    Anton C. Schreiter of Manitiwoc died Sunday morning, August 20,1916 in a Milwaukee hospital. He was well known in Sheboygan as Tony Schreiter, a prominent contractor. He suffered a general breakdown about two months ago and has since been confined to the hospital. He had held a number of sewer and paving contracts in Sheboygan.

    J. ROSSMEISSL DIES TODAY AFTER 6 YEAR ILLNESS
    Member Of Rossmeissl Shoe Co. Dead At Riverview Sanatorium
    Oscar J. Rossmeissl, senior member of the Rossmeissl Shoe Co., died at 10:45 Monday morning at Riverview Sanatorium. He had been ill since 1917. Mr. Rossmeissl's condition became critical during the night.
    Mr. Rossmeissl was born in Appleton about 43 years ago and had made this city his home all his life. He was identified with the J. Rossmeissl Shoe Co. until the dissolution of that organization a few months ago and since then had been a member of the Rossmeissl Shoe Co.
    Mr. Rossmeissl is survived by his widow, two children, Milton and Evangeline; father, Joseph Rossmeissl Sr., five brothers, Hugo, Joseph, Arthur, Edmund and Carl; two sisters, Adella and Clara.
    The funeral probably will be held on Thursday but the time has not been definitely named.

    Rossmeissl, Claren ce "Clem"Clarence "Clem" Rossmeissl age 91 of Appleton, passed away Thursday Mar ch 9, 2006, at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center. Clem was born October 2 5, 1914, in Appleton the son of the late Arthur and Mary (Alberty) Rossmei ssl. He resided in Appleton all of his life and was a graduate of Applet on High School. Clem was united in marriage to Margaret "Marge" Cull en on July 4, 1963, sharing 32 years together before her death in 1995. Cl em was employed by Wisconsin Bell as a right-of-way engineer for 37 year s, retiring in 1977. Clem will be remembered as a devoted husband and fath er and a true golf enthusiast. He enjoyed working in his yard and especial ly enjoyed visiting with his grandchildren.Survivors include his son Richard "Rick" (Lisa) Rossmeissl, Memphis, TN; t hree grandchildren: Greta, Cullen, and Veronica Rossmeissl; sister-in-la w, Margaret Rossmeissl, Appleton; also nieces, nephews, and dear friendIn addition to his parents, Clem was preceded in death by two brothers: Jo seph and James Rossmeissl.The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday March 14 th at St. Mary Catholic Church, 312 S.
