    Obituary:
    Mrs. Otto Koepke. 76. 313 W. Winnebago Street died at 7'clock last evening at her home after a 1-day illness. Mrs. Koepke was born Oct. 26, 1862 at Milwaukee and lived in the Town of Center 43 years. She lived in Appleton the last 26 years. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran church and of the Ladies Aid society. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Jacob Wolsiegel, Black Creek; Mrs. William Meyer, Appleton: Mrs. Malinda Reiter, Racine; two sons, Leo, Arthur, Appleton: one brother. William Bergholz, Appleton: 14 grandchildren and 10 great grand children. Funeral services will be conduct ed 1:45 Thursday afternoon at Wichmann Funeral home and at 2 o'clock at St. Paul Lutheran church by the Rev. F. M. Brandt. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery. The body will be at the funeral home from this afternoon until time of funeral services.

    KOEPKE FUNERAL Funeral services for Mrs. Otto Koepke, 313 W. Winne bago street,were held yesterday afternoon at Wichmann Funeral home and at St.Paul Lutheran church with the Rev. F. M. Brandt in charge. Burial was in Riverside cemetery. Members of the Ladies Aid society of the church attended. Bearers were Ben Koepke, Charles Koepke, Henry Jens, Frank Rubbert, August Bohl, and Henry Bergholz.

    Dorothy M. (Koepke) Garland-Peterson, 93, Green Bay resident, formerly of Gillett, died November 6, 2014. She was born April 9, 1921, in the Town of Center to the late Leo and Meta Koepke. She married Jess Garland on April 7, 1942, and he preceded her in death in 1970. She married Victor Peterson on July 11, 1969. Victor preceded her in death in 1991. She was very eager to share her pride of her family. Dorothy loved to dance, listen to polka music and traveling with family and friends. She spent many years as a waitress and later, worked as a bartender. She was incredibly outgoing and fun loving. Dorothy was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post #300 in Gillett.
    Dorothy is survived by children, Victoria Gallagher, Howard; Judy (Robert) McCabe, Denmark; Keith (Debbie) Garland, Howard; step-daughter, Patricia (Paul) Hanson, Two Rivers; grandchildren, Kellie Gallagher-Smith, Michael Gallagher, Heath Garland, Shane Garland, Chelsea Hammond, Haley Garland, Matt McCabe, Sara Maenpaa, Gretchen Duquaine, Aleshia Garland, Alex Garland, John Hanson, Kathy Scherer, Debby Hanson, Jean Zemke, Beth Carrow; 27 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Alice Koepke; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
    She was preceded in death by son, Kerry Garland; son-in-law, Gary Gallagher; special friend and dancing partner, Elmer; and brothers, Leland (Leone) Koepke and Lester Koepke.
    Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Memorial service 12:00 noon Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the funeral home with Pastor John Laatsch officiating. Burial of the urn at the Appleton Highland Memorial Park at a later date.     The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Mc Cormick Memorial Home, Unity Hospice, and St. Vincent Hospital for their care and compassion.
