Virginia H. Frassetto, "Ginny", 324 North Kensington Drive, Appleton, age 74, died unexpectedly Wednesday evening, May 19, 2004. She was born December 5, 1929, to the late Walter and Helen (Stepanski) Krueger, in Appleton, was a resident of Kaukauna in her youth and later was a resident of Kimberly. Ginny had been employed by Shopko, Kimberly, for six years. She loved "Tweety Bird" and had collected 85 Tweety shirts.
She was a member of Mt. Calvary Ev. Lutheran Church.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law: Steve Frassetto and his fiancee, Theresa Alverson, Kimberly; Gary and Jill Frassetto, Sherwood; Jay and Lisa Frassetto, Kimberly; two daughters and a son-in-law: Julie, Kaukauna; Lori and Rick Otto, Darboy; 16 grandchildren: Patricia, Jeremy, Jessica, Amber, Abbi, Zach, Dominic, Jesse, Travis, Kristy, Jonathan, Joey, Josh, Jamie, Tyler and Ashley; two great grandchildren: Kalie and Austin; a brother and sister-in-law, Wally and Irene Krueger, Kaukauna; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Pat and Joe Moyer, Adams-Friendship; Jackie and Fred Thrasher, Mobeetie, TX, Barb and Bob Kubat, Darboy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Frassetto and a brother, Bob Krueger.
Funeral services for Virginia will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 22, 2004, at MT. CALVARY EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 208 South Pine Street, Kimberly, with Reverend Virgil Hanson officiating. Friends may call at the church from 9:30 a.m., Saturday, until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.

Don't grieve for me for now I am free. I'm following the plan God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard Him call, I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found that peace at the close of day. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy of a friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, and yet these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much, good friends, good times and a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all to brief, don't lengthen it with undo grief. Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now He set me free!

Walter E., Jr. "Wallie" Krueger, age 75, of Kaukauna, died Wednesday, November 12, 2008, at Appleton Medical Center. He was born January 5, 1933, in Appleton, the son of Walter, Sr. and Helen (Stepanski) Krueger. Wallie was united in marriage to Irene Van Grinsven on July 5, 1957, at Holy Cross Catholic Church. The Kruegers were Fox Valley residents all of their lives, and Wallie and Irene were blessed with three daughters, Kathy, Kris, and Karla. Wallie was employed for over 40 years with Badger Northland, Kaukauna, retiring in 1996. He was an active volunteer with St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Center, and his family have been long time parishioners of St. Katherine Drexel Parish, St. Al's site. Wallie was a great and loyal Badgers fan. He enjoyed building and collecting World War II model airplanes. He enjoyed spending time with his coffee buddies at McDonald's sharing stories and each other's company. Wallie loved following his children and now his grandchildrens' sporting activities, attending many of their games as an avid fan. (and Grandpa!)
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Irene; his daughters: Kathy(Jeff) Lind and Kris (Jeff) Albers, of Darboy; Karla (Scott) Doering), Kaukauna; his six grandchildren: Adam and Kevin Lind, Nicole and Ryan Albers, and Matt and Tyler Doering; his sisters: Patricia (Joe) Moyer, Friendship, Wis.; Barb (Bob) Kubat, Darboy; and Jackie (Fred) Thrasher, of Texas; his four sisters-in-law: Roseann Geiger, Appleton; Martha (Milt) VandenBosch, Kaukauna; Jean (Bob) Siebers, Appleton; and Joyce (Bill) Jirikowic, Denver, Colo.; a brother-in-law, Don (Pat) Van Grinsven, Kaukauna; he is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Wallie was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, his sister, Virginia (Jim) Frassetto, his brother, Bob Krueger, sister-in-law, Eva (Glen) Jansen, and brother-in-law, Ron Geiger.
The funeral mass for Wallie will be celebrated at 12 p.m. Saturday, November 15, 2008, at ST. KATHERINE DREXEL PARISH, St. Aloysius Site, 2401 Main Ave., Kaukauna, with Fr. Jerry Pastors as celebrant. Visitation will begin Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of mass. He will be laid to rest at St. Mary Cemetery, Kaukauna. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
Irene and her family would like to extend their thanks to the Pulmonary Rehab staff at the Appleton Heart Institute and to all the nurses on the Fourth Floor at AMC for your compassionate care and comfort you gave to Wallie, and all of us. We would like to further extend our thanks to the physicians and nurses at the Kaukauna Clinic, especially Drs. Russo and Culligan.

Steven James Frassetto passed away on July 16, 2013, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on March 10, 1955, in Appleton, son of Jim and Ginny Frassetto. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force stationed in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Following his return from the service he worked at Zwicker's Knitting Mill for 12 years, Trio Heating and Cooling, and finished his career at SAMSA Inc. when he retired in 2008. On October 9, 2004, he married the love of his life, Theresa Alverson, after a 17 year courtship. Steve was an avid Chicago Bears fan and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed watching races at WIR and attending the annual Wausau Blues Festival with his wife.
Steve is survived by his wife, Theresa Alverson-Frassetto; children: Trish (Roosevelt) Franks, Jeremy (Tammy) Frassetto, Amber (Phil) Minton, and Jessica Gravedoni; his wife's children: Randy (Ann) Sonkoswsky, Wayne (Lynn) Sonkoswsky, and Anna Alverson; his siblings: Gary (Jill) Frassetto, Julie Frassetto, Lori (Rick) Otto, and Jay (Carleen) Frassetto. He is further survived by his 20 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 4 beloved pets (Buddy, Mia, Sam, and Sassy), many special friends, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Ginny; his in-laws, Dave and Myrna Alverson; his niece Kristy Frassetto; his grandchildren: David Franks, Ashanteana and Quintin Sonkowsky.
A memorial service for Steve will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at the WICHMANN TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL, 3212 S. Oneida Street, Menasha. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service.
The family would like to express special thanks to Heartland Hospice, FVHO and staff, Barbie Johnson, and the 4th floor nursing staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital for the care and compassion they gave Steve during his fight with cancer.
On July 16 at 3:30PM, Steve became my angel. He is finally at peace. Till we meet again, I love you. Just me.

Travis John Frassetto "Travy Boy"
Travis our beloved son, who had such a beautiful kind loving soul, has left us to be in heaven with his beautiful sister Kristy. On Thursday January 30th, he died unexpectedly a St. Elizabeth's hospital. All our hearts are again broken.
Travis was born on July 14th 1991 to Lisa and Jay, the 2nd of three beautiful children. He was always such a happy and loving child. He grew up to be such a wonderful young man. He had a kind loving selfless heart.
Travis loved sports and competition, but more specifically wrestling. He started in kindergarten moving on through high school. He worked hard at winning and earned numerous medals. ,
But Trav's true love was racing motocross, spanning many years starting at age 6 all the way through age 18. He was a racer who had an extreme determination with a truly focused competitive spirit. He was quite the site to behold, leaving most, if not all his competitors in his tracks. He went on to win numerous state championships. His "motocross family" was such a huge part of his life. With his big brother Jesse, who raced just as fiercely alongside Trav, competed nationally as well traveling nationwide. They qualified for Loretta Lynn national motocross races held in Tennessee. Together, they lived and breathed the sport.
Travis graduated from Kaukauna high school in 2008. After working at various jobs and positions, his future plans were to return to school. He was a hard worker who loved working with his hands.
His life, at age 22 was tragically cut short. We shall hold his memory in our hearts forever.
Travis is survived by his parents, Lisa (Bruce) Brum, Jay (Carleen) Frassetto and his big brother Jesse; step-brothers: Peyton, Garret and step-sister, Janell. He is further survived by his maternal grandparents, Ron and Delores Sedo; aunts, uncles and cousins: Brenda and Paul Thomson, Mitchell, Selenna and Maria, Kurt and Annette Sedo, Rutger and Conner, Chad and Niki Sedo, Kassie and Zach, Gary and Jill Frassetto, Abbi, Zach and Dominic, Lori and Rick Otto, Tyler and Ashley, Theresa Frassetto, Jeremy, Amber and Jessica, Julie Frassetto, Jonathan, Joey, Josh and Jamie; and his very special and beautiful girlfriend Clare.
He was preceded in death by his beloved sister Kristy Marie, his paternal grandparents, Jim and Ginny Frassetto; great-grandparents: John and Agnes Schumacher and Norb and Jane Sedo; Uncle Steve Frassetto.
Friends may call at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute on Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 4- 8 p.m. with a prayer service 8 p.m. and will continue on Friday, February 7, 2014 at the church from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. with Msgr. Jim Vanden Hogan officiating.

Your kindness, your big warm, soft heart, your beautiful genuine smile whenever you saw someone was always present. Your close friends, Ben, Caleb and Jedadiah said there was nothing you wouldn't do for any of them. You were the best friend anyone could ask for. They said you would drop anything you were doing if they called and needed something. They said you always took on their problems and tried to help and heal them. You were always there for them and anyone you loved. Everyone says your hugs were the best! You didn't just tap someone on the back, you hugged them,tightly and with a genuine love and concern that came from deep within your big, warm golden heart. Your wonderful laugh that was so contagious and sense of humor will also be missed. Now may the arms of Jesus and Kristy Babe wrap around you, comfort and love you like you did for the people that you loved here on earth.

Our children are given to us as a gift from God. We are here on earth to take care of them until He decides to take them back to Him.
Our beautiful "Kristy Babe" the joy and sunshine of our lives, born on October 6, 1992, to Jay and Lisa Frassetto, the third of three fabulous children, returned to her Heavenly Father on September 14, 2009. She left suddenly and unexpectedly. The loss and heartache we all feel is unbearable. We ask for everyone's prayers to help us heal. Our lives will never be the same without her. Only He knows and someday, hopefully we'll understand. Please do not judge or guess, please pray with us for acceptance.
Today we must celebrate Kristy's life, full of fun, laughter and goodness. Our tall, stunning blonde had a heart of gold for everyone and anyone. She loved her Mom, Dad and brothers unconditionally. Kristy loved everyone, was always there for anyone in time of need. She never questioned or denied help to anyone who asked. She forever tried to help those less fortunate than herself.
Kristy's big heart of gold also included a profound love for animals. Her horses Cody, Clue, Dee Dee and Mocha were her special treasures. To watch Kristy running through the fields on Cody with her hair blowing behind her was a breathtaking sight to see. She had a great love for all of God's creatures. So today, as lost and heartbroken as we are to have lost our darling sweetheart we must rejoice in her life. Kristy's favorite saying was "Love Always, Smile Often, Laugh Often, Laugh Loud and Be Happy."
