    Obituary:
    Melvin E. Artz, 89, Manawa, went to his Heavenly Home on Friday, Dec. 24, 2010, at St. Joseph Residence. Melvin was born on June 17, 1921, in Lebanon Township (Waupaca County), son of the late Edward and Kathryn (Martin) Artz. On Dec. 26, 1959, he was united in marriage to Frances Amador in New London. Melvin lived and farmed in the Lebanon Township his entire life and was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
    He is survived by his wife, Frances; three sons, Tom Artz (special friend Sharon), Wrightstown; Carl (Sandra) Artz, Manawa; and John Artz, Manawa; a brother, Vincent (Rose) Artz, Manawa; two sisters, Lucille Lorrig, Marion; and Kathleen (Merlin) Knorr, Shiocton. Three grandchildren, Bonnie, Kristin and Jordan. Melvin is further survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
    His parents and a sister, Eileen preceded him in death.
    Funeral Mass for Melvin will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Lebanon, with the Rev. Msgr. Dennis Lally officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
    Melvin's family would like to thank the ThedaCare at Home Hospice (they are Angels of Mercy), also the nursing staff at St. Joseph Residence for their compassionate care, all will be remembered and close to our hearts. Also a special thank you to Dr. Houlihan, and the Rev. Msgr. Dennis Lally.

    Vincent G. Artz, age 84 of Clintonville, formerly of the Township of Lebanon, Waupaca County, passed away Wednesday morning, February 3, 2016 at the Greentree Health & Rehabilitation Center in Clintonville.
    Vincent was born on September 17, 1931 in the Town of Lebanon as the son of the late Edward and Kathryn (Martin) Artz. Vincent graduated from Manawa High School in 1949 and at age 25 was called into service with the United States Army. After being discharged, Vincent returned home and farmed his family's homestead in the Town of Lebanon. On September 25, 1971 he was united in marriage to Rose Lueck at the St. Rose Catholic Church in Clintonville. Vincent continued farming until 1996 and moved off the farm in 2014. In 2015 he moved to Clintonville where he and Rose have resided at the Aster Retirement Community. Vincent was a life-long member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in the Town of Lebanon where he served on the parish cemetery board. He also served as a volunteer with the Town of Lebanon Fire Department for a number of years. Vincent collected antiques as well as key chains, and loved to shop rummage sales. He also took pride in taking care of his farm equipment and looked forward to driving his tractor in the parade each year.
    Survivors include: His wife of 44 years: Rose.
    Daughters: Mary (Brad) Rodgers, Gillett & Kay Acevedo, Clintonville.
    Sons: Marty Artz, Manawa & Joe (Katrina) Artz, Bear Creek.
    Grandchildren: Noah & Sydney Artz, Alex & Brandon Rodgers, and Zach & Sebastian Acevedo.
    Sisters: Kathleen Knorr, Appleton & Lucille Lorrig, Clintonville.
    Sisters-in-law: Frances Artz, Manawa; Mary Gretzinger, Rhinelander; Rita Monnot, Clintonville; Sue (Jim) Collins, Clintonville; & Ellen (Phil) Everts, New London.
    A Brother-in-law: Darrol Bricco, New London.
    Vincent was also survived by his beloved dog, Tippy.
    Vincent was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson Nicholas at birth, a brother Melvin Artz, and sisters Mary Artz at birth & Eileen Gough.
    Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 11 AM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, N5705 County Rd T, in the Township of Lebanon, Waupaca County. Msgr. Dennis Lally will officiate and interment will take place at the parish cemetery in the spring. Military honors will be conducted outside of the church on Saturday following the service by members of the Clintonville American Legion Post #63 and VFW Post #664.
    Friends may call at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, 53 N. Main Street, Clintonville from 4 - 7 PM Friday and at the church on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of the service.
