    Obituary:
    Sister Miriam Johnson, 90, died Tuesday evening in Holy Family Convent, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Thursday in Holy Family Convent Chapel. The Rev. Julian Resch O.Praem will officiate and burial will be in the convent cemetery. Sister Miriam, nee Elizabeth Johnson, was born Oct. 7, 1888 in Kaukauna, daughter of the late Abraham and Sarah Hancock Johnson. She entered the Order of Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity in 1910 and professed her vows in 1913. She served the community as a musician in Komatke, Ariz., Cooperstown, Brillion and Holy Family Convent and Memorial Hospital in West Point, Neb., retiring in 1964. Survivors include a nephew, Harvey Johnson of Racine and a niece, Mrs. Ray Cherney of Green Bay and other nieces and nephews. Friends may call in the convent 5 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Wednesday evening, where a prayer service will be at 7 o'clock. Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
