    Merlin E. "Merle" "Uncle Pete" Weyers, 71, Kimberly, passed away unexpectedly on December 24, 2013 at his home. Merle was born December 11, 1942 in Kimberly Wisconsin to Jacob "Pinky" and Elizabeth (Hietpas) Weyers. He was a 1961 graduate of Kimberly High School. He served his country as a member of the US Army during the Vietnam War. On October 4, 1968 he married Anita Wiese at St. Paul Catholic Church in Plainfield Wisconsin and they enjoyed over 45 years together. He was a longtime employee of NewPage (formerly Kimberly-Clark) until his retirement in 2004. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Kimberly. Merle loved to spend time at the family cottage. He enjoyed the outdoors and especially liked hunting and fishing. He was an avid sports fan and especially loved the Packers, Brewers, Badgers and NASCAR.
    He will be sadly missed by his wife Anita, children; Kellie (Erich) Kocher, Appleton, Tammy (Keith) Wenzlaff, Appleton, Sherry (special friend Ron Hartjes) Weyers, Manawa and Christa Weyers, Kimberly, grandchildren; Matt, Leah and Emily Kocher, Zach and Jacob "Jake" Wenzlaff, Amanda Hartjes; his dog and faithful companion Brandi, sister Waneta (Ron) Van Boxtel, Ft. Meyers Florida, brother Wayne Weyers, West Bend and the Friday Night Fish Crew; John and Nancy, Donna and George and Vonnie as well as many other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-father Dennis Thome, brother Eugene "Gene" Weyers, sister-in-law Betty Weyers-Burns, twin nephews John and Joseph Weyers, Anita's parents Everett and Hilda Wiese.
    Memorial Services will be held on Saturday January 4, 2014 at 11:30 am with Fr. Bob Kollath officiating at Holy Spirit/Holy Name Church, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly Wisconsin. Military Honors to follow immediately. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday January 4, 2014 from 9:30 to 11:30 am. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.
    The family would like to thank the first responders and staff of Fox Valley Metro for the assistance they gave. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.

On August 23, 1957, Helen married Harry Francis at Holy Cro ss Catholic Church in Kaukauna. The couple recently celebrated 47 years to gether. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.She is survived by her husband, Harry, Kaukauna, four sons: Dan, Tony (Amy ), Mike (Nancy), and Peter (Dawn) Francis, all of Kaukauna, nine grandchil dren, three brothers and three sisters-in-law: Dan (Sue) Weyers, Elcho, W I, Joe (Jean) Weyers and Clarence Weyers all of Kaukauna, and Alice Weyer s, PA., a sister: Marilyn (Dave) Bain, Kaukauna, numerous nieces and nephe ws.She was preceded in death by a son Scott, in 1993 and a brother, Bernard W eyers.The funeral service will be held at 5 p.m., Monday, August 30, at Holy Cro ss Catholic Church, Kaukauna with Fr.     Daniel W. Weyers, age 76, of Appleton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Appleton Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Dan was born in Appleton on July 15, 1938 to the late Martin and Clair (Schreiber) Weyers. He graduated with the class of 1956 at Kaukauna High School. On October 12, 1963, he was united in marriage to Susan Argust at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Appleton. The couple has enjoyed 51 years together. Dan worked at Kimberly Clark's Atlas Mill for 40 years, retiring in 1997. After retirement, Dan and his wife Susan moved to Elcho to their home on Post Lake. While there, Dan enjoyed relaxing in the outdoors of the great northwoods. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed golfing, following the Packers, Cubs, and Kimberly High School sports.
    He will be missed by his loving wife Susan, of Appleton; two sons: Steven W. (Sue) Weyers, and grandchildren Cassie and Mason, Freedom and William (Kaaren) Weyers, and grandchildren Brock and Dane, Village of Harrison; two brothers: Joe (Joan) Weyers and Clarence (Bev) Weyers, both of Kaukauna; 3 brothers-in-law, David Bain and Harry Francis, both of Kaukauna and Roger DuFrane, Black Creek; sister-in-law, Nancy (Pat) O'Brien, GA; and his little buddy, Benji. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
    Dan was preceded in death by his parents, brother Bernard "Bud" Weyers, two sisters: Helen Francis and Marilyn Bain, sister-in-law, Barbara DuFrane, and his little buddy, "Clark."
    Friends may visit from 11 am until 12:30 pm on Wednesday, April 15, at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel. A private family prayer service will then be held. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
    The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. David Ebben and his staff for all the compassionate care shown to Dan and Susan over the years. Dan will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved him.

    Marilyn Bain, age 71, passed away at her home on Monday morning, December 19, 2011. Marilyn was born in Kaukauna on January 22, 1940, daughter of the late Martin and Clara (Schreiber) Weyers. She graduated from the Kaukauna High School, and on January 23, 1960
    married David Bain at Holy Cross Church. In her younger years, she
    worked at the Moasis in Little Chute, Ray-O-Vac, and most recently as a CNA at Brewster Village in Appleton. Her contributions at Brewster Village were countless, and were appreciated by the staff and residents alike. She was also an active member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, and enjoyed cooking, sewing, traveling, and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She will be missed by each of them.
    Marilyn is survived by her loving husband: David Bain, Sr. of Kaukauna; ten children: Rob (Lori) Bain of Kaukauna; David (Cindy) Bain, Jr. of Kimberly; Paul "Wally" Bain of Kimberly; Diane Bain of Kaukauna; Jim (Michelle) Bain of Shiocton; Jerry (Laura) Bain of Kaukauna; Claudia (Scott) Werschem of Sun Prairie; Mary Bain of Kaukauna; Sally (Russell) Kettner of Shiocton; and Sharon (Bryan) Thede of Appleton. There also twenty-three grandchildren: Jennifer and Robin Bain; Alex (Stephanie) Bain, Christopher Bain, Kyle Bain and his fiancée Dana; Brandon, Tom, and Samantha Bain; Owen, Logan, Caleb, and Piper Bain; Madison, Gabrielle, Cassie, and Elias Werschem; Destiny, Lydia, and Brandi Kettner; Victoria, Brittney, Zachary, and Courtney Thede; a great-grandchild: Cooper. There are also three
    brothers: Clarence (Bev) Weyers of Kaukauna; Dan (Sue) Weyers of Appleton; and Joe (Joan) Weyers of Kaukauna; sisters-in-law: Alice Weyers of Pennsylvania; Charlotte Bolssen of Shawano; and Sarah Elertson of Shawano; and brothers-in-law: Harry Francis of Kaukauna; Floyd (Barb) Bain of DePere; Larry Bain of Freedom; and Bob Granger of Darboy. Other survivors include many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; a sister: Helen Francis; a brother: Bernard Weyers; a nephew:
    Scott Francis; sisters-in-law: Elaine Weyers and Carol Granger; and
    brothers-in-law: Bill Bolssen; Harold Elertson; Hamilton (Helen) Bain; Claude Bain; and Bob Bain.
    The funeral liturgy for Marilyn will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 22, 2011 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street in Kaukauna, with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM again Thursday morning at the church from 10:00AM until the time of services at the church.
    The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital 4W as well as to everyone at ThedaCare at Home Hospice. We will never forget your kindness.
    To her beloved family and friends, Marilyn will now be the angel in heaven that she was on earth.

    Little Chute - Jeanne A. Gjerald, age 61, of Little Chute, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, April 9, 2018. She was born on July 25, 1956, daughter of the late Eugene and Elizabeth (Baumann) Weyers. On December 17, 1988, Jeanne married Paul Gjerald, and together they have celebrated over 29 years of marriage. They were sweethearts and enjoyed watching movies with each other, while eating a big bowl of popcorn. Jeanne was also an avid reader and tremendously enjoyed children. She ran her own daycare called Jeanne's Little Ones. Babies and children could make Jeanne smile more than anything. She most recently was employed by Transport Refrigeration.
    Jeanne is survived by her loving husband, Paul Gjerald; siblings: Lee (Lois) Weyers, Ken (Susan) Weyers, Gary (Debbie) Weyers and Lori (John) Hein; mother-in-law, Betty Gjerald; brothers and sisters-in-law: Deanna Gjerald, Kay (Joe) Boelter, Alan Gjerald and Jane (Terry) Wyngaard; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.
    Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Elizabeth; two infant brothers; father-in-law, Cliff Gjerald and sister-in-law, Ellen Gjerald.
    Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 601 S. Washington Street, Combined Locks, with Pastor Nate Gauerke officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
