    Obituary:
    Wayne Stanley Baumgart, 70, of Freedom, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016, as the result of an automobile accident. He was born on October 11, 1945, son of the late Bill and Catherine (Diedrich) Baumgart. On May 19, 1970, he married Judy Gloudemans at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute.
    Wayne proudly served his country for two years in the U.S. Army. He was a master plumber, and in 1984 he started his own business, Baumgart Plumbing, Inc. Wayne enjoyed spending time outdoors at the cottage on Loon Lake and the hunting land in Tigerton. His family was more important to him than anything. His grandchildren were the apple of his eye. There was never a shortage of "I love yous" and he will be deeply missed. Wayne was always willing to help anyone at any time and would never say no.
    Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Judy; his children: Karen (Chad) Zirbel, Craig (Wendy) Baumgart, Amy (Brian) Hintz and Eric (Anne) Baumgart; his precious grandchildren: Madeline, Koen and Braylen Zirbel, Devin, Travis and Levi Baumgart, Taylor Gard, and Halle Baumgart; brothers: Cletus (Elaine), Clyde (Charmaine), Clayton (Avita), Kieth (Cheryl), Darryl (Mary), Earl (Sandy) and Jeff (Jean) Baumgart; a sister, Yvonne (Ron) Kubat; brothers and sisters-in-law: Joe Gloudemans, Dennis (Karen) Gloudemans, Bonnie (Dennis) Feldkamp, Nancy (Greg) Janssen, Jan (Dan) Biselx, Joni (Gerry) Janssen, Kathy (Jeff) Jansen, Colleen (Oscar) Schuler, Tim Gloudemans, Mike (Kay) Gloudemans, Karen (Steve) Frassetto, Jeff (Julie) Gloudemans, Mary (Bob "Bear") Hietpas, Mark (Katy) Gloudemans, Chris (Terry) Coenen and Todd Gloudemans; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.
    Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Catherine; his father and mother-in-law, Tony and Verna Gloudemans; son-in-law, Tom Gard; a sister, Karen Baumgart and a sister-in-law, Arlene Gloudemans.
    Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, W2037 County Road S, Freedom. Friends may call at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home Freedom Location, N3972 Columbia Ave., Freedom, on Tuesday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday directly at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Full military honors will be performed by the Freedom VFW Post 7692. Interment will take place at St. Nicholas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Wayne's name.     Twin infant daughters of Troy and Jennifer (De Groot) Baumgart, died unexpectedly shortly after birth on Friday evening, July 6, 2012.     Twin infant daughters of Troy and Jennifer (De Groot) Baumgart, died unexpectedly shortly after birth on Friday evening, July 6, 2012. The twins are survived by their parents; maternal grandparents: Richard and Barb De Groot; paternal grandparents: Keith and Cheryl Baumgart; aunts and uncles: Dawn (Randy) Paltzer and their children: Amber Leitzke and her daughter Jenna, Zachary Paltzer, Tyler Paltzer, Tyler Paltzer, and Miranda Paltzer; Al (Stacy) De Groot and their children: Christopher and Alaina; Eric (Amy) De Groot and their children: Karlee, Kolin, Kaiden, and Kaylee; Brad (Sherri) Baumgart and their children: Mia, Braden, and Addison; Tammie (Trever) Bauer and their children: Mason, Riley, and Pierson; Ashley (Ryan) Toppins and their children: Seth, Alex, and Paige.
    Private family memorial services for Skye and Starr will be held at the Boettcher Family Funeral Home in Kaukauna.
    The family would like to thank the staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital Birthing Center, and a special thank you to Katie, Patty, Laura, and Deb as well as Drs. Honkamp, Cherney, and Schumann.
