Obituary:
Clifford Huolihan, age 73, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2007, at Appleton Medical Center. He was born on June 30, 1934, in Appleton, to Beau and Mildred (Plutz) Huolihan. He attended Appleton High School. Clifford met his wife Nancy Rohm in Appleton and was married at St Pius X Catholic Church on August 22, 1959. He worked for Fort James Corporation and retired in 1997 after 39 years of service. Clifford was an avid gardener and was his own neighborhood watch. He drove a school bus for many years and was a personal driver for his grandchildren and friends in his big blue suburban.
Clifford is survived by his wife; Nancy, children; Constance (Terry) Schauman of Menasha, Rick (Cyndi) Huolihan of Appleton, Kelly (Rob) Kittel of Wausau, grandchildren; Jake and Sam Huolihan, Ashley Huolihan and Emily and Clark Kittel, brothers and sisters; Gordon (Jan) Huolihan, Anna Kading, Joyce (Ron) Haberland, Virginia (Harvey) Judkins, Michael Huolihan and special friend Rose, George (Sue) Huolihan, David Huolihan, brother-in-law; John Rohm and special friend Linda, sister-in-laws; Linda (Richard) Kriewaldt and Marla Rohm.
He is preceded in death by his parents; grandson; Ben Huolihan, mother and father-in-law; Gordon and Lauretta Rohm and special brother-in-law; Earl Kading.
Services will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2007, at St Pius X Catholic Church at 11:30 a.m. with Fr. Thomas J. Farrell officiating. Visitation will be at Valley Funeral Home Wednesday, December 19, 2007, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with Deacon Rick Simon providing a prayer service. Visitation will be at St Pius X Catholic Church on Thursday, December 20, 2007, from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
