    Family History Researcher:
    He was taken to the hospital after a few days sick at home. He had Pleura Pneumoia and passed away in 1927. His brother Carl Sauter came from Sault Ste. Marie Michigan, three sisters Mrs G. E. Cooper of Danforth Michigan, Mrs Joseph Hirn Sr. and Miss Lena Sauter both of Escanaba Michigan. His funeral service was at St. Patrick's Church and he was buried at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Grandma Florence is also buried there.

    VALENTINE SAUTER Valentine Sauter. 51, formerly of Appleton, died Monday at Escanaba Mich. according to word received by relatives here. Mr. Sauter was born in the town of Harrison. The survivors are 11 children: one brother, Karl Sauter and two sisters. Mrs. Joseph Hern of Escanaba and Mrs. George Cooper of Escanaba, The funeral will be held at 9 o'clock Thursday morning at Escanaba, Mich.

    Valentine Sauter, age 53, a farmer of Danforth, passed away Tuesday morning at 5:10 o'clock at a local hospital where he was taken late Saturday suffering with pleura pneumonia. Mr. Sauter was ill at his home for several days before being admitted to the institution. No hope was held for his recovery when he was taken to this city.
    Mr. Sauter leaves a wife and eleven children, ranging in age from 21 years to 6 months. They are Edward, Gertrude, Earl, Carl, Raymond, Florence, Charlotte, Margaret, Ernest, Arleen, Mary. One brother Carl Sauter, of Sault Ste. Marie; three sisters, Mrs. G. E. Cooper of Danforth, Mrs. Joseph Hirn Sr, and Miss Lena Sauter of this city also survive. The body was taken to the Allo Funeral Home where it will remain until Thursday morning at 10 o'clock when funeral services will be held at St.Patrick`s church. Burial will be in St. Joseph`s cemetery.
    Mrs. Sauter was formerly Miss Florence Powers, daughter of John Powers of Milwaukee, Formerly of Escanaba.
    Out-of-town relatives who are expected to arrive today include Mr. and Mrs. Michael Powers, Mr. and Mrs. McCarthy of Milwaukee, John Powers of St.Charles,Ill. Carl Sauter of Sault Ste. Marie arrived in the city Sunday, having been called by his brother`s critical illness. He was 53 years,1 month and 13 days old, he was born in Black Creek WI.
