    Obituary:
    Carol Jean Braun (DeBruin) of Neenah age 75 passed away after a very brief illness on Wednesday May 20th, 2015. Carol was born October 6th, 1939, in Kimberly, the daughter of the late Edward and Eleanor (Tullberg) DeBruin. Carol graduated from Kimberly High School. She married Wesley Braun on May 7th, 1960.
    She started her career with Eisele Engineering, but her work with the Goodwill family was so important to her and a huge part of her life since 1976. Carol also enjoyed working part-time at the Neenah Public Library. She was always putting everyone else first. Gratitude, graciousness, giving, love and caring were her life. She was the center of our family, always making sure everyone was taken care of and well fed! Carol believed in celebrating all of the special occasions of life and always made it look effortless. She loved her independence, always gave her opinion and had great insight. Carol was spunky and loving to the end. Her strength was immeasurable. Many lives were influenced in a positive way because of who she was and the struggles she went through.
    Survivors include four children: Gregory (Jennifer) Braun, Tina (David) Palmer, Jeffrey (Julie) Braun and Sheila Kelley; ten grandchildren: Shane, Trent, Nathan, Nickolas Braun, Caleb and Analysse Palmer, Blair and Hannah Braun, Megan and Matthew Kelley; three great-grandchildren: Courtney, McKenzie and Amara; one sister, Yvonne (Paul) VanLandghen; and three sister in-laws, Nancy Thurow, Faye Peterson and Anita Tittel. Carol was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Wesley Braun, and a brother, Jerome DeBruin.
    A memorial service for Carol will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday May 26, 2015, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. The Rev. Martin Ruge will officiate. The visitation will be held Tuesday from 3:00 PM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in her name.

    We would like to thank Cherry Meadows and the Hospice staff for all they did to make our mother's stay comfortable.
    Love is the platform for a beautiful life-this was definitely Carol's mantra. We will love you forever and always Mom and Grandma.
