Obituary:
Mrs. John Verkuilen, an esteemed and well known lady of our community, passed away in Hillsboro, Wis., on Monday forenoon, Aug. 25, 1947 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John A. Cesnik. She had been in failing health for the past year. During the last few weeks her condition had been critical.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 9:30 in St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Thorp. The Rev. A.M. Muckerheide, pastor, will offer a Requiem Mass. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Parish Cemetery with six grandsons as pallbearers.
Hattie Driessen Verkuilen, daughter of the former John and Mary Driessen was born near Dundas, Wis., Jan. 24th, 1867. In that community she grew to young womanhood. She was carried to John Verkuilen, June 12, 1893 in the Church of St. Francis at Hollandtown, Wis. About the year 1894, with their daughter Mayme, they moved to the town of Worden, Clark County, where they built their first log home, a few miles south of Stanley. With her husband and four children they moved to the present Verkuilen farm. This was in 1901 and they lived here for twenty-five years. Upon their retirement in 1927, they built their home in Thorp. The farm home has since then been in possession of their son Walter.
Surviving Mrs. Verkuilen are two sons, Walter W. of the home farm in the town of Worden, and Michael A., Gary, Indiana; five daughters, Josephine) Mrs. John Vandeyacht of Little Chute, (Florence) Mrs. John A. Cesnik of Hillsboro, (Susan) Mrs. Henry H. Hermsen of Little Chute, Elsie of Milwaukee, and Leona of Seattle Washington; four brothers, Fred of Thorp, Henry, Stanley and Ed of Kaukauna, and Mike of Dundas; 22 grandchildren and one great-grandchildren. Also 78 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, who passed away Jan. 24, 1936, one daughter Mayme in 1922, and also John in 1920.
Mrs. Verkuilen was a member of the Christian Mother's Society, in which she took a very active part for many years.
A lady of kindly personality, she will ever be remembered as a lovely mother, a loyal friend and neighbor.

Biography:
EDWARD G. DREISSEN, the proprietor of one of Kaukauna's leading meat markets, and a self-made business man, was born in Buchanan township, Outagamie county, Wisconsin, October 20, 1876, and is a son of John and Mary (Til lman) Dreissen, natives of Holland. Mr. Dreissen's parents came to the Uni ted States in 1851, and, taking up wild land, engaged in farming. John Dre issen is now residing in Woodville township, his farm being located on t he township line. He and his wife had a family of eleven children, of wh om ten are now living. Edward G. Dreissen received a country school educat ion, and in 1892 started to work in a butcher shop at Kaukauna, and duri ng the following year opened an establishment of his own. He has continu ed in the same business to the present time, and now has a well-ordered es tablishment, catering to some of Kaukauna's best trade. On November 9, 189 8, Mr. Dreissen was united in marriage with Miss Henrietta Wheaton, of Kau kauna, who died November 19, 1905, and on April 9, 1907, he married (secon d) Lucy King, of Hilbert, Wisconsin. Mr. Dreissen has four children: Evere tt, Quintem, Lozell and Margaret. He and Mrs. Dreissen are faithful membe rs of the Holy Cross congregation of the Catholic Church, and he holds mem bership in the Knights of Columbus.

Driessen, Robert E.680 Elder berry LaneKaukaunaAge 89, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, November 13, 200 3. Bob was born in Kaukauna on May 1, 1914, son of the late Edward and Lu cy (King) Driessen. On September 1, 1941, he married the former Marian Coe nen in Little Chute; she survives. As a young man, the local newspapers pr oclaimed him "The Wizard of the Saw." As the years, passed, the title beca me very accurate, for until his final day was known by all as a talented a nd creative woodworker. For many years, Bob was employed at Giddings and L ewis, and retired as the inspection department supervisor. He was employ ed there for a total for forty-five years. Bob was a gifted wood-worker, a nd shared his talents with many over the years. Many will remember the cou ntless hours he donated to the St. Paul Manor, helping to build staircase s, countertops, and picture frames there. In 1966, he began constructi on on the family summer home on White Potato Lake. In 1976, he retired a nd made the cottage his full-time home. There he continued with his woodwo rking and made a variety of items for his home, yard, and family members a nd friends. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his beloved grandchildr en and great-grandchildren. Some of them have inherited his woodworking ab ilities!Bob is survived by his wife of sixty-two years: Marian Driessen of Kaukaun a; three children: Karen Geyso of Kaukauna; Robert F. Nub was born May 1, 1914 in Kaukauna, son of the l ate Edward G. and Lucy (King) Driessen. On May 20, 1941, he married the fo rmer Ann Van Wymeren in Little Chute; she survives. Nub was a skilled patt ern maker, and was employed over the years by Thilmany Pulp and Paper, Gid dings and Lewis, and eventually retired from the Appleton Pattern Works. N ub was also an expert gardener, and many will remember his wonderful veget able and flower gardens. Each year he created a beautiful flower-filled ga rden for all to admire and enjoy. Age 96, died peacefully on February 15, 2014, surrounded by family and close friends, in the same Kaukauna, Wisconsin home in which he was born and resided his entire life, except during his Army service in the Pacific during World War II.

Born May 17, 1917 to Edward G. and Lucy King Driessen, his graduation from Kaukauna High School in 1935 was followed by employment never farther from his front door than one block: short order cook, banker, co-owner of a hardware store and, finally, joined the Wisconsin Gas Company from which he retired as District Manager in 1982.

Wed to Frances Hopfensperger in 1946, she preceded him in death in 2004. Also preceding him was a son, Christopher along with his seven siblings and their spouses: Everett (Julia), Quentin (Helen), Lozelle (Jule) Schommer, Margaret (Ronald) Reetz, Robert (Marion), Norbert "Nub" (Ann), Floyd (Marian).
Leo was a true Renaissance man who never stopped learning through voracious reading and constant involvement in activities. Where modern technology is concerned, Leo learned the basics of email and the internet but, generally, left those to his grandchildren. Beyond being an exceptional carpenter, renovating 119 Doty Street throughout his life, he was an expert gardener and soup maker.
Serving nearly 3 years of WWII in the Pacific, honorably discharged in 1946, and later joining the Army Reserves, he retired from the Army in 1967 at the rank of Command Sergeant Major.

Prior to his 1982 retirement from Wisconsin Gas Company (now WE Energy)he taught himself the art of wood carving and, over the subsequent years, created a multitude of stunning works of art that continue to enhance the beauty of churches, libraries, city halls, and businesses and homes throughout Wisconsin and beyond. He was able to enjoy his woodworking into his 95th year.

Following his retirement as district manager for the Wisconsin Gas Company, Leo became heavily involved in "his" community and hometown. Along with his friend and fellow retiree, Marvin Schumacher, Leo enlisted the skills and aid of a group of other retirees who built the first story of our current Kaukauna Chamber of Commerce. Beyond that, Mr. Driessen was instrumental in the establishment of part one of Kaukauna's Industrial Park, promoting it and encouraging businesses to relocate to the area. Leo helped raise funds for a number of projects in Kaukauna including Kaukauna's Friends and Family sculpture garden and the KHS's Galloping Ghost bronze. Along with his good friend Oscar Boldt, Leo was a founding member of the Fox Valley Community Foundation and, in his spare time, pursued a newfound love of opera. Devoted to family, community and country, he was active in Rotary International for 45 years, served on the Kaukauna School Board and several hospital boards, while lovingly conveying his passions and skills to his children and grandchildren.

Leo eagerly embraced life and all the opportunities and challenges it offered, accepted difficulties and painful losses, and epitomized his belief that people don't stop playing, working and learning because they get old, they get old because they stop.

The family offers heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Jack Meyer for his many years of doctoring and befriending Leo, as well as Bright Star Home Care whose loving assistance allowed Leo to remain in his home for the last eight months of his life--dying where he'd been born 96 9/12 years ago--in particular Carol Brauer and aides, Michelle, Ina, Diane and Shantal. We also extend our gratitude to Affinity Visiting Nurses and Hospice, for all their help over the last 2 months of Leo's life, especially the PT, OT and volunteer staff, Social Workers and RNs especially Shelly, Tracy, Barbie, and Cass; dear friends Tom Nelson and Mike Weaver - who is Senior Ride Captain for the Patriot Guard Riders.

A memorial service for Leo will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, February 21, 2014 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kaukauna, with a reception to follow. Family and friends are invited to gather at the church on Friday afternoon beginning at 4:00 PM.

Esther was joined in marriage to Quinten DeBruin on February 19, 1947 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Hollandtown.
Esther was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Appleton, WI. Esther enjoyed family gatherings, playing sheephead, crocheting, collecting dolls, cookie jars, and Elvis plates. She also enjoyed auctions and bingo. Esther loved the Milwaukee Brewers, Wisconsin Badgers, and Brett Favre. Esther was a homemaker her entire life and loved taking care of her husband and children.
Esther is survived by her sons Don (Lynne) and Jim (Helen) and her grandchildren Todd (Meredith), DeBruin, Corey DeBruin, Holly (Justin) Wessel, Jessica DeBruin, Paul (Jennifer) Kropidlowski, and Sabrina (Todd) DeBruin, her great grandchildren Camdon, McKinley, Helena, Benson, Brielyn, Brandon, Coty, Lance, Chandler, and Felicity. and three great great grandchildren. Barney Driessen, age 95, passed away at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna on Saturday, December 2, 2017. Barney was born in the town of Woodville on September 2, 1922, son of the late Michael and Bertha (Ver Bockel) Driessen. He married Mary Van Roy on February 7, 1946.
Barney was a life-long member of St. Katharine Drexel (St. Francis) Parish in Hollandtown, worked on the family farm for over forty years, worked at Thilmany Pulp and Paper, and plowed snow and worked on the town roads in Woodville for many years before becoming Town Chairman. He held the Chairman position for twenty-four years. Being a busy man, he also found time to work at the Dundas Canning Factory as well as delivering milk and eggs to migrant workers in the area.
Barney was a very active member of the Dusty Trails Snowmobile Club, and drove his four-wheeler well into his 90's. He had a great love of fishing, bowling, baseball, and playing sheepshead, cribbage, and scott with his many friends. He enjoyed being an umpire in Hollandtown for the youth baseball program, loved to watch his sons play football, and loved to cheer on the Packers and the Brewers. Two of his great joys were going to Dan and Lyn's cottage up north, as well as trips to the casino.
Barney is survived by seven children: Carol (Ed) Carroll of Hollandtown, Lyn (Dan) Smith of Hollandtown, Pat (Larry, deceased) Jensen of Waupaca, Jerry (Peg) Driessen of Kaukauna, Tom (Vicki) Driessen of Kaukauna, Dick (Linda) Driessen of Kaukauna, and Bill Driessen of Brillion. He also leaves behind a sister: Esther DeBruin, and a sister-in-law: Josie Robinson. There are also seventeen grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary in 1990, and infant son Dennis Gary, his in-laws Martin and Frances Van Roy; his faithful companion of twenty-three years Ag Liebergen; two brothers Ray (Florence) Driessen and Harvey (Minnie, Erma) Driessen; a sister Helen (Jack) Mader; and in-laws Quinten DeBruin, Casey (Marge) Van Roy, Toni (Elmer) Lopas, Gerald Grissman, Grace (Melvin) Graf, Edward Wirth, and Don Robinson.
The funeral liturgy for Barney will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH - ST. FRANCIS CHURCH in Hollandtown, with Msgr. James Vanden Hogen officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather at the church on Wednesday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. Staff Sgt. Norbert J. Vande Yacht was honorably discharged from the Army September 18 at Camp McCoy. He had been in the service four years and five months, 32 months of which were spent overseas with the fifth Air Force as a mechanic in the South Pacific. His decorations include the Asiatic Pacific ribbon with three battle stars, the American defense medal with one bronze star, the presidential citation and the good conduct ribbon. He will return to his former work at a garage in Hollandtown which his father owns.

Nubs was born in the town of Holla nd on October 16, 1918, son of the late . On June 18, 1946, he was unit ed in marriage to the former Marie Horn; she preceded him in death on Janu ary 5, 2004. Nubs owned and operated Vandeyacht’s Garage for many year s, a business his father began in 1918. Nubs retired in 1978, but his s on still operates a Vandeyacht’s Garage near his home in Arizona.A former member of the United States Army Air Corps, during World War II N ubs served in the Pacific Theatre. Lillian Helen (Vandeyacht) Lauer, formerly of Clintonville, Wis., died on April 27, 2011, in Los Gatos, Calif. Lillian was born on June 13, 1924, and grew up in Hollandtown and Dundas, Wis. She was the only daughter among four children of Benedict Vandeyacht and Henrietta Nickles.
She earned a degree in Nutrition from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minn., and was a consulting dietician at various hospitals and nursing homes. She married Ralph M. Lauer on Sept. 16, 1946, and moved to Clintonville, where she raised four children.
Lillian excelled at life. She was a skilled cook, gardener, canner, seamstress, and she could run a law office and start a business. She was an avid golfer and a skilled duplicate bridge player. After the death of her husband, she continued a productive life in California near her children with a wide circle of friends. Lillian faced many challenges in her life and yet always gave her children and friends her full love and support. They will cherish their memories of Lillian, her honesty, strength, and beauty, her homemaking, and her love of life.
She is survived by two daughters, Sue Ann Lauer, Bolivia; Jane Barker, New York City; two sons, Michael Lauer, Los Gatos, Calif.; and Charles, San Jose, Calif.; and two grandsons, Ryan Barker and Shane Lauer.

Clifford G. VandeYacht; 450 V an St., Hollandtown Kaukauna Age 71, died Sunday, July 9, 2000, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Ba y, following a short battle with cancer. He was born July 13, 192 8, in Dundas, Wisconsin, son of the late Ben and "Heinie" VandeYach t. On June 17, 1958, Cliff married the former Kathleen Burich at St. Mary 's Catholic Church in Brillion. Cliff retired as owner of Brooks Oil C o. He was an avid Packer fan and was a season ticker holder dating ba ck to the days of the old East Stadium. He was a member of St. Francis Cat holic Church, Hollandtown, and was an officer of the St. Francis SCHUT Soc iety. He was also a member of the Leo Van Roy Post 265 of the American Leg ion-Darboy. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Kathleen, Hollandtown; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin ( Tammy) VandeYacht, Little Chute; Stephen (Cheri) VandeYacht, Hollandtow n; two daughters and sons-in-law, Claire (Scott) Smith, Antigo; Kay (Scot t) Bahn, Neenah; four grandchildren, Simone and Reid VandeYacht, Cole Vand eYacht and Michael Smith; one sister, Lillian Lauer, California. Vandeyacht, Arthur J. “Art”Arthur J. “Art” Vandeyacht, Combined Locks, 75, passed away Friday, Oct. 2 9, 2004 at Parkside Care Center in Little Chute. Art was born in Little Ch ute on Jan. 15, 1929, son of the late John and Josephine (Verkuilen) Vande yacht. For over 40 years, he had worked for Kimberly Clark mill in Kimberl y, and retired in 1991 from RePap. On Sept. 4, 1952, Art married the form er JoAnn Lauer at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Stephensville. Art serv ed for a time in the National Guard, and eventually joined the 318th Ar my Band. Throughout the years, Art also played the clarinet and saxopho ne with various dance bands, the Appleton City Band, Kimberly Community Ba nd, and for many years with the Little Chute Community Band. During the ea rly days of the Lombardi Era, Art also played in the Green Bay Packers Ban d. He enjoyed bird watching, caring for his roses and garden, and was an a vid Packer Fan. He and JoAnn were members of the Outagamie County Historic al Society, the Green Bay Botanical Garden, and were faithful and active m embers of St. Paul Catholic Church in Combined Locks.Art is survived by his wife of 52 years: JoAnn Vandeyacht of Combined Lock s; eight children: Ann Betz of Crete, Ill.; Karen (James) Worden of Litt le Chute; Julie M. She was born Nov. 4, 1935, in Little Chute to John and Josephine (Verkuilen) Vandeyacht. Irma met and married Kenneth Levy in Brooklyn, New York, while working as the head nurse in Brookdale Hospital Medical Center's Emergency Room. Upon retirement they moved to Kaukauna, Wis.

HERMSEN, Jerome M. Jerome M. Hermsen, 73, beloved husband of LaVerne (Hietpas) Hermsen, of West Hartford, died Saturday (October 11, 2008). Born in Little Chute, WI, the son of the late Henry and Susan (Verkuilen) Hermsen, he made his home in West Hartford the past 40 years. Jerry graduated from St. John's University in Collegeville, MN Class of 1957 and served in the U.S. Army as a 1st lt. He worked for The Hartford Group as an Underwriter in their Property and Casualty Dept retiring in 2001 after 43 years of employment, and was Associate Professor at The University of Connecticut Insurance School. Jerry received many professional certifications including CPCU, Risk Management and CIC. He was a member of the Insurance Institute of America, was an active member and Eucharistic Minister at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, was active on numerous school boards throughout West Hartford, was chairman of the 2nd district of the Republican Committee, and was a proud member of Toastmasters. Marion T. McNew, 73, of Conway passed away Monday (Dec. 24, 2007) at Conway Regional Medical Center.
She was born May 24, 1934, in Dundas, Wisc., to the late Michael and Delia (Driessen) Brooks.
Marion devoted her life to the care of children. She was a foster parent for countless children throughout her lifetime, sharing her love with each child. However, she took her greatest delight in caring for infants. In her later years, she was a foster mother for Catholic Charities Adoption.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Christian Ladies Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Royce McNew, an infant sister, Doris Mae Brooks, a brother, Bernard Brooks, and twin granddaughters, Theresa Ann and Mary Elizabeth Jones.
She is survived by her daughter, Molly J. Jones and husband Wesley of Conway; a grandson, Harrison Royce Jones; a sister, Margie Schmidt and husband Donald of Crivitz, Wisconsin; two sisters-in-law, Ann Naylor and Edith Moring, both of Conway; a dear friend, Arnold Reeves of Conway; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with interment following at McNew Cemetery in Greenbrier.

Robert F. Driessen, Kaukauna, age 71, died at his home Thursday, March 10, 2016. He was born in Kaukauna on September 18, 1944 to the late Robert and Marian (Coenen) Driessen. Robert married Bonnie Steffens at Holy Cross Parish on May 1, 1965. She preceded him in death on June 26, 2010. Bob owned and operated American Auto Transmission until his retirement in 2014. Bob was the president of Venture Touring Society (VTS) and was a member of the Valley Vettes. Together, he and Bonnie loved to ride around in their Corvette. In his younger years, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

Richard "Rick" Driessen, 68, Kaukauna passed away unexpectedly on May 21, 2014 with his family at his side. Rick was born on February 24, 1946 to Robert and Marian (Coenen) Driessen. He was a 1964 graduate of Kaukauna High School. On April 6, 1968 he married the former Elizabeth "Betty" Van Dyke and they enjoyed over 46 years together. Rick was employed as a Senior Process Piping Designer, working for many years with S.J. Baisch and most recently with M.S.B. Corporation. He retired from M.S.B. Corporation in 2010. In his younger days, Rick was very close to his father, who passed his love of woodworking to Rick. He was a very loving and concerned husband who always put his family before himself. He was also a very proud father and grandfather. Time with his family and trips to Mexico with Betty were always cherished. Rick was a very sensitive man with a very big heart. He would do anything to help anyone, especially his friends and family. He was a very strong man and was very passionate about the things he loved. He enjoyed working with his hands, remodeling his home, landscaping and gardening. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and drives in the country. He was a fan of all Wisconsin sports. He loved the Badgers, Brewers, and especially the Packers.
Rick is survived by his wife, Betty; his children: Robin (Scott) Driessen Bruecker and their son, Jake; Darin (Michelle) Driessen and their children: Megan and Kenzi; Traci (Brandon) Powell and their son, Brayden; his sister: Karen Geyso and brother: Robert Driessen, Jr.; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marian Driessen, a brother: Daryl Driessen; a sister-in-law: Bonnie Driessen, and a brother-in-law: Bill Geyso.
The funeral liturgy will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 24 at Holy Cross Church, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Glen W. Lappen, Kaukauna. age 85, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2013, surrounded by his family at St. Paul Elder Services after a brave battle with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. Glen was born on November 27, 1927 in Kaukauna, the son of the late Joseph and Alma (Borree) Lappen. After graduating from Kaukauna High School in 1945, Glen enlisted in the Navy from 1945 - 1947. He served and participated in "Operations Crossroads Atomic Bomb Testing" in the Marshall Islands. Glen served his country proudly and was proud to be a Navy Veteran. Glen was employed at Thilmany Paper Mill for over 40 years until his retirement. In his retirement years he loved to take care of all of his grandchildren. They became the light of his life! He also enjoyed the addition of his lake home at Legend Lake where he could fix more things, relax on his pontoon boat, fishing, and eating Cheetos surrounded by his best fur friends; Maggie and DJ. Glen was a very faith filled man and an active member of St. Aloysius parish for many years. He was happiest with a dog at his side and a baby to rock on his lap!
Glen met and married the "love of his life", Patricia (Taylor) Lappen on October 6, 1951 in Kaukauna, she survives. From that marriage came 4 children (all whom survive him today): son: Tom (Mary) and their 2 daughters: Rebecca, Appleton and Elizabeth, Pennsylvania; twin daughters: Kay (Michel) DeYoung, Appleton, WI and her 2 sons: Matthew Verhagen, Appleton and Joshua Verhagen, Kaukauna; Karen (Dean) Sinclair, Jackson, WI and their 2 daughters: Lieza Sinclair, Kaukauna and Lauren (Nate) Evans, Milwaukee; son, Tim (Michelle Neeck) Lappen and their daughter; Chloe Lappen, Appleton; great-grandchildren: Elijah (Buddy) Sinclair, twins: Faith and Will Evans, Audrey Evans and Nahla Sinclair. Glen is further survived by his brother Bill (Ellen) Lappen, Oconto Falls, WI; 2 brothers-in-law: William (Branca) Taylor, Littleton, CO and Richard (Marge) Taylor; sister-in-law: Mary (Taylor) and Carl Engerson, Mobile, AL; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his: parents, 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, Robert, Don (Mary) Lappen, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Marie Taylor McGinnis and Lyle McGinnis.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH at ST. ALOYSIUS CHURCH, 2401 Main Ave., Kaukauna with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. John I. Arnoldussen, age 84, of Kaukauna, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2008, at Golden Ventures. John was born February 2, 1924, to the late Edward and Lucy (Bowers) Arnoldussen. On July 27, 1943, he was united in marriage to Joyce Johnson at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kaukauna and together they enjoyed 60 years of marriage. John was a World War II Army Veteran and was a dedicated patriot involved in various military organizations and their functions. One of his many passions was his collection of John Wayne memorabilia.
He is survived by his five sons: John (Chris), CA, James (Jeannie), OK, Marshall (Maria) CA, Stuart (Aminta), TX, and Dennis (Jennifer) AR; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; six brothers and sisters: Theresa Rosenthal, Appleton, Phyllis (Marvin) Van Deraa, Kaukauna, Joseph Arnoldussen, Appleton, Ervin (Donna) Arnoldussen, Kaukauna, Sr. Mary Arnoldussen, F.S.P.A., Menasha, and Dale (Mary) Arnoldussen. He is further survived by two sisters-in-law, Patricia Arnoldussen and Jan Arnoldussen, two brothers-in-law, Marvin Hartzeim and Eugene Onkels, numerous nieces, nephews, and Joyce's brother, Leon Williamson.

Theresa J. Rosenthal, 76, Appleton, formerly of Brillion, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at Heartwood Homes in Appleton. Theresa was born on Oct. 10, 1933, in Kaukauna, daughter of the late Edward and Lucy (Bowers) Arnoldussen. On March 10, 1956, she was united in marriage to Walter Rosenthal. The couple enjoyed 32 years together until his death in 1988.
She is survived by two daughters, Marilyn (Tom) Harper, West Bend; and Marcia (Alvin) Beyer, Greenleaf; three sons, Walter Rosenthal, Brillion; Edward (Annette) Rosenthal, Appleton; and Paul (Anita) Rosenthal, Greenville; two sisters, Phyllis (Marvin) Van Deraa and Sister Mary Arnoldussen; three brothers, Joseph (Cathy) Arnoldussen, Ervin (Donna) Arnoldussen and Dale (Mary) Arnoldussen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Bernice (Ben) Harris, Jennie (Marvin) Hartzheim, Eunice (Eugene) Onkels and Gladys (Gus) Sack; and three brothers, John (Joyce) Arnoldussen, Clayton (Jan) Arnoldussen and Gerald (Pat) Arnoldussen.
A Funeral Service for Theresa will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19, at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Lederer Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral chapel and after 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of service. Interment will take place at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Kaukauna.
