    Bernadine Wyngaard, 89, of Kimberly, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2012 at the New London Medical Center. Bernadine was born on June 3, 1923, in Kimberly to Frank and Matilda (Goetz) Van Groll. On February 24, 1944, she married Jerome Wyngaard. Bern lived life to the fullest! She was a hard worker who loved to have fun at the same time. Bern was always ready to play 500 rummy, knit, crochet, and lend a helping hand. Her wit kept you laughing. Bern had a strong faith and was a member of Holy Name Parish. She was a dedicated Mom and her passion was spending time with her family and friends.
    Bernadine is survived by four children; Jerry (Candy) Wyngaard of Amelia, Virginia, Judy Ebert of Shawano, Jack (Sandy) Wyngaard of Mountain Home, Idaho, and Joe (Renee) Wyngaard of Weyauwega, 14 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bern was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jerome, a sister Dorothy, and a brother Bob.
    The funeral liturgy for Bernadine will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2012, at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH, 620 E. Kimberly Ave. at 5:00 PM with Fr. James Vanden Hogen officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday from 3:00PM until the time of the mass. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park on Friday, July 13, 2012, at 11:00 AM.

    Chester J. Dietzen, 70, passed away on Friday, Nov. 20, 2009. He was born Dec. 21, 1938, to John and Alice (Schwalbach) Dietzen. After graduating from St. Mary Central High School in 1957, Chester served in the Air Force for six years. He married Lilas Meier on June 18, 1963. While serving in the Air Force and stationed in Japan, Chester organized the first Little League game between two Japanese teams. He was involved in a wide range of youth and civic organizations over his lifetime including Holy Angels basketball, Boy Scouts, Volunteers in Probation, Appleton Foxes, and was currently serving on the Town of Harrison and Calumet County Boards as a supervisor and on the Wisconsin Towns Association board.
    Chester is survived by his sons Douglas, Russell (Nancy Jo), Michael, Gregory (Laurie), Steven (Pami), and Daniel, grandchildren Kyra, Avery, Bailey, Katlynn, Jack and Kyle. He is further survived by his brothers Paul (Judy), and Ray (Carrie), brothers and sisters in law, Jan Dietzen, Claude, and Robert Meier, Lovey Halfmann, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
    Chester was preceded in death by his wife Lilas, his parents, John and Alice Dietzen, his mother and father in law, Peter and Verona (Hilger) Meier, his brother Andy, brothers and sisters in law Donald Meier, Clifford and Delores Meier, Merlin and Bernie Meier, Donald Halfman and Sylvia Meier.
    A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, at St Bernadette Church with the Rev. Don Zuleger officiating. Visitation will be held at church on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, from 4 to 7 p.m., visitation will continue from 9 until the hour of Mass on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.

    Andrew C. "Andy" Dietzen Sr. Appleton, WI, age 60, died unexpectedly in Ohio on Monday evening June 8, 2009. He was born June 6, 1949, in Appleton, the son of John "Hans" and Alice Dietzen. Andy was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and served hi s country in the Vietnam War. He was a trainer and mentor for Swift Transportation. His life was his family. He spent as much time with them as he could. Andy was always trying to make someone smile with his jokes and uplifting personality. He liv ed his life to the fullest with his family and friends always by his side.
    Andy is survived by his wife, Janice M.     Lynn A. Weigman, age 55, of Kimberly, passed away peacefully with her fami ly at her side, Thursday, March 4, 2004 at Theda Clark Medical Center, Nee nah. Lynn was born January 14, 1949 to the late Anton and Eunice (Ashaue r) Dietzen. She married Stephen C. (Wiggie) Weigman on February 24, 19 73 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Appleton. Lynn enjoyed sewing, pla ying games, going to the casino and spending time with her family and frie nds.
    She is survived by her husband, Steve and their two daughters: Amy, Colora do and Katie (John) Carew, Combined Locks. She will also be missed by h er brothers Dennis (Barb) Dietzen of Darboy and their children Tim (Jennif er) and Jen. Tom (Annette) Dietzen, Seymour, and their children Kelsey a nd Trace.     Thomas A. Dietzen, age 53, of Seymour, passed away Wednesday evening, May 6, 2009, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born December 29, 1955, to the late Anton "Tony" and Eunice (Ashauer) Dietzen, in Appleton, was raised in Darboy and then became a resident of Seymour. Tom had been employed by Miller Electric for 35 years and for a period of time, Tom and his siblings owned and operated the Tri County Golf Range, Darboy. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, sturgeon spearing, the Packers, NASCAR and had just recently purchased his dream Harley and had enjoyed one short ride. Tom was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour.
    He is survived by two children: Kelsey and Trace Dietzen, both at home; a brother, Dennis (Barb) Dietzen, Darboy; a brother-in-law, Steve Weigman, Kimberly; a nephew, Tim (Jennifer) Dietzen, Freedom; three nieces: Jen (Eric) Drumm, Fox Point, WI; Amy (Jeff) Grilli, Colorado; his godchild, Katie (John) Carew, Combined Locks; and his special friend, Sherry Manteuffel and her family; his former wife Annette Dietzen; and his dog, Angel.
    He was preceded in death by his sister, Lynn Weigman.

    Susan M. Liebergen, age 72, of Appleton, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. Susan was born on July 25, 1944, in Appleton, to Marian (Zornow) Van Groll and the late Robert Van Groll. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Susan was a long-time employee of K Mart in Appleton. She made many friends while at K Mart and regularly kept in touch with her fellow employees. Susan was well-known as a talented seamstress, enjoyed reading and discovering bargains at thrift shops. However, her true passion was her family. She was a faithful and dedicated mother, and was "a rock" to her two granddaughters. Susan taught Stefanie and Emma sewing, crafting and the enjoyment of puzzles. She was always there for them.
    Survivors include her mother, Marian Van Groll, Lakewood, Wisconsin; her sons, Scott (Michelle) Liebergen, Appleton, and their daughter, Stefanie (fiancé Zach); Todd Liebergen (fiancée Joan), Nashville, Tennessee; Jeffrey (Catherine) Liebergen, Oshkosh, and their daughter, Emma; her brother, Peter (Donna) Van Groll; her sisters, Linda Kruse, Kathy (Dan) Kennedy and Amy (Dick) Heegeman. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was born in Appleton on Dec. 23, 1974.Andy enjoyed working with his hands on everything from computers to cars a nd was the kind of friend that everybody needs.He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Katie; parents: Mike (Charlene) V anden Boomen and Sandy (Kenny) Cummings; brother, Chad (Jamie) Vanden Boom en and their sons, Noah and Conner; sister, Jenny (special friend David We ber II) Vanden Boomen; step-brother, Matt Kolakowski; two step-sisters: Li sa Kolakowski and Lindsay Cummings; paternal grandparents: Arnie and Joan ne Vanden Boomen and maternal grandmother, Margie Kraus; three uncles: Da ve (Lora) Vanden Boomen, Rick ("Charlie") Vanden Boomen and Terry (Kath y) Kraus; an aunt: Tracy (Mike) Willard; seven cousins and a very speci al friend, Deanna Siewert.He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: Edward Kraus.The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 20 04 at Peace United Methodist Church, 2300 Wisconsin Ave, Kaukauna, with Pa stor Tim Albrecht officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 4 u ntil 8 p.m. at Valley Funeral Home and again at the church on Wednesday fr om 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
