Guntlisbergen, Elizabeth M.Elizabeth M. Guntlisbergen, 79, De Pere, formerly of Oneida, passed away M onday evening at her home. She was born May 1, 1923, in De Pere, daught er of the late John and Mary (Ven Rooy) VanDenHeuvel. On June 17, 1944, F r. Van Oeffel united her in marriage to Walter Guntlisbergen at St. Bonifa ce Catholic Church. Elizabeth was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Churc h, Oneida. She was a member of the Christian Mothers, a volunteer at An na John Nursing Home and the Bookkeeper for the parish cemetery for 35 yea rs. Elizabeth was an avid card player, and enjoyed her involvement in Ren ew and Bible Studies. She loved her children and grandchildren and great-g randchildren very much.Survivors include her husband Walter; her children, Arnold Guntlisberge n, Mary (Max) Behrendt, John (Beth) Guntlisbergen, Jane (Gene) Meiser, a nd Carol (Bob) Lenz; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren furth er survive her. Harold W. Vanden Heuvel, age 94 of De Pere died surrounded by family on Thursday September 12, 2013. Harold was born on August 22, 1919 in the Town of Lawrence to the late William and Agnes (Vanden Heuvel) Vanden Heuvel. He married Arleen Roffers at St. Boniface Church in De Pere. Harold graduated from Grant School in the Town of Lawrence. He was a dairy farmer and farmed the home farm all his life and always enjoyed having a garden. Harold was a volunteer fireman for 15 years for the Town of Lawrence Fire Department. Harold is a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish and was an usher for many years. He also was a member of Catholic Financial Life and was supportive of St. Norbert College. Harold will be greatly missed. Surviving Harold is his loving wife Arleen and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Mary J. Vanden Hoogen (Mae Albers), 89, De Pere, passed away peacefully on Christmas Eve 2009, at a local hospital surrounded by her family. She was born May 1, 1920, to the late John and Nellie (Minten) Vanden Heuvel. On Sept. 24, 1941, she married Henry Albers and he preceded her in death on Nov. 18, 1964. She then married Herman Vanden Hoogen on Oct. 22, 1966, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 22, 1985. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Community of De Pere. She loved to play cards and go to the casino. She was a real role model to her family whom she loved to spend time with. Mae especially loved and waited for the hugs from her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Carol (Tom) Trofka, Janice (Jerry) Van Groll, Don (Janice) Albers, Betty (Joe) Vissers, Marilou (Bill) Colfax, Ann (Jerry) Henrigillis, Dorothy Vanden Hoogen, Barbara (John) Prince and Kathy (Mike) Metoxen. Della A. DeStarkey, 84, Green Bay, died on her sister Mae's birthday, Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at a local nursing home. She was born April 12, 1929, in De Pere to John and Nellie (Minten) Vanden Heuvel. Della married Donald DeStarkey in 1948, and he preceded her in death.
Della enjoyed her free time. She loved gambling with her daughters, playing cards with her nieces and nephews and for 18 years she walked everyday with her neighbor and best friend, Jane Wilson. She considered herself a people person and loved "comparing" children with her sister Mae. Della loved the Chicago Cubs.

Menasha - Edna Huelsbeck (nee Gossen) 85, Passed away on July 12, 2018. She was born at home in the Town of Hobart on March 6, 1933, to the late John and Hattie (Van Den Heuvel) Gossen. She married James Huelsbeck on April 27, 1957 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in West DePere and enjoyed 40 years of marriage before his death in September 1997. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is survived by her children: Michael (Tina) Huelsbeck, Grand Chute, Joanne (David) Kluck, Fond du Lac, Susan Seekirchner, Vienna, Austria, Jerry (Cathie) Huelsbeck, Little Chute, and Mary Huelsbeck, Monona. Ethel A Mooren, 90, De Pere was guided into the arms of the heavenly angels on November 21, 2012. Ethel was born on September 5, 1922 in Oneida Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Albert and Eva Van Den Heuvel. She married the late Joseph G. Mooren on June 1, 1944. They farmed in the Town of Oneida for many years until their retirement in 1975. Ethel was a devoted member of our Lady of Lourdes Parish. She had a passion for volunteering at St. Joe's Food Pantry, St. Vincent De Paul and St. Elizabeth hospital. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, family gatherings, and playing cards. Everyone who knew Ethel knew the rosary was always an integral part of her life.

Raymond Theodore VanDenHeuvel, 87, has left his life of leadership on Earth to join the greatest Leader of all in Heaven. Ray passed away with Pat and his family at his side at Bellin Memorial Hospital on New Year's Eve.
Ray was born on September 20, 1927 to Henry and Marie (Gevers) VanDenHeuvel. Growing up he was proud to work on the family farm in West De Pere.
Ray graduated from Nicolet High School (now West De Pere High School) in May of 1946 as the Class President. Following school, he became interested in becoming an electrician. He learned under the mentoring of Harold Janssen (Electric).
When he was 23, Ray served in the Army for two years as an MP. He returned to West De Pere and purchased Harold's electrical company.
Ray and his wife of 61 years, Patricia (Geurts) VanDenHeuvel, married on August 15, 1953. Together they began a large family, several large businesses, and a dutiful existence.
His gift of business knowledge brought him to heights he never imagined. He would start several electrical companies and construction firms, combining them in the holding company of VHC, Inc.
For several years, Ray was a Cubmaster for the Boy Scouts in De Pere. He was also on the Town of Lawrence Board and was a driving force behind its development.
In 1969, he was named the Man of the Year by the De Pere Chamber of Commerce.
Ray was President of the De Pere Rotary Club in 1972, and as such, presented "Roses for the Living" to Syble Hopp. He served many years on the Donovan School Board and was a leader in bringing the Syble Hopp School to De Pere. He enjoyed his years on the Syble Hopp Board and his friendships with Joe Donovan and Syble Hopp.
In 1976, Ray was part of the De Pere Rotary Foundation that presented the Outstanding Student Scholarship Program, a tradition that continues to this day. His interest in education led him to be an instrumental force in developing the electrical programs at NWTC.
Ray spent his life helping others by providing thousands of jobs. He was particularly proud of the long-term relationships that he enjoyed with his employees and business partners.
Locally, Ray was a donor to many causes, particularly where the needs involved the handicapped or education. Of note was the 2000 opening of the Ray VanDenHeuvel Family Campus Center at St. Norbert College and the 2002 opening of the Ray and Pat VanDenHeuvel Power Plant on the Bellin Hospital Campus.
Pat and Ray loved to travel with their family to Florida, Canada, out West, and Las Vegas.
Ray is survived by his wife Pat, and eight children whom they loved deeply and committed their entire lives to: Ron (Kelly) VanDenHeuvel, Ann (Pat) Murphy, Dave (Sandy) VanDenHeuvel, Steve (Bambi) VanDenHeuvel, Raymond II (Julie) VanDenHeuvel, Jane (Butch) Piontek, Tim (Britney) VanDenHeuvel, and Pattie (Craig) Kassner.
Ray is further survived by his grandchildren: Ronnie (Tara), Ryan (Erin), Kristie (Pat),Henry, Kate, Pat, Brian (Amy), Stacie (Ryan), Stephanie(Matt), Caithlin (Taylor), Brooke (Mike), Bobby, Matt, Alicia (James), Todd (Nicole), Brian, Alex, Cameron (Katie), Kyle, Raymond III (Becca), Brandon, Dalton, Melody, Ashley, Jake, Alley, Courtney (Jared), Valerie, Matt, Chandler, Austin, and Dayton. Ray and Pat also have 32 ¾ great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. With Ray and Pat's loving encouragement, this large extended family celebrates together several times each year. Our beloved family Patriarch will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
He is also survived by two sisters-in-law Dorothy VanDenHeuvel and Marge Geurts, and one brother-in-law Robert Mommaerts. In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by one sister, Joanie Mommaerts; two brothers and a sister-in-law Melvin (Rose) and Richard; an infant grandson Hayden; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lillian and Elmer Geurts; and brother-in-law Roger Geurts.

Dolores 'Laurie' (Van Camp) Albers, 78, passed from the loving arms of her family into the loving arms of Jesus where he took her to a place of peace and beauty on Saturday December 11, 1999. The daughter of the late John and Minnie (Vandenheuvel) Van Camp was born October 24, 1921 in Freedom. Laurie attended Kaukauna High School and graduated from Freedom High Shool. She graduated from St. Mary's School of Nursing, Green Bay and worked at all three Green Bay Hospitals. She also worked as a surgical nurse at Wis. General in Madison. On June 14, 1949, Laurie and Bernard Albers were married at Old St. Joseph Church De Pere. Laurie was a devoted member at the former St. Boniface Church where she was a lector, communion distributor, and funeral coodinator. She was a Pastoral Assistant at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, De Pere where she loved working. It gave her many hours of comfort and encouragement during her illness. Laurie also enjoyed crafts, sewing, gardening and cooking. She always had an ample supply of cookies for her children and grandchildren.

Virgil J. Van Camp passed away April 27, 2017 in Iron Mountain Veterans Hospital. He was born January 12, 1923 in Kaukauna to John and Minnie Van Camp.
He served in World War II for three years in the Army Air Corps in Japan and ground combat on Iwo Jima. He received an honorable discharge on February 26, 1946 as a Corporal. He received the Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic Pacific Service Medal, American Theater Service Medal, a star for the Air Offense in Japan, and a Ground Combat Award for being in Iwo Jima when the American Flag was raised. He was a proud member of the VFW.
Virgil owned and operated Virg's Mobil Gas Station in De Pere, WI until his move to Pembine in 1970 to raise beef cattle. With great reluctance, he sold his cattle in 2011 at the age of 88 and quit farming.
He loved hunting deer with his nephew Tom Juza. He also loved turkey and bear hunting and trout fishing with his brother Kenny.
He loved visits from friends and relation and was always ready for a game of cards. He was cared for by his two nieces: Patty Trinkner, Wendy Walak and Vance; and by his sister and brother-in-law Mary Ann and Bob Miller. The Veterans provided the Arms of Angels which came in daily to make him comfortable. Thanks to Wendy, Jessica, and Kathy form Arms of Angels. He was then moved to the Veterans Nursing Facility in February 2017 until his death of pneumonia.
Virgil is survived by his four sisters: Lillian Vissers, Rita (Clifford) Schmidt, Marge Calaway, and May Ann (Bob) Miller; his sister-in-law Nancy Van Camp; and 48 nieces and nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Minnie Van Camp; sister Laurie Albers, four brothers: Fabian, Alvin, Cyril, and Kenny Van Camp; four sisters-in-law: Barbara Van Camp, Lavern Van Camp, Audrey Van Camp, and Darlene Van Camp; three brothers-in-law: Bernard Albers, Jerome Calaway, and Bernard Vissers; two nephews: Bobby and Marty Van Camp; and his Kitty Frizzy which he had for 15 years.
He had six godchildren: his sister Mary Ann Miller, nephews Bobby Van Camp, Johnny Van Camp, Dennis Van Camp, and John Van Camp; and his niece Jane Juza.
The highlight of his life was his trip at 88 years old to the World War II Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C. in 2011 with the Old Glory Honor Flight, this was his first airplane ride in 68 years since the war.
Although never marrying he was father to 50 nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 8:30 to 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, 1307 Lourdes Ave, De Pere. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 AM with Fr. Tim Shillcox, O. Praem. officiating. Virgil will then be given his Military Funeral Honors. He will be laid to rest next to his parents in Mt Calvary Cemetery. Van Camp, FabianFabian Van Camp, 80, of De Pere died early Friday morning, January 28, 20 05 at a local hospital, following a brief illness. The son of the late Jo hn and Minnie (Van Den Heuvel) Van Camp was born October 25, 1924, in t he Town of Freedom. Fabian was a U.S. Army Veteran and served in the Batt le of the Bulge during WWII. On January 20, 1953, he married the former Au drey Van Handel at St. John Catholic Church in Little Chute.Mr. Van Camp was employed at Fort Howard Paper Company for forty year s. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, member of the Ashwaubenon V .F.W. Post 10244, and held various offices in the State and National VFW O rganizations. He was an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Chur ch, and especially enjoyed the 7:30 Daily Mass Group at church. Fabian enj oyed hunting and fishing at his cottage up north, and spending time with h is family. Alvin J. Van Camp, age 80, De Pere passed away on December 4, 2006, surrounded by his family. Al was born April 7, 1926, in Freedom to the late John and Minnie Van Camp. On October 8, 1949, he married LaVerne Van Veghel at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, Green Bay. Al retired from Fort Howard Paper after 40 years of service to the company. He enjoyed Deer Hunting, Turkey Hunting, playing cards, and going to the casino. His greatest joy however was spending time with children and grandchildren.
Al is survived by his children: Daniel (Joanne) Van Camp, Martin Van Camp, Diane Yakel, Susan (Robert) Janssen, Gerald (Patricia) Van Camp, Teresa (Ted) Fagan, 18 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. On the wings of angels we say goodbye to a man who was loved by so many in the area. A beautiful husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend who was loved by all who knew him because he truly loved and cared for all he knew. Ken was an avid fisherman and huntsman who loved the area of Crivitz where he has lived the last 14 years with his wife of 18 years, Nancy Van Camp. He served as the town supervisor and loved to serve the community sharing his wit, spinning his fishing tales and bringing a box of donuts to whomever he thought needed a cheer. Kens kids will always love him and remember him for the unconditional love he offered to all his family. Ken set the example for us all by treating others with respect and kindness. Kenneth P. Van Camp age 77, Middle Inlet has left for a time his wife Nancy Van Camp, his children John Van Camp, Lisa Dubois, and Mary Pat and Jimmy Garsow. His three children were from his first loving wife Barbara Scheer who passed on May 1st 1984. He was given another chance at love and happiness meeting Nancy and her children, Rick, Mike Tammy and Sandy Wichmann. They have been a family who will love each other and intend to carry on his legacy of honor and community service. Ken's brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends and extended family love him and will miss him. He will remain in our hearts and our lives as we move forward in his honor. Roger Joseph Vanden Heuvel, age 75, passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, June 26, 2013. Roger was born in DePere, on June 6, 1938, to the late Albert and Adell (Van De Hey)Vanden Heuvel.
Roger served in the Army Reserves and did 6 months of active duty after graduating from high school. He worked 40 plus years at the Kimberly Mill until his retirement in 2001. Roger's hobbies and passions included golfing, fishing- both water and ice, hunting with his children, building birdhouses and feeders, anything crafty, vegetable and flower gardening, going up north, cooking, grilling-especially his "famous" ribs, and mixing one of the best old-fashioneds ("wonderful ideas") you'll find. He also enjoyed playing cards and cribbage with the guys at JP's bar and attending his grandchildren's sporting events. Additionally, Roger was an avid Packer, Badger, and Brewer fan.

Marilyn A. Weber, age 79, Town of Cicero (formerly of Neenah), passed away July 17, 2011 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour. She was born on August 29, 1931, daughter of late Joseph and Anna (Van Den Heuvel) Nachtwey.
On April 3, 1965 she married Leo Weber in Appleton. Marilyn retired in 1982 from Zwickers Knitting Mill in Appleton. She lived most of her life in Neenah and moved to the Town of Cicero in 2003.
She had a knack for remembering the birthdays, anniversaries, and other important dates of the family, friends, and close acquaintances. Baking and cooking for gatherings with family and friends was one of Marilyn's favorite things to do.
Marilyn enjoyed her time spent watching the animals that would visit the yard and the hummingbirds that would come to the feeders. She also enjoyed going for car rides to the store or even just for the scenery.
In addition to her husband Leo, she is survived by her 2 sons: Dale (Ruth) Johnson, Nashville, TN; Denis (Rochelle) Johnson, Knoxville, TN; 9 grandchildren: Dale Jr., David, Christopher, Jessica, Sarah, Elizabeth, Amanda, D.J., Patrick; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; 3 step children: Mary Lynne, Larry, Shirlie; step grandchildren; step great grandchildren and step great great grandchildren; sister Eleanor DeWinter, Green Bay; 2 brothers: Joseph (Carol) Nachtwey, Green Bay; Raymond Nachtwey, Laratoga, WY; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jim worked at Fairmont Foods for over 31 years and had other employment with Red Owl, Kemps Dairy, and Fox Valley Auto Auction. He enjoyed Camping, gardening, riding his whoopie wagon, watching the Packers and Brewers, and playing both cribbage and poker at the Moose Lodge, where he was a member.
Jim is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Jo; five children, Lorri Abel, De Pere, Mary Van Den Heuvel, GA, Amy Steeno, Green Bay, Joan (Jeff) Lenhardt, Fon du Lac, Jamie (Doug) Church, Sheyboygan; 11 grandchildren, Troy, Tiffany, and Tamra Abel, Hayley and Brandon Van Den Heuvel, Nicki (Jamie) Morales, Levi Steeno, Cheyenne Lenhardt, Ashley, Doug Jr., and Damion Church; two great-grandchildren, Lexi and Kaden Morales. He is further survived by his brother, Ron (Lynn) Van Den Heuvel; his sister, Delores (Phil) Van Gheem; brother-in-law, Denis (Ruth) Kain, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, George and David Van Den Heuvel; in-laws Mickey and Millie Kain.
Visitation will be held at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere, on Tuesday, (TODAY) November 20, 2012 from 4pm until 8pm. Visitation will continue on Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Family Parish, corner of Suburban Drive and Lourdes Avenue, from 10:30am until 12 noon when a Mass of Christian Burial will be held with Fr. Edward W. VanDerLinden, 68 of the Town of Rockland died unexpectedly on Saturday evening May 11, 2013 at his home. He was born April 25, 1945 to the late Frank and Minnie (VandenHeuvel) VanDerLinden. On July 29, 1967 he married Rita Christnovich at St. Mary Catholic Church in De Pere. Ed retired from Brillion Iron Works after 40 years employment with them. He loved the outdoors, especially farming, gardening, cutting wood, and raising animals. Ed loved being with his family, especially the grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Rita, his children, Renee (Ron) Wozniak, Steve (Stacy) VanDerLinden, Jason (Friend Jodi) VanDerLinden, Ed's grandchildren, Michelle Wozniak, Stephanie (Fiancé Greg White) Wozniak, Olivia VanDerLinden, and Jacob VanDerLinden. His siblings also survive George (Pat) VanDerLinden, Mary Patterson, and his brother in law Thomas Christnovich, his sister-in-laws Carol Hendren of Heartland, Mary Schroeder of Hawkins, and Anita (Ron) Kevilus of Argonne, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, Ed was preceded in death by his parents, and three siblings, father and mother-in law, John and Bernice Christnovich and one brother-in-law, John Christnovich.

Richard J. "Dick" VanDenHeuvel, 63, of Green Bay, died Saturday, June 13, 2009, at a local hospital with his children at his side.
He was born Dec. 12, 1945, in Green Bay to Henry and Eloise (Smet) VanDenHeuvel. Dick served in the U.S. Army Reserve for 11 years and achieved the rank of Sergeant First Class. He had been employed at Proctor and Gamble for 22 years and later worked at Green Bay Cheese. Dick co-owned and operated Dick and Kar's Bar for 13 years. Dick loved hunting, fishing, camping, NASCAR, the Milwaukee Brewers, the Packers, motorcycles (Harleys) and most of all, gambling.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Penny Jo (William) Roberts, Stoddard, Wis.; a son and daughter-in-law, Rich (Shannon) VanDenHeuvel, Rhinelander; two beautiful granddaughters, Emma Roberts and Willow VanDenHeuvel; the mother of his children and good friend, Kar VanDenHeuvel; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob (Jane) VanDenHeuvel, Ed (Lois) VanDenHeuvel; 5 sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda (Cy) Daul, Mary (Curt) Pautz, Bonnie (Jim) Delaurelle, Debbie (Randy) Vogels, Jean (Jeff) Jorgensen, his mother-in-law, Helen Powell and her children, many nieces and nephews and a good friend, John Lamers.

She w as an active member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Parish, where she serv ed as Eucharistic Minister and the parking lot lady for CCD and she w as a friend to everyone.

Dick (Tricky Dick) Van Den Heuvel, 83, Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at his home. He was born February 18, 1934, in Green Bay, son of the late Peter and Mary (Peeters) Van Den Heuvel. Dick married Joyce Ducat in May 14, 1955, and she preceded him in death on February 7, 2016.
Dick owned and operated Tricky Dick's Tavern for 22 years and Tricky Dick's Specialties up until he passed away. In his early years, he worked for John Brick as Foreman of the feed mill in Wrightstown and Bellevue, and as a salesman for Fuller Brush and Combined Insurance. He was a member of the Tavern League of Wisconsin and Brown County for over 35 years, and belonged to the Catholic Order of Foresters for over 70 years. Dick was also active with the Eagles Club and Moose Lodge. He enjoyed playing cards, cribbage, betting on football games, and Pabst Blue Ribbon.
Survivors include three children: Debbie Matsen, Dawn (David) Zmek, and Dick, Jr. (Lynn) Van Den Heuvel; seven grandchildren: Kurt (Kim) Matsen, Tammi (Kurt) Kitzman, Brian Zmek, Mark Zmek, and Melissa Zmek, Danielle and Alex Van Den Heuvel; three great-grandchildren: McKenna Matsen, Mitchell Kitzman, and Quinn Kitzman; sisters and brothers-in-law: Delores Calaway, Alice Zambrowicz, Rita (Alan) Devroy, and Nancy (Rodney) Hockers; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Mary Grusznski, Clarence "Jr." Ducat, Richard (Mary) Ducat, Joann Minkel, Janet (Thomas) Breunig, Glendon "Butch" Ducat, and Jackie (Bernie) Reed; Godchild, Kevin Minkel; and many nieces and nephews.
