    See Image Kimberly- John Van Himbergen, 76, a pioneer resident of this village, died very suddenly Wednesday afternoon after a stroke. Mr. Van Himbergen was apparently in good health Wednesday morning. About noon he became subject to a stroke, recovered, but had another at about 3:30 when he died. Mr. Van Himbergen came to this country from Bladel, Holland, 72 years ago and settled in Kimberiy, where he has made his home ever since. He is survived by two sons. Harry of this village and Alphonse of Letcher, South Dakota; two daughters, Mrs. John Tanty of Clintonvfiie and Mrs. Peter Van Dorst of Bladel, Holland. Funeral services will be read by the Rev. Van Oeffel at 9 o'clock Saturday morning in Holy Name church. Interment will be made in the KImberly Catholic cemetery.

    Barbara had a long career with Kimberly-Clark Corp and traveled throughout the US, England, Europe, South Africa. She was a member of MENSA. Barbara enjoyed spending time with family, playing bingo, traveling and planting.
    She is survived by her husband, Punky Lyon of Conway, SC, along with five children, Jason Lauer (Callie) of Sussex, WI; Jacquelyn McQuaid (Matt) of Appleton, WI; Ashley Bergman of Appleton, WI; Megan Burns (EJ) of Ball Ground, GA; Greg Lyon (Laura) of Torrington, CT. Barbara has nine amazing grandchildren that will miss their grandmother.
    Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Anne and Arnold "Spec" Hubers; sister, Rosemarie Richter and daughter, Stephanie Lyon.
    Memorial Services will be held at Lake Side Crossing Club House, Conway SC at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2014. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the National Arbor Day foundation. Guest Book available at MyrtleBeachFuneralHome.com
