    Obituary:
    Alvin G. Spang, 79, of Chilton, died on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Chilton Care Center.
    He was born November 11, 1935 in Hilbert, son of the late Nicholas and Leta (Baker) Spang.
    Alvin proudly served his country in the United States National Guard from 1954 to 1957. Alvin also worked for Menasha Corporation for about twenty-five years.
    He enjoyed farming, playing Bingo and Cards, as well as joining in the singing activities at Chilton Care Center.
    Survivors include his five sisters and brother, Phyllis (Marvin) Gerhartz of Stockbridge, Dorothy Spang of Maryville, TN, Judith Spang of Green Bay, and the twins, Nanetta Penterman of Kaukauna and Nicholas Spang of Beaver Dam; five nieces; nine nephews; four great nieces; five great nephews; a great great niece; and many other relatives and friends.
    Alvin was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Richard Penterman.
    Funeral Services will be at 11:30am on Monday, May 4, 2015 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (54 E. Main Street) in Chilton, Wisconsin with the Rev. Ryan Krueger officiating. Entombment will be in Knollwood Mausoleum in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Friends may call at Good Shepherd Catholic Church from 9:30am to 11:15am on Monday, May 4, 2015.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Alvin's name.
    Alvin's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caregivers at Chilton Care Center for the care and compassion shown to him
