 1921, in Kaukauna, Wis., she was a daughter of the late Herman and Mary (Zollpriester) Thon. Her husband, Raymond, died in 1992. She retired in 1986 from Binney & Smith, Forks Township. Bernice served as a WAVE in the Navy during World War II. She was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, Palmer Township. Survivors: Son, Dr. Bryan Carducci and his wife, Sharon, of Raleigh, N.C.; daughter, Lois Prytherch and her husband, David, of Palmer Township; granddaughters, Afton and Daryl Carducci. Robert worked his entire career at Combined Locks Paper Mill, until his retirement in 1988. Robert enjoyed time with his brother Steve, hunting and taking drives.
    Robert is survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives.
    Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Mary; sisters: Georgia (Henry-James) Meyrhofer-Rochon, Florence (John) Hruska, Bernice (Raymond) Carducci, Marion (Norman) Parizek, Marilyne (Leslie) McConnel, and Gladys (Francis) Claveers; brothers: Stephen and Kenneth (Betty Lou) Thon.

She was born May 27, 1925, in Harrison, WI; daughter of Herman & Mary (Zolpriester) Thon. In 1946, she married Leslie H. McConnell and the couple resided for many years in Fowlerville, MI. Both worked for the United States Postal Service as rural letter carriers in that area. Leslie preceded her in death on May 25, 1981. In 2002, Marilyne moved back to Wisconsin to live with her twin sister, Marian, and her husband, Norman, in De Pere. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, stamp collecting, sewing, and dogs. Marilyne is survived by her twin sister, Marian (Norman) Parizek; and two brothers, Stephen and Robert Thon. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four sisters, Georgiana Rochan, Florence Hruska, Gladys Clavers, Bernice Carducci; and a brother, Kenneth Thon.     June 8, 1922 - December 15, 2013 Harold Stuiber, passed away peacefully at home with his family at the age of 91 on December 15, 2013. Born on June 8, 1922 in Kaukauna, WI to Arnold and Linda Stuiber, Harold was the eldest of his three brothers, Ves, David and Ken Stuiber. At the age of 18, Harold moved to Pasadena, CA to pursue his love for theater, where he trained and worked at the Pasadena Playhouse. In 1944, he met the love of his life, Virginia Anderson, of Sandpoint, ID. Harold and Virginia were married in 1947 and made Altadena, CA their lifelong home, raising their son and daughter, until Virginia's passing in 2001. While starting his family and working full-time, Harold attended night classes at California State College, Los Angeles, where he earned a B.A. and M.A. in Economics, becoming the West Coast Sales Representative for Joshua L. Bailey & Co., Inc., a New York based selling agent for textile mills. He represented the Company through 1991, at which time he semi-retired. During his employment with Joshua Bailey & Company and beyond, he represented many of the existing and emerging West Coast based apparel manufacturers and country-wide textile manufacturers, whom he counted as loyal clients and friends until the time of his passing. Harold was an avid tennis player at the Altadena Town & Country Club where he was a member for 55 years and served as President of the Board of Directors. He enjoyed playing golf at the Altadena Golf Course and played weekly at Eaton Canyon Golf Course through his 90th birthday. In 2002, Harold became a hospice volunteer, enriching the lives of the patients he served with his sense of humor, passion for books and natural ability to treat all he met with exceptional respect, honesty and friendship. In 2010, Harold found love again in his marriage to Toni Ward of Altadena. Toni and Harold's remarkable devotion and love for one another and their extended families was truly inspirational. Harold is predeceased by his brothers, David Stuiber and Kenneth Stuiber. He is survived by his wife, Toni Ward Stuiber of Altadena, CA; his brother, Sylvester Stuiber, of Fond du Lac, WI; sister-in-law, Pat Brecha, of Altadena, CA; son, Chris Stuiber, and his wife, Sue Nolte Stuiber, of Santa Margarita, CA; daughter, Lisa Jaynes, and her husband, Peter Jaynes, of Altadena, CA; grandchildren, Nicole Stuiber Armstrong, Brittany Stuiber Tomlinson, Nick Shaw, Kevin Jaynes, Caroline Jaynes; and great-granddaughter, Savanna Tomlinson.     Sylvester A. Stuiber, 92 of Fond du Lac WI, passed away on August 23, 2016 while in hospice care at Brookdale Senior Living in Fond du Lac. Sylvester was born on December 18, 1923 in Kaukauna WI, the second of four sons, to Arnold and Linda (Finke) Stuiber.
    Sylvester grew up in Kaukauna with his three brothers Harold, David and Kenneth. In March 1943, Sylvester enlisted in the Army and joined the 292nd Combat Engineer Battalion. He served in Europe in the Battle of the Bulge as part of the Engineers Special Battalion, Amphibious Unit. After the end of the war, in March 1946, he was discharged and returned to Wisconsin.
    Using the GI Bill, Sylvester attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering. While at MSOE, he completed a certificate for Refrigeration, Heating and Air Conditioning in September 1947 and received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in March of 1950. Also while at MSOE, Sylvester met his future wife, Roselle Wifler.
    Sylvester and Roselle were married on April 15, 1950 in Roselle's hometown of Glenbeulah, WI. at St. Fridolin's Catholic Church. The couple lived for a few years in Plymouth WI where they had their first two sons, Mark (1/1951) and Chad (2/1952).
    In the mid 1950's, the family moved to Milwaukee where they welcomed their third son Terry (7/1955). At this time, Sylvester began working as an Electrical Engineer at Globe-Union Inc. While at Globe-Union, he received a patent with fellow engineer Roy Dilger for an electronic ignition system.
    In 1958, the family moved to Brown Deer, WI where they welcomed their fourth son, Kent (9/1960). Here Sylvester began working for Ozite Corp. where he worked as a Plant Engineer. While at Ozite, he was temporary assigned to South Africa for 6 months in the early 1970s to help setup a new carpet manufacturing facility.
    In 1975, the family moved to Fond du Lac, WI, where Sylvester began working for Sadoff Iron and Metal. Later, he took a position as Plant Engineer at the Galloway-West Company. Sylvester retired from Galloway-West in 1988. After retirement, Sylvester and Roselle maintained a home in Florida and traveled extensively.
    Sylvester is survived by his sons Mark and Kent, both residing in Fond du Lac, WI.
    He was preceded in death by his wife Roselle, his sons Chad and Terry and his brothers Harold of Altadena
    Visitation: The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, September 2, 2016 from 8:30 until 9:45 AM at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way, Fond du Lac.
    Service: At 10:00 AM on Friday, September 2, 2016, a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Church. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Taycheedah. There will be refreshments at church following the burial.

    John F. Schwalbach, age 81, of Appleton, passed away at Cherry Meadows Hospice, with his family at his side on Thursday, October 8, 2009, following a lengthy illness. John was born on March 27, 1928, in Appleton, to the late Edward and Katherine (Dietzen) Schwalbach. He married Rita C. Maher on October, 12, 1951; she preceded him in death on September 21, 1976. John married Verna Wilharms in March of 1978; she preceded him in death in December of 1990. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1950 to 1952, serving in Korea and earning a Bronze Star. He then was employed at Miller Electric Manufacturing Company as a Production Supervisor for 33 years, retiring in June of 1984. John enjoyed gardening, word search and cross word puzzles. He was well known for helping neighbors and friends, and was a fan of the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers.
    Survivors include his children, Mary Hawkinson, John M. (Joan) Schwalbach and Edward G. Schwalbach (Special Friend, Dawn Conant); his grandchildren, Kari (Pete) Hawkinson-Briones, Jason (Theresa) Schwalbach and Crystal Thorpe; his great-grandchildren, Conner and Ramsey Briones, Tyler and Kylee Schwalbach and Logan Thorpe; his brothers, Edward, Richard and Raymond Schwalbach; his step-children, step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; and his Special Friend, Germaine Hansen.

    Eva L. Plamann, age 94 of Appleton, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 14, 2015. She was born on July 5, 1921 in the Town of Grand Chute to the late Hurbert and Gretchen (Schwalbach) Merkel. On April 27, 1946, Eva married Herbert Plamann at St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a member of St. Pius X and volunteered with the church mission, Eva was formerly employed with Kimberly Clark in the office with the Badger-Globe Mill. She enjoyed traveling, bowling and camping but most important to her was her family.
    She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Herbert, nine children; Patricia (Tom) Lamon, Conover, WI, Catherine (Robert) Vondracek, Sherwood, WI, Mary Derks, Appleton, Linda (Warren) Haser, Bellville, WI, James (Linda) Plamann, Little Chute, John Plamann, Appleton, Sue Honkomp, Appleton, Thomas Plamann, Shawano, and Judy (Mark) Mattingly, Appleton. She is further survived by 18 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Eva is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Leona (Lawrence) Presteen and Emmaline (Cyril) Fisher, son in law, George Honkomp and granddaughters, Amy Griesbach and Josette Derks, and grandson, Joseph Derks.
    A funeral mass for Eva will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, October 19, 2015 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, with Fr. Thomas J. Farrell officiating. A gathering of friends and family will be held from 9:00 am until the time of service at the church. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, Appleton.
    The family wishes to extend a special Thank You to Affinity Hospice for the wonderful care given to Eva.

    Rita J. Petersen, 83 of Grand Chute, died Friday June 15, 2012 at St. Paul Elder Service, Kaukauna. She was born in Appleton, August 6, 1928, daughter of the late Alvin and Minnie (Schwalbach) Schroeder. Rita married Lawrence "Pete" Petersen on June 24, 1954.
    Rita and Pete are charter members of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Appleton; she worked hard on the family dairy farm, caring for the calves, and working in the barn, but her main job was caring for her family. She was an excellent cook, and she made sure her family ate well. She also expected them to eat on time, and let her family know her displeasure when they came in late. Rita enjoyed decorating the house and yard for the holidays; she enjoyed watching football, baseball, and NASCAR. Her greatest joy was spending time with the family, her children and especially her grandchildren.
    Rita is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Pete; four children, Lynn (Robert) Wenzel, Fond du Lac, Steven Petersen, "the farm", Grand Chute, Karen Petersen, Grand Chute, and Mark Petersen, "the farm, Grand Chute; two grandchildren, Ann and Nick Wenzel; sister, Phyllis Schroeder, Appleton; brother, Glenn (Dottie) Schroeder, Freedom; two brothers-in-law, Jim Gresl, Appleton, and Bob Van Hoof, Seymour; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Schroeder, three sisters, Elaine Gresl, Betty Gresl, and Irene Van Hoof; and a brother-in-law, Don Gresl.
    In keeping with Rita's wishes, a private family service will be held.

Together the coupled owned Elmer's Twin City Bar in Menasha. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading, embroidering, cooking, and baking. Elvira was very artistic and especially enjoyed sketching, drawing, and creating recipes. She was a devoted member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Menasha.
    She is survived by her devoted sons: Robert Kraus, Menasha; Dennis (Letha) Kraus, Appleton; and Ronald (Dorothy) Kraus, Appleton; 8 grandchildren: Jody (Jeff) Maiville, Judy (Keith) Peterson, Robert (Wendy) Kraus Jr., Charles (Shannon) Kraus, Dean (Julie) Kraus, Tammi (Rob) Dernbach, Kerri (Steve) Gullickson, and Staci (Douglas) Milosavljevic; 20 great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Bryan, Adam, Joshua Sr.(Naomi), Brett, Hayden, Jake, Alyssa, Alexander, Elizabeth, Erik, Steven, Matthew, Theodore, Hannah, Abigail, Maxwell, George, Elijah, and Lauren; a great great grandson: Joshua Jr. "JJ"; a sister: Marian Huss, Kaukauna; a sister-in-law: Marie Krause, Greenville; and many other relatives and friends.
    Elvira cherished her family and loved spending time with them. She enjoyed going for rides in the country, attending dance recitals, concerts, and sports events when family members were involved or just chatting and sharing memories and stories of the past.
    In addition to her husband and parents, Elvira was also preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Barbara Kraus; a brother: Anthony Metz; and 3 sisters: Marcella (Julius) Van Munn, Dolores (Gordon) Cotter, and Helen Metz; and four brothers-in-law: Cleon Huss, Ray (Viola) DeWall, Harold Kraus, and Carlie Krause.
    Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, March 22, 2013, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 Broad Street, Menasha, with Rev. Steven Billings officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Visitation will be Friday at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated to Trinity Lutheran Church, Menasha.
    Elvira's family wishes to extend a very special thank you to the nursing staff at Villa St. Clare, ThedaCare at Home Hospice, and her special friends: Mary Howden, Melissa Reed, and Rita Adomovich, for all of their wonderful kindness and care.
    Pastor Billings was very dear to Elvira; she loved attending church services and Bibleclass at Trinity, seeing friends there and then having lunch with the Trinity group. She wanted to be a part of her church and did all she could to serve her Lord. She appreciated Pastor Billing's and Pastor Kopitzke's visits when she could not attend services.

    Marian Anna (Metz) Huss, Little Chute, age 85, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday February 21, 2016 after complications following surgery. Marian was born May 16 1930 to Michael and Irene (Nettekoven) Metz. She married her life time friend and love, Cleon Peter Huss on September 10, 1949. Together they had three children.
    Marian enjoyed sewing clothes for herself and her three children. She continued this by crocheting blankets for all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed trips to St. Germaine and Door County and a tradition of cooking Sunday dinner for her family to all come home to. Marian made the best Carrot Cake that could be found anywhere. She also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. In her later life she took great pride in spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and her dog Allie.
    Marian is survived by her daughters: Katherine (Thomas) Schroder of Kaukauna and Patricia (Jon) Zeininger of Menasha; and son: Paul (Barbara) Huss of Combined Locks. Marian is further survived by 11 grandchildren: Susan Schroder, Tina (Nicholas) Voigt, Jamie, (Rhonda) DeLeeuw, Nicholas (Maureen) DeLeeuw, William (Lauren Jares) Zeininger, Jon Zeininger Jr., Michael (Jessica) Huss, Joseph (Jenni Schmidt) Huss, Kelly (Will Banks) Huss, Jason (Bailey) Huss and Lesley (Jim) Leusink. Marian had 14 great grandchildren, as they called her grandma Great: Collin and Abigail, Myla and Aubrey, Lydon and Wyatt, Austin, Ethan, Jassara, Chloe, Lillian, Alivia, Jessica and Hailey.
    Marian is also survived by her brothers-in-law: Ken (Rosie) Huss, Floyd (Arlene) Huss, Jerry (Dee) Huss, George (Rosie) Huss, John Schmidt; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who loved her dearly; and her special companion Allie.
    In addition to her parents, Marian was preceded in death by her husband Cleon and his parents, George Sr. and Catherine Huss; siblings: Sally (Julie) Van Munn, Helen Metz, Laurie (Gordon) Cotter, Elvira (Elmer) Kraus, and her only brother, Tony Metz. She was also preceded in death by brothers and sisters-in-law: Sylvester (Ethel), Lawrence (Agnes) and Robert (Millie) Huss and Nancy Schmidt.

    Alois Nettekoven "Ollie," Sherwood, age 79, died on Saturday, March 22, 2008, at home. Ollie was born March 21, 1929 in the Town of Harrison son of the late John and Anna (Micke) Nettekoven. He was employed at Kimberly Mill for 36 years until retiring in 1994. Farming and Fords were always in his blood. With retirement he did not want to leave the farm, even if it was only watering cows!

    Earl Nettekoven, age 72, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton on Thursday, October 6, 2011. His family and friends were at his side. He was born in Kaukauna on September 16, 1939, son of the late John and Anna (Micke) Nettekoven. Earl attended school at Sacred Heart in Sherwood, and grew up on the family farm in Woodville. He married Geneva Wenzel, who preceded him in death in 1967. In 1973, Earl married Marilyn. For many years, he operated the family dairy farm, which is now operated by his son. He also worked for many years at the James River Canal Plant until his retirement. He was a former member of the Sherwood Lions Club, and loved spending time socializing around town with family members and friends. He loved being the guy everyone always wanted to talk with! His family parties were wonderful, and his grandchildren loved listening to his banjo and accordion playing.

    Cletus H. Meyerhofer, "Clet", Town of Harrison, age 81, passed away on April 5, 2015, two days before his 82nd birthday, at his home with his family at his side. He was born on April 7, 1933 in the town of Harrison to the late Henry and Georgia (Thon) Meyerhofer Rochon. After he finished school he joined the U.S. Army before marrying Mary Ann Mahnke on December 26, 1953. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955 and was a farmer for over 60 years. Cletus enjoyed sturgeon spearing, deer hunting, fishing, going to the casino, playing sheepshead and being in the tractor. Cletus was known by everyone for never having a crooked corn row.
    Cletus is survived by his loving wife Mary Ann of 61 years; by eight children: Steve (Bev) Meyerhofer, Ruth (Bruce) Thompson, Mike Meyerhofer, John Meyerhofer, Bruce (Lori) Meyerhofer, Joyce (Tom) Harris, Dave Meyerhofer and Dan (Shelley) Meyerhofer. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren: Laura (Dave) Mayer, Sarah (Marc) Vandenhouten, Ryan Meyerhofer, Randy (Nicole) Thompson, Gary (Erica) Thompson, Janet (Cal) Harrell, Michael Jr. (Amy) Meyerhofer, Angie (John) Kerkenbush, Rachel Meyerhofer, Josh (Jessica) Meyerhofer, Matt Meyerhofer, Ben and Amber Meyerhofer, Ashley (Steve) Ropski, Adam Smet, Brooke and Andrew Meyerhofer, Erin and Mitch Meyerhofer and 14 great-grandchildren. Cletus is also survived by brothers: Paul (Mary) Meyerhofer, Pat (Anna) Rochon; in-laws Milton (Doris) Mahnke.
    He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Joan, his father, Henry, mother and step-father, Georgia and James Rochon, brother and sister in-law, Glen and Betty Meyerhofer, sisters in-law: Barb Meyerhofer and Marlene Rochon and wife's parents, Gilbert and Hattie Mahnke.
    The funeral service for Cletus will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at St. John-Sacred Heart Catholic Church, N369 Military, Sherwood with Fr. Michael Betley officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Boettcher Family Funeral Home 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and again on Thursday directly at church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
    Cletus's family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to daughter Joyce Harris for all the love and care given to Dad during his illness right to the end.

    John Michael "Mike" Schwalbach, age 55, passed away at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, January 18, 2011. Mike was born on March 30, 1955, to the late John F. and Rita C. (Maher) Schwalbach. He married Joan Hammer on May 21, 1977, in Menasha. Mike was employed as a salesman at Motion Industries, Appleton, for over 35 years. He was a well-known sportsman. For many years Mike was the Junior Varsity Soccer Coach at Menasha High School, Assistant Varsity Soccer Coach at MHS, and a member of the Menasha Area Soccer Club. He was an avid golfer, bowler and played in several softball leagues. He especially enjoyed the time spent with his grandchildren. Most of all, Mike enjoyed vacationing in Aruba each year with Joan. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Joan; his children, Jason (Theresa) Schwalbach, and their children Tyler and Kylee; and Crystal Schwalbach and her son, Logan; his sister, Mary Hawkinson; his brother, Edward G. Schwalbach (Special Friend, Dawn Conant); his uncles, Edward, Richard and Raymond Schwalbach; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Schwalbach; his grand daughter, Brynn Schwalbach; and his in-laws, Joseph and Lorena Hammer. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2011, at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1617 W. Pine Street, Appleton, with Fr. Dennis Ryan officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for his grandchildren's education. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of the physicians and nurses at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center for their loving care.

    Lonny enjoyed farming as a boy with his dad. He worked for Grundwald logging, and for the last 37 years, he worked for Dombrowski house movers. Lonny enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling. He loved going to Canada with his family and friends, and just being outdoors. Lonny had a great sense of humor, and loved to joke around. His greatest love came from his time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

    Funeral service for Lonny will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday April 23, 2016 at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, with Rev. Mike Huff officiating. Lonny's family will welcome friends and relatives at the funeral home Saturday morning beginning at 9:00 AM until the hour of service.
    Lonny's family would like to thank the entire staff at Theda Care Regional Medical Center, and to the Shiocton First Responders, and Nichols Fire Department, for all of their care and compassion these past few months.
    We lost more than a husband, Father, Grandfather, and Father In-law, we lost a best friend.

    Kaukauna - Kathy Schroder, Kaukauna, age 66, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family and friends on Tues. Feb. 6, 2018. She was born on July 24, 1951 to the late Cleon and Marian (Metz) Huss. Kathy wed Thomas Schroder on May 29, 1971 at Whiting Community Baptist Church where they have remained members.
    Kathy loved her family above all and was always involved in their activities and organizations. While Sue and Tina were in high school she was a huge supporter of the band by organizing the concession stand and chaperoning any trips. She was overjoyed when her grandchildren were born and shared a very special relationship with them. Kathy spent her life dedicated to the care of children and provided loving care for hundreds of children during her lifespan and was happiest holding a baby. Her family hosted several exchange students whom Kathy readily welcomed as part of the family, maintaining contact with many of them over the years and traveling to Finland for a visit.
    Kathy was truly selfless and a nurturer and would always have a snack in her bag ready to share or would do anything she could to help those around her. Kathy never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone often finding connections to others she knew. She loved the summer for all the parades, fireworks, outdoor concerts and trips to Frogg's for ice cream. She made many lifelong friends as an active Jaycee member and while selling Watkins products. Kathy also enjoyed a good fish fry, camping with friends at the tree farm and traveling.
    She will be greatly missed by her husband of 46 years, Tom; her daughters Sue (special friend Pete) Schroder (Oshkosh); Tina (Nick) Voigt and her grandkids Abigail and Collin (Combined Locks). She is further survived by her siblings Pat (Jon) Zeininger (Menasha) and Paul (Barb) Huss (Combined Locks) and a sister-in-law; Karen Harris (Manitowoc) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and her day care families.
    Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Cleon and Marian Huss, in-laws Raymond and Mabel Schroder and brothers-in-law Dan, Kenny and Ed.
    The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to St. Paul Elder Services and the ICU at Thedacare Medical Center-Appleton.
    A celebration of life will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Whiting Community Baptist Church, 1020 Tullar Rd., Neenah.     Nettekoven, Brian J., Menasha, Age 39, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 19, 2010. He was born in Neenah on November 24, 1970, son of Earl and Marilyn (Onan) Nettekoven. He graduated from Kaukauna High School and from Fox Valley Tech. Brian worked for Albany International for 13 years. He had a very entrepreneurial spirit and always had creative ideas which led to Brian owning and operating The Outpost Pub and Provision He enjoyed spending time with his many friends, riding his V-Rod Harley, and was very fond of going to Packer Games. His three children: Cooper, Lexi and Grady were the world to him. Cooper will have fond memories of attending sporting events with Dad. Daddy was Lexi's best friend. Grady was Daddy's little shadow.
    Brian is survived by his children: Cooper, Alexa and Grady Nettekoven of Sherwood; parents, Earl and Marilyn Nettekoven of Sherwood; sibblings: Steve Nettekoven of Sherwood, Vincent (Donna) Nettekoven of Kaukauna and their children Jeremy (Beth) and Ashley, Anna (Brian) Mauel of Sherwood and their children Jason, Aaron and Geneva; Keith (Nicole) Nettekoven of Sherwood and their children Brooklyn, Kasey and Halle, Todd (Nancy) Wenzel of Sherwood and their children Dylan and Brady; and special friend, Cherie Mader of Kaukauna. Friends will be received at CHRIST THE KING on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.     James H. Meyerhofer, of Kaukauna, age 49, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2008, at Appleton Medical Center, following a brief, but courageous battle with Cancer. Jim was born on November 2, 1959, in Kaukauna, son of Paul W. and the late Barbara L. (Frank) Meyerhofer. He will be remembered as a very loving son, brother, uncle, and friend for his hard working, generous, and helpful demeanor, and his love of working on cars. He was also an avid Packers fan, and enjoyed every moment spent with his nieces and nephews.
    He will be sadly missed by his father, Paul W.     Thomas J. Meyerhofer, age 44, of Kaukauna, died Tuesday evening, April 24, 2007, following a courageous battle with cancer, with his loving family at his side. He was born March 11, 1963, to Paul W. and Barbara L. (Frank) Meyerhofer, in Kaukauna, where he was a resident all of his life. Tommy enjoyed bicycling, camping, the outdoors and classic cars. He had a great sense of humor and was hard working. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Kaukauna.
    Tommy is survived by his father, Paul W. (Mary) Meyerhofer, Kaukauna; two brothers: Jim Meyerhofer, Kaukauna; Terry (Lori) Meyerhofer, Kaukauna; three sisters: Lynn (Kevin) Van Grinsven, Little Chute; Stacy (Bruce) Vandenberg, Little Chute; Vicky Meyerhofer and her special friend, Gordy, Kaukauna; step-brothers: Douglas Ashauer, Sherwood; Tim (Lori) Ashauer, Kaukauna; Todd (Julie) Ashauer, Kaukauna; step-sisters: Debra (Scott) Sommerhalder, Brillion; Ronda (David) Johnson, Kaukauna; his godfather, Marty Engstrom, Clintonville; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara L. Meyerhofer, his grandparents, Jim and Georgia Rochon and Evermond and Dorphia Frank, his godmother, Marie Engstrom, aunts and uncles.
    The funeral liturgy for Thomas will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 119 West Seventh Street, Kaukauna, with Father Jerry Pastors officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Kaukauna. Friends may call at the church from 2 p.m. Friday, until the time of the mass. A memorial fund is being established.
    The family would like to thank Dr. Anthony Phillips and his staff, of Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology, in the Martha Siekman Center, and enormous thanks to ThedaCare at Home Hospice and his many friends at the Golden Venture.

    Amy Griesbach (Vondracek) 38, Oshkosh, passed away January 1, 2012 as a result of a car accident in Pickerel, WI. She was born on January 13, 1973 in Appleton to Robert and Catherine (Plamann) Vondracek. Amy graduated from Menasha High School in 1991. Amy married Brian Griesbach on April 29, 2005 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Appleton. She worked at Anchor Bank for almost 20 years. She loved the outdoors and traveling anywhere with her loving husband, Brian. They also enjoyed their pets: dog, Daisy; bird, Captain; cats: Jack and Phoebe. She was artistic, enjoying scrapbooking, stamping and being a L' Bri consultant.
    Amy was a beautiful, wonderful person who touched the lives of many with her kindness, sensitivity, laughter and love. Her spirit will continue to shine through the memories we hold in our hearts as we trust she is safe in heaven.
    She will be missed and is survived by her loving husband, Brian, Oshkosh; parents: Robert and Catherine Vondracek, Sherwood; brother, Tony (Jennifer) Vondracek, Shorewood; 3 special nieces: Bella, Celia and Olivia Vondracek; parents-in-law: Dave and Char Griesbach, Appleton; sister-in-law, Marnie Griesbach, LA. She is further survived by many dear friends, co-workers and relatives.
    A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11:30 am Friday, January 6, 2012 at St. Pius X Catholic Church (500 W. Marquette St.) Appleton, with Rev. Luke Ferris officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Appleton. Friends may visit the family Thursday, Jan 5, 2012 at the funeral home from 4 - 7 pm with a prayer service beginning at 7 pm. There will also be visitation at the church on Friday starting at 10 am prior to the mass.

    Brock Calmes, age 28 of Dale, died unexpectedly of a blood clot on Monday May 14, 2012 in Spooner, WI. Brock was born on October 17, 1983, in Appleton, WI, to Nick and Deb (Rochon) Calmes. He worked as a Fisheries Technician in Wisconsin and Idaho. He was at his best hawking in the stands for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. No one could miss the sound of his booming voice resonating throughout the stadium. He was loved by both young and old in the stands.
    Brock loved the outdoors. He spent many hours volunteering at Mosquito Hill Nature Preserve, winning the Cliff and Jean Braeger Volunteer Award. He loved both deer and waterfowl hunting and sturgeon spearing. In addition, he would participate in South Dakota's Spring snow goose hunting season. In Readfield, he enjoying shooting trap.
    He was an active 4H member in his school years. Winning many ribbons and Grand Champion ribbons. He attended 4H camp where he was loved as a camper and as a camp counselor.
    Brock is survived by his parents, his sister Fran (Mitchel) Wayne, grandfather Patrick (Anna) Rochon, Aunts and Uncles: Victor (Lynn) Calmes, Willard Jr. (Stephanie) Calmes, Daniel Calmes, Mary (Tim Quintal) Calmes, Arthur Rochon, and many other family and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Georgia Rochon; his paternal grandparents, Willard and Viola Calmes; his maternal grandmother, Marlene Rochon; an aunt, Kathleen Calmes; and cousin, Matthew Calmes.
    As seen in The Post-Crescent, a Celebration of Brock's Life will take place Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 6-9pm at the Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium.
    Brock was a tissue donor, and he lives on through this precious gift to others.
    Brock, we all love you and will remember you. You were one hell of a guy.
